  • Construction jobsites typically contain a variety of elements such as equipment, power lines, structures, building materials, and personnel. Depending on the phase of a project, there are changing arrangements of these elements while the building project itself progresses toward completion. During any given phase, however, a crane operator is required to take safety precautions so as not to run the boom into obstacles during operation of the crane. To do so, the crane operator often requires another worker on the ground that spots and watches for any impending problems, such as coming too close to an obstacle. This worker may then signal to the crane operator to move away from the obstacle or to shut the crane down. This includes inefficiencies and the need to pay the worker for just monitoring crane function visually.
  • EP 3 037 376 A1 discloses an approach for controlling a boom of a crane in proximity of obstacles at a worksite by defining a forbidden volume. More specifically, this document discloses the features of the preamble of claims 1 and 17 with the exception of type of crane, that being a tower crane.

Claims (25)

  1. Verfahren zum Steuern einer Krankomponente (1150) eines Turmdrehkrans (1090) in der Nähe von Hindernissen (80) auf einer Baustelle, wobei der Turmdrehkran (1090) einen Mast (1093), ein mit dem Mast (1093) gekoppeltes Drehlager (1116), einen Ausleger (1110, 2110), der auf dem Drehlager (1116) montiert ist, und einer Hakenflasche (1150) umfasst, die mit dem Ausleger (1110, 2110) verbunden ist, wobei das Verfahren durch eine Computervorrichtung (300) mit einem Prozessor (308) und einem Speicher (304) ausführbar ist, wobei das Verfahren umfasst:
    Speichern von Koordinatendaten im Speicher (304), die ein Koordinatensystem (98) auf der Baustelle darstellen, das einen Ursprung (92) an einer Basis einer Rotationsachse (1094) des Drehlagers (1116) hat und relativ zum Mast (1093) fixiert ist, wobei der Ausleger (1110, 2110) um die Drehachse (1094) drehbar ist;
    Speichern von Hindernisdaten im Speicher (304), die ein verbotenes Volumen (400) im Koordinatensystem (98) darstellen;
    Speichern von Krankomponentendaten im Speicher (304), die den Standort der Krankomponente (1150) darstellen; und
    Begrenzen der Bewegung der Krankomponente (1150) durch die Computervorrichtung (300), um zu vermeiden, dass die Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) in das verbotene Volumen (400) eintritt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass:
    die zu steuernde Krankomponente die Hakenflasche (1150) ist;
    die Krankomponentendaten Hakenflaschendaten umfassen, die durch ein Hakenflaschenmodell (2169, 4169) in dem Koordinatensystem dargestellt werden, um die Hakenflasche (1150) zu modellieren, wobei das Verfahren ferner umfasst:
    das Bestimmen, durch die Computervorrichtung (300), eines Hakenflaschennähevektors (2473, 4473) unter Verwendung der Koordinatendaten, der Hindernisdaten und der Krankomponentendaten, wobei der Hakenflaschennähevektor (2473, 4473) einen minimalen Abstand zwischen einem Punkt auf dem Hakenflaschenmodell (2169, 4169) und dem verbotenen Volumen (400) darstellt, wobei
    das Begrenzen der Bewegung der Krankomponente (1150) das Begrenzen der Bewegung der Hakenflasche (1150) basierend auf dem Hakenflaschennähevektor (2473, 4473) und einem Schwellenabstand umfasst, und die begrenzten Bewegungen ausgewählt werden aus:
    Schwenkbewegungen nach links, Schwenkbewegungen nach rechts, Auslegerbewegungen nach oben, Auslegerbewegungen nach unten und Hakenbewegungen nach unten, oder
    Schwenkbewegungen nach links, Schwenkbewegungen nach rechts, Laufkatzenbewegungen einwärts, Laufkatzenbewegungen auswärts und Hakenbewegungen nach unten.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Speichern von Koordinatendaten das Speichern von Daten umfasst, die die Rotationsachse (1094) darstellen.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Speichern von Hindernisdaten das Eingeben von Daten umfasst, die das verbotene Volumen (400) darstellen.
  4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei die Daten, die das verbotene Volumen (400) darstellen, Koordinaten von mindestens zwei Punkten (410, 411) des verbotenen Volumens (400) enthalten.
  5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, wobei das verbotene Volumen (400) ein rechteckiges Prisma ist und die mindestens zwei Koordinaten die vordere obere linke Ecke des verbotenen Volumens (400) und die vordere obere rechte Ecke des verbotenen Volumens umfassen (400).
  6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, wobei die Koordinaten der mindestens zwei Punkte (410, 411) des verbotenen Volumens (400) durch Positionieren der Hakenflasche (1150) an den mindestens zwei Punkten (410, 411) und Aufzeichnen der Position der Hakenflasche (1150) mit einem Nennkapazitätsbegrenzer (RCL) (365) identifiziert werden.
  7. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, wobei die Koordinaten der mindestens zwei Punkte (410, 411) des verbotenen Volumens (400) unter Verwendung des Auslegers (1110, 2110) identifiziert werden.
  8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei das Verwenden des Auslegers (1110, 2110) zum Identifizieren der mindestens zwei Koordinaten des verbotenen Volumens (400) umfasst:
    Zielen des Auslegers (1110, 2110) in einer ersten Richtung auf eine vordere Fläche des verbotenen Volumens (400) und Bestimmen eines horizontalen Abstands zwischen der Fläche und der Rotationsachse (1094), um einen ersten Vektor (1460) zu bestimmen, der der Vorderfläche des verbotenen Volumens (400) entspricht;
    Zielen des Auslegers (1110, 2110) in einer zweiten Richtung auf eine vordere obere linke Ecke des verbotenen Volumens (400) und Bestimmen eines zweiten Vektors, der der zweiten Richtung des Auslegers (1110, 2110) entspricht;
    Schneiden des zweiten Vektors und der Ebene, um eine erste Koordinate der Hindernisdaten zu definieren;
    Zielen des Auslegers (1110, 2110) in einer dritten Richtung auf eine vordere, obere rechte Ecke des verbotenen Volumens (400) und Bestimmen eines dritten Vektors, der der dritten Richtung des Auslegers (1110, 2110) entspricht; und
    Schneiden des dritten Vektors und der Ebene, um eine zweite Koordinate der Hindernisdaten zu definieren.
  9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, wobei das Zielen des Auslegers (1110, 2110) mindestens eines der folgenden umfasst: Ausrichten des Auslegers (1110, 2110) unter Verwendung einer an dem Ausleger (1110, 2110) angebrachten Videokamera oder Ausrichten des Auslegers (1110, 2110) mit einem am Ausleger befestigten Laserpointer.
  10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Begrenzen der Bewegung der Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) umfasst:
    Festlegen des Schwellenabstands als Verlangsamungsschwellenabstand zwischen der Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) und dem verbotenen Volumen (400); und
    Ändern einer Kranfunktion als Reaktion darauf, dass der berechnete Mindestabstand zwischen der Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) und dem verbotenen Volumen (400) kleiner als der Verlangsamungsschwellenabstand ist.
  11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 10, wobei das Ändern der Kranfunktion das Verlangsamen der Bewegung der Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) in mindestens einer Richtung umfasst, die die Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) näher an das verbotene Volumen (400) bewegt.
  12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Begrenzen der Bewegung der Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) ferner umfasst:
    Festlegen des Schwellenabstands als Abschaltschwellenabstand zwischen der Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) und dem verbotenen Volumen (400); und
    Anhalten der Bewegung der Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) als Reaktion darauf, dass der berechnete Mindestabstand zwischen der Krankomponente (1110, 2110, 1150) und dem verbotenen Volumen (400) kleiner als der Abschaltschwellenabstand ist.
  13. Verfahren nach Anspruch 3, wobei die Daten, die das verbotene Volumen (400) darstellen, ein Gebäudeinformationsmodell umfassen und das Speichern von Hindernisdaten das Ausrichten des Gebäudeinformationsmodells in dem Koordinatensystem (98) umfasst.
  14. Verfahren nach Anspruch 4, wobei das verbotene Volumen (400) eine prismatische Form ist und basierend auf den zwei Koordinaten gebildet wird.
  15. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Ausleger (1110, 2110) ein Wippausleger (1110) ist und die Hakenflasche (1150) an einem freien Ende des Wippauslegers (1110) aufgehängt ist.
  16. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei der Ausleger (1110, 2110) ein Hammerkopfausleger (2110) ist und eine Laufkatze (2112) mit dem Hammerkopfausleger (2110) gekoppelt und für eine Bewegung entlang des Hammerkopfauslegers (2110) konfiguriert ist, wobei die Hakenflasche (1150) an der Laufkatze (2112) aufgehängt und mit ihr bewegbar ist.
  17. System zum Steuern einer Krankomponente (1150) eines Turmdrehkrans (1090) in der Nähe von Hindernissen (80) auf einer Baustelle, wobei der Turmdrehkran (1090) einen Mast (1093), ein Drehlager (1116) auf dem Mast (1093), einen Ausleger (1110, 2110), der auf dem Drehlager (1116) auf dem Mast (1093) montiert ist, und eine Hakenflasche (1150) aufweist, die mit dem Ausleger (1110, 2110) verbunden ist, wobei das System umfasst:
    ein Kransteuerungssystem, das dazu konfiguriert ist, den Betrieb der Krankomponente (1150) zu steuern;
    einen Prozessor (308) in funktionaler Verbindung mit dem Kransteuersystem; und
    einen Speicher (304) in funktionaler Kommunikation mit dem Prozessor (308), wobei der Speicher (304) Daten speichert, die umfassen:
    Daten, die ein Koordinatensystem (98) darstellen, das einen Ursprung (92) an einer Basis einer Rotationsachse (1094) des Drehlagers (1116) hat und relativ zu dem Mast (1093) fixiert ist;
    Daten, die die Krankomponente darstellen (1150);
    Daten, die ein verbotenes Volumen (400) im Koordinatensystem darstellen; und
    computerausführbare Anweisungen zur Ausführung durch den Prozessor (308), wobei die computerausführbaren Anweisungen so konfiguriert sind, dass sie einen Mindestabstand zwischen der Krankomponente (1150) und dem verbotenen Volumen (400) basierend auf den die Krankomponente (1150) darstellenden Daten und den Daten berechnen, die das verbotene Volumen (400) darstellen, und um das Kransteuerungssystem zu veranlassen, die Bewegung der Krankomponente (1150) basierend auf dem berechneten Mindestabstand zu steuern, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass:
    die zu steuernde Krankomponente die Hakenflasche (1150) ist;
    die die Krankomponente darstellenden Daten Hakenflaschendaten enthalten, die durch ein Hakenflaschenmodell (2169, 4169) in dem Koordinatensystem dargestellt werden, um die Hakenflasche (1150) zu modellieren; und
    das Steuern der Bewegung der Krankomponente das Steuern der Bewegung der Hakenflasche (1150) umfasst, um zu vermeiden, dass die Hakenflasche (1150) in das verbotene Volumen (400) eintritt, wobei die gesteuerten Bewegungen ausgewählt werden aus:
    Schwenkbewegungen nach links, Schwenkbewegungen nach rechts, Auslegerbewegungen nach oben, Auslegerbewegungen nach unten und Hakenbewegungen nach unten, oder
    Schwenkbewegungen nach links, Schwenkbewegungen nach rechts, Laufkatzenbewegungen einwärts, Laufkatzenbewegungen auswärts und Hakenbewegungen nach unten.
  18. System nach Anspruch 17, wobei die computerausführbaren Anweisungen ferner so konfiguriert sind, dass sie mindestens zwei Koordinaten des verbotenen Volumens (400) bestimmen.
  19. System nach Anspruch 18, wobei der Ausleger (1110, 2110) verwendet wird, um die mindestens zwei Koordinaten zu bestimmen.
  20. System nach Anspruch 19, das ferner ein Auslegerzielsystem zum Ausrichten des Auslegers (1110, 2110) auf die mindestens zwei Koordinaten des verbotenen Volumens (400) umfassen.
  21. System nach Anspruch 20, wobei das Auslegerzielsystem ein System umfasst, das aus der Gruppe ausgewählt wird, die aus einem Laserpointer und einem Videokamerasystem besteht.
  22. System nach Anspruch 18, wobei die Hakenflasche (1150) verwendet wird, um die mindestens zwei Koordinaten des verbotenen Volumens (400) zu bestimmen.
  23. System nach Anspruch 17, wobei das Kransteuerungssystem die Bewegung der Krankomponente (1150) in Reaktion darauf begrenzt, dass der berechnete Mindestabstand kleiner als ein Schwellenabstand ist, wobei die Daten ferner Folgendes umfassen:
    einen Schwellenabstandswert.
  24. System nach Anspruch 23, wobei das Kransteuersystem die Bewegung der Krankomponente (1150) als Reaktion darauf stoppt, dass der berechnete Mindestabstand kleiner als ein Abschaltschwellenabstand ist, wobei die Daten ferner Folgendes umfassen:
    einen Abschalt-Schwellenabstandswert.
  25. System nach Anspruch 17, wobei die Daten, die das verbotene Volumen (400) darstellen, ein Gebäudeinformationsmodell umfassen, und wobei die computerausführbaren Anweisungen ferner konfiguriert sind, um die Position des verbotenen Volumens (400) innerhalb des Koordinatensystems (98) unter Verwendung des Ausleger (1110, 2110) und/oder der Hakenflasche (1150) festzulegen.
