Claims (5)

  1. Laundry treatment apparatus (10) having a laundry drum (14) and a process air flow guide (20) for guiding a process air flow through the laundry drum (14) and a heat exchanger arranged downstream of the laundry drum (14) along the process air flow and a filter apparatus (30) arranged between the laundry drum (14) and the heat exchanger (24) in the process air flow, wherein
    - the filter apparatus (30) has at least one filter support (14), with a filter element, which can be inserted into the laundry treatment apparatus (10),
    characterised in that
    - the filter apparatus (30) has at least one sealing insert (32) which can be inserted into the laundry treatment apparatus (10),
    - the sealing insert is embodied as a substantially planar frame, with a main plane, which defines a front side (40) pointing to the heat exchanger and a rear side (42) pointing away from the heat exchanger (24), and with a flow through opening (44),
    - and wherein the directions parallel to the normal vector of the main plane are referred to as axial directions; directions at right angles thereto as radial directions,
    - the sealing insert (32) can be removed from the laundry treatment apparatus (10) independently of the filter support (14),
    - in the inserted state the filter element (36) rests in the axial direction tightly against a rear side of the sealing insert (32), and
    - a radial elastic sealing lip (48) is provided on the sealing insert (32), which, in the inserted state, seals the sealing insert (32) against a process air guide of the laundry treatment apparatus (10).
  2. Laundry treatment apparatus (10) as claimed in claim 1, in which an axial retaining rib (50) is embodied on a rear side (42) of the sealing insert (32) pointing in the flow direction and circulating about the flow through opening (44).
  3. Laundry treatment apparatus (10) as claimed in one of claims 1 or 2, in which a support web (46) which divides the flow through opening (44) into two parts (44a, 44b) is provided on the sealing insert (32).
  4. Laundry treatment apparatus (10) according to one of the preceding claims, which has a collection tub (38) for introduction into a process air guide of the laundry treatment apparatus (10), on which the sealing insert (32) is rotatably mounted.
  5. Laundry treatment apparatus (10) according to one of the preceding claims, which is a tumble dryer (10).
