- the mouth 17a (or 17b) comprises a flared part 19a or 19b forming a guide funnel and making it possible to cap the outlet opening 15a or 15b of the first rigid passage 8a or 8b when the rocking arm 9a or 9b is in its position engaged with the positioning star 12.
- each arm 9a, 9b comprises a lower part 22a or 22b which carries the articulation 10a or 10b and on which is fixed the straight part 18a or 18b of the second passage 16a or 16b.
- the fixing is carried out by two plates 23 which are arranged at the level of the narrow sides of the corridor (see also figure 1 ) and which are articulated both on the right part 18a or 18b and on the lower part 22a or 22b (articulations 24 shown schematically by lines on the figure 3 ).
- These two plates constitute a deformable parallelogram connecting the second rigid passage 16a or 16b to the lower part 22a, 22b of the arm 9a or 9b.
- This deformable parallelogram allows limited axial displacement of the weapon 1 (which is integral with the lower part 22a, 22b of the arms) with respect to the second rigid corridors 16a, 16b which are kept relatively to the lookout. Description
The technical field of the invention is that of devices allowing the supply of an automatic weapon with ammunition in strips, and more particularly that of devices intended for weapons having a dual feed.
It is conventional to feed a weapon from ammunition tapes. To avoid shooting incidents, the ammunition bands are generally guided by corridors.
The corridors are most often flexible or semi-rigid corridors. However, when the weapon assembly is compact and when it is sought to drive the bands along paths having a reduced radius of curvature, it is necessary to have recourse to rigid corridors. Indeed, the natural curvature adopted by the flexible or semi-rigid corridors does not make it possible to reduce the size of the corridors. Moreover, flexible corridors are ill-suited to paths combining or alternating different pivotings of the strip.
This is especially true when it is necessary to rotate the ammunition strip 90 ° to drive the ammunition from a magazine in which it is oriented with its axis perpendicular to the vertical plane containing the axis of the gun barrel. towards an opening for introduction into the weapon at which the ammunition has their axis parallel to the axis of the barrel of the weapon.
However, this weapon system is a multitube system concretely comprising several weapons each having its introduction orifice. Each rigid passage is therefore fixed at the level of the introduction orifice in one of the arms and provision is made for a corridor comprising two rectilinear parts sliding with respect to one another to absorb the recoil of the weapon. A recoil for a medium caliber weapon is of the order of 10 to 30 mm (by medium caliber means a caliber between 12.5mm and 40mm).
It is the object of the invention to provide a feed device for a weapon comprising two tilting feed channels, a device comprising rigid passages making it possible to ensure the compactness of the assembly while ensuring reliable guidance of the bands of fire. ammunition.
Thus, the object of the invention is a device for supplying ammunition in strips for an automatic weapon of the double-feed type, a device comprising two supply channels for ammunition which are arranged on either side of a firing axis. of the weapon, each channel being provided with an arm swinging around an axis parallel to the axis of the weapon so as to be able to position a power star integral with said arm swinging between a position in engagement with a star stationary station and an unobstructed position of the stationary star, device characterized in that it comprises, for each supply channel, at least a first rigid corridor leading a band of ammunition from a magazine to 'in the vicinity of the weapon, and at the level of each rocking arm, a second rigid guide passage comprising an upper mouth connected to a straight part in which the ammunition are guided and progress with their axes substantially parallel to the firing axis and in a substantially vertical direction, the mouth being oriented in a direction substantially perpendicular to the straight part and being disposed opposite an outlet opening of the first rigid passage, the mouth also comprising a flared part forming a guide funnel and making it possible to cover the outlet opening of the first rigid passage when the rocking arm is in its position in engagement with the positioning star.
According to one characteristic, the flared part of the mouth may make it possible to cover the outlet opening of the first rigid corridor also when the rocking arm is in its position free from the positioning star.
Advantageously, the mouthpiece may include a clearance at its upper face.
According to other characteristics, the first rigid corridor may include a part forming a 90 ° plane elbow so as to bring the ammunition to an initial orientation in which they have their axis perpendicular to a vertical plane passing through the axis of the lane. 'weapon in a final orientation, at the level of the exit opening of the first rigid corridor, final orientation in which the ammunition has their axis parallel to the axis of the weapon.
Each rocking arm may include a lower part integral with the weapon and to which the second rigid corridor will be fixed by a deformable parallelogram.

As can be seen in the figures, the feed device comprises at the level of each

To improve the guidance of the

Thus the guidance of the ammunition is perfectly ensured by the rigid corridors both at the level of the first
It will be noted that the

Different variants are possible without departing from the scope of the invention. It is thus possible to produce the deformable parallelogram connecting the lower part of the rocking arm to the second rigid passage in the form of connecting rods connected to the two parts of the arm by ball joints.
