Definitions
- the invention relates to a gas-air mixing device with a flow line body designed as a Venturi nozzle, which has an air flow inlet, a gas-air mixture outlet and a combustion gas supply opening provided between the air flow inlet and the gas-air mixture outlet in the area of a venturi cross-sectional constriction.
- gas-air mixing devices are used in conjunction with premix fans to provide heating devices with a gas-air mixture quantity appropriate to their performance and, during operation, the burner output to be able to continuously adapt to the actually required heat output. This modulation should be implemented over the largest possible area.
- a flow optimization is necessary in order to keep the pressure losses as low as possible.
- the system pressure loss in the flow line body of the gas-air mixing device which is designed as a Venturi nozzle, with the same Venturi pressure can be achieved by reducing the flow losses when adding fuel gas.
- the main air flow is guided through the flow line body, which is designed as a Venturi nozzle, and is usually drawn in via a fan.
- the gas is fed in at the narrowest cross section and from the outside through the wall of the flow line body, ie at the point of the highest negative pressure of the Venturi nozzle.
- Such gas supplies are for example from the EP 2 863 125 A1 known, the application described there being directed to other technical problems than the present disclosure.
- Further prior art in the present technical field is disclosed in the documents DE 10 2009 024269 A1 , WO 02/9319 A1 and EP 0 846 916 A2 .
- the invention is based on the object of providing a gas-air mixing device which ensures high efficiency and a wide modulation range due to a low pressure loss with a high Venturi pressure at the same time. This must be so high that a connected gas valve can still work reliably even with a low degree of modulation.
- a gas-air mixing device is proposed with a flow line body designed as a Venturi nozzle, which has an air flow inlet, a gas-air mixture outlet and one between the air flow inlet and the gas-air mixture outlet in the area having a venturi cross-sectional constriction provided fuel gas supply opening.
- the fuel gas supply opening is formed by at least six individual gas pockets that are distributed over the circumference of the flow line body, spaced from one another and penetrate the flow line body.
- the gas pockets each have a first radially outwardly extending section in which the inner wall surfaces of the gas pockets extend radially outward over a predetermined length t at an angle of ⁇ 10 ° with respect to a radius of the flow line body . This results in a high mixture of gas and air.
- the number of gas pockets is 6 to 20, more preferably 8 to 20.
- the greater the number of gas pockets the better the mixing between the main flow of air through the flow line body and fuel gas supplied from outside via the gas pockets.
- the efficiency of the Venturi nozzle also increases. Due to the increased number of gas pockets, each individual gas pocket can be made smaller without reducing the overall cross-section. As a result, seen in absolute terms, the total area of the inner wall area of the flow conduction body lying between the individual gas pockets, on which the air flows unaffected and thus with a better adjacent flow, increases.
- an embodiment is favorable in terms of flow in which the gas pockets are arranged uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction.
- a one-piece design of the entire gas-air mixing device is also advantageous in terms of production technology.
- the advantageous effect according to the invention is achieved through the flow-optimized geometry of the gas pockets, according to which the gas pockets proceed from the inner circumferential surface of the flow line body initially have the radially outwardly extending first section in which the inner wall surfaces of the gas pockets extend radially outward at an angle of ⁇ 10 ° to a radius of the flow line body, i.e. close to the normal to the inner circumferential surface of the flow line body.
- this angle is set to 0 °, so that the inner wall surfaces of the gas pockets extend radially outwards normal to the inner circumferential surface of the flow line body and parallel to the radius of a cylindrical flow line body.
- each gas pocket in the circumferential direction on the inner circumferential surface of the flow guide body is thus minimized and, in return, the flow area unaffected by the gas pockets is increased.
- the flow is present in this area between the gas pockets, so that the pressure loss is lower for the same volume flow and the degree of mixing between the fuel gas supplied via the gas pockets and the air flow through the Venturi nozzle is increased.
- the predetermined length t of the inner wall surfaces in the first radially outwardly extending section of the gas pockets is at least 0.2 mm and at most 10% of the minimum flow diameter Dv of the venturi cross-sectional constriction of the flow line body. It is therefore 0.2 mm ⁇ t ⁇ 0.1 Dv.
- the minimum flow diameter Dv of the Venturi cross-sectional constriction is also referred to in technical jargon as the "Venturi diameter".
- the gas pockets have a second section radially adjoining the first radially outwardly extending section, which completely penetrates the flow line body in the radial direction to form the fuel gas supply opening up to its outside, the second section being in a radial section the venturi cross-sectional constriction of the flow line body seen, is designed as a convex contour and in particular as a segment of a circle with a radius R.
- the circular section of the second section merges tangentially into the first section extending radially outward from the inner circumferential surface.
- the first and second sections, seen in radial section have a jump in the course at their transition.
- the radius R of the circular segment has a size which corresponds to 0.02 to 0.3 of the minimum flow diameter Dv of the venturi cross-sectional constriction of the flow line body.
- an embodiment is advantageous in which the gas pockets have a total opening area which corresponds to 5-25% of the minimum flow cross-section of the venturi cross-sectional constriction of the flow line body.
- the total opening area in the area mentioned avoids a flow-technically disadvantageous throttle point through the gas pockets.
- the flow line body has a widening section pointing in the direction of the gas-air mixture outlet with a flow cross-section that increases compared to the Venturi cross-section narrowing.
- the gas pockets extend in the axial longitudinal direction, i.e. the main flow direction of the flow line body, over 20-80%, more preferably 20-40% of the axial length of the extension section.
- the depth of penetration of the gas pockets into the wall of the flow line body increases steadily until they completely penetrate the wall in the area of the minimum flow diameter Dv of the venturi cross-sectional constriction and each form an opening for the gas inlet.
- an axial length h of the individual gas pockets in the area of the minimum flow diameter Dv compared to this minimum flow diameter Dv is designed such that 0 h / Dv 0.3 applies.
- the wall of the flow guide body has a wall thickness of 0.2-2 mm in the area of the minimum flow cross-section of the Venturi cross-sectional constriction.
- the gas-air mixing device 1 is designed as a Venturi nozzle with a one-piece flow line body 2, which has an inlet section 21 which tapers in cross section, a Venturi cross section constriction 20 with the smallest flow cross section and an expansion section 11.
- the inlet section 21 forms the air flow inlet 3, the widening section 11 the gas-air mixture outlet 4.
- the circumferential and evenly distributed spaced apart eight gas pockets 5 formed fuel gas supply opening.
- the fuel gas entry into the air flow within the flow line body 2 takes place exclusively at the Venturi cross-sectional constriction 20, even if the gas pockets 5 extend in the axial longitudinal direction of the flow line body 2 over 60% of the axial length of the extension section 11 on the inner circumferential surface 6, without the wall of the flow line body 2 to penetrate.
- Each of the eight gas pockets 5 has, starting from the inner circumferential surface 6 of the flow guide body 2, a radially outwardly extending section 7 (first section), in which the inner wall surfaces 8 of the gas pockets 5 extend over the length t parallel to the radius and normally at right angles opposite to the inner circumferential surface 6 of the flow line body 2 extend in a straight line radially outward.
- This section 7 is directly followed by the section 9 (second section), which connects the flow line body 2 to the venturi cross-section constriction 20 penetrates completely in the radial direction to form the fuel gas supply opening.
- the second section 9, seen in cross section, is designed as a circular section 10 with a radius R which has a size that corresponds to 0.16 of the minimum flow diameter Dv of the Venturi cross-sectional constriction 20 of the flow line body 2.
- the sections 7 and 9 form a jump at their transition 28, so that the section 9 does not merge tangentially into the section 7.
- the inner circumferential surface 6 forms flow contact surfaces 17 which, due to the geometric design of the first section 7 of the gas pockets 5, are larger than if the circular arc of the circular section 10 section 9 were continued unchanged to the circumferential surface 6.
- the length t of the inner wall surfaces 8 in the radial direction in the radially outwardly extending section 7 of the gas pockets 5 is in FIG Fig. 3
- the embodiment shown is 5% of the minimum flow diameter Dv of the Venturi cross-sectional constriction 20.
- FIG 5b is a detailed view of an alternative embodiment of the flow guide body 2 is shown, with all features of the embodiment from Figures 1 to 5a are identical except for the ones described below.
- sixteen gas pockets 5 are formed which are uniformly distributed in the circumferential direction and spaced apart from one another and which provide the fuel gas supply opening. The size of each individual gas pocket 5 in the circumferential direction is correspondingly smaller than in the first embodiment.
- Each of the sixteen gas pockets 5 has, starting from the inner circumferential surface 6 of the flow line body 2, a radially outwardly extending section 7 in which the inner wall surfaces 8 of the gas pockets 5 extend over the length t at an angle ⁇ of + 5 ° with respect to the radius r des Flow line body 2 extend radially outward.
- the circular section 10 of the radially outer convex section 9 goes tangentially into the section 7 which extends radially outwardly from the inner circumferential surface 6 over.
- the sum of the flow contact surfaces 17 provided between the gas pockets 5 on the inner circumferential surface 6 forms an enlarged total surface in which the flow is essentially unaffected and the pressure loss is low.
- Fuel gas entry takes place in the air flow adjacent to the flow contact surfaces 17, so that a high degree of mixing is achieved.
- the length t of the inner wall surfaces 8 in the radial direction in the radially outwardly extending section 7 of the gas pockets 5 is in FIG Figure 5b
- the embodiment shown is 8% of the minimum flow diameter Dv of the Venturi cross-sectional constriction 20.

Description
In axialer Längsrichtung, d.h.
- In
- In
