  • the recycling system is particularly advantageous from the point of view of operating costs, making recovery and recycling profitable also for users of apparatus for water jet cutting.
  • Said recovery operations of the abrasive material can be implemented continuously during operation of the cutting apparatus. If the amount of abrasive particles recovered is not sufficient to guarantee the correct flow of abrasive material in suspension, new dry particles can be mixed with the recovered wet particles, the water and the gelling agent.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un appareil de découpe à jet d'eau comprenant : une source d'eau (2); - des moyens de pompage (4), en communication avec la source d'eau, pour générer un écoulement d'eau à haute pression; un réservoir (22) contenant un matériau abrasif en suspension (21), dans lequel ledit matériau abrasif en suspension comprend un fluide et des particules abrasives dispersées de manière homogène dans ledit fluide; et - une tête de coupe (10) en communication fluidique avec lesdits moyens de pompage (4) et ledit réservoir (22) du matériau abrasif en suspension (21), ladite tête de coupe comprenant une chambre de mélange (12); ledit réservoir du matériau abrasif en suspension (21) étant en communication avec ladite tête de coupe (10) au moyen d'un canal d'entrée abrasif (23) et ladite tête de coupe étant configurée pour générer une pression de vide qui tire le matériau abrasif en suspension (21) à travers ledit canal d'entrée d'abrasif (23) vers la chambre de mélange (12) pour mélanger le matériau abrasif en suspension et l'eau à haute pression et former un jet d'eau et d'abrasif (15). La présente invention concerne en outre un procédé de génération d'une découpe à jet d'eau pouvant être mis en œuvre avec ledit appareil.
