Description

The invention relates to a channel with an end wall for surface drainage.

Zum Abschließen eines solchen Rinnenstranges sind beispielsweise aus derDrainage channels are often laid in very long channels, with these channels having to be closed at the end. To complete such a run of channels, for example, from the

EP 0 542 701 B1 or the DE 35 19 108 A1 Known channels which have pockets or receiving devices at the end into which barrier walls can be inserted. Such arrangements are complex.

From the U.S. 2,701,027 or the US 6,540,437 B1 are known channels that can be provided with end walls, which are held by means of a press fit on the channel. Such fastenings are both complex and unsafe. In addition, there is a problem that channels have different ends, so to speak a tongue and groove end. With these different ends, the gutters can be pinned close together. Depending on which end is to be closed, different end walls must be provided.

Also the DE 10 2005 012 146 A1 and the 2007/177941 A1 show channels or collecting tanks for surface drainage, whereby the DE 10 2005 012 146 A1 represents the closest state of the art. It discloses a channel body with two different channel ends and an end element in the form of an end plate with two sides. A channel end can only be connected to one of the two sides of the end plate; the other end of the channel accordingly only with the other side.

From the EP 1 479 838 B1 an end wall is known, the publication not showing the manner in which the locking elements of the plate elements of the channel are to be formed. In addition, the above-mentioned problem of the different ends of sealing channels is not solved either.

The invention is based on the object of designing a channel with an end wall of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that different channel ends can be closed with one and the same component in an alternative, simple manner. This object is achieved by a channel according to claim 1.

This object is achieved by means of a channel for surface drainage with an end wall, the end wall comprising a plate element which can be fastened to a first and a second end of the channel essentially tightly closing a cross section of the channel, the ends being designed differently, achieved in that the plate element can be fastened with a first edge upwards at the first end and with a second edge upwards at the second end of the channel.

The fact that the end wall has two different cross-sectional adaptations, depending on whether the first or second edge protrudes upwards, can be adapted to the different adaptation needs or to the different cross-sections of the channel. The two surfaces of the end wall thus always remain either an outwardly directed surface which is in contact with the ground in the installed state or an inner surface which faces the interior of the channel.

The two edges could now be at right angles to one another, for example. Then, however, if only two different channel ends have to be adapted, it is preferred that the first edge is opposite the second edge. This results in a simple structure.

The plate element preferably has snap-in hooks or similar fastening devices which can be brought into holding engagement with correspondingly designed counter-elements on the channel. This enables very simple assembly.

These fastening devices are preferably attached to vertical edges of the plate element. This results in a further simplification of the assembly on the construction site.

The fastening devices are preferably attached in pairs at equal distances from the first and the second edge, respectively. The symmetrical structure results in a secure hold.

The plate element preferably comprises an elastic sealing layer, the contour of which is adapted to the first or the second end of the channel. Such a sealing layer can be produced very easily.

The first and / or the second edge of the plate element preferably comprises a step or drive-over reinforcement, so that the durability of the overall arrangement is improved. This step or drive-over reinforcement is then designed in such a way that it ends in a plane with the surface of the channel cover that is usually provided.

The reinforcement is preferably designed as a metal sheet, which improves its durability.

An additional plate element is preferably provided, which is designed such that it can be attached to the first or second end of the channel and can be pressed with the then corresponding free surface onto a side surface of a channel to form a T-piece in a sealing manner. In this case, no end plate is formed, but rather a coupling plate, so to speak.

The invention is thus also defined by a channel kit which comprises at least one channel and two end walls, as described above.

In the following, exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail with reference to figures.

In the following description, the same reference numbers are used for parts that are the same and have the same effect.

Wir verweisen hier insbesondere auf Fig. 3.The ones in the Figs. 1 and 2 The arrangement shown comprises a channel 30 with a first end 31 and a second end 32. The first end 31 has a recess 36 which can receive a projection 37 which is provided at the second end 32. We refer here in particular to Fig. 3 .

The channel 30 has openings 35 on side surfaces 34, to which further channels can be connected, as described below with reference to FIG Fig. 4-7 is described.

End walls 10 are provided in order to close off the interior space of the channels 30 at the end of a channel run. The end wall 10 comprises a plate element 11 which is provided with reinforcing ribs 25 on one surface. Furthermore, snap-in hooks 14, 14 'and 15, 15' are provided on the plate element 11, which can be fastened to counter-elements 33 of the channel 30 in such a way that the plate element 11 or the end wall 10 is provided with a sealing layer 18 (see FIG Fig. 3 ) rests on the first end 31 or on the second end 32 of a channel 30. This sealing layer 18 is therefore applied to a surface of the plate element 11 opposite the reinforcing ribs 25.

The end wall 10 also has a reinforcement 19 on its first edge 12 and a reinforcement 20 on its second edge 13.

The contour of the sealing layer 18 is adapted on its side facing the second edge 12 to the semicircular shape of the projection 37 of the channel 30 (see FIG Fig. 3 Left). The contour of the sealing layer 18 is, on its side facing the first edge 13, shaped accordingly to the contour of the first end 31 of the channel 30, as shown in FIG Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 (right) becomes clear.

Furthermore, the reinforcements 19 and 20 are attached and formed on the plate element 11 in this way (see in particular Fig. 8-10 ) that these reinforcements fit closely to frames and covers 1, which cover the channel 30 upwards (see Fig. 4-7 ). Due to this construction, it is possible to seal a channel 30 tightly at both ends 31 and 32 with one and the same end wall.

The stability, in particular flexural strength of the plate element 11 is - as is particularly evident from the Fig. 8-10 emerges - achieved by reinforcing ribs 25, the crush resistance of the two edges 12 and 13 is achieved by reinforcements 19, 20 made of sheet steel.

The following is based on the Fig. 4-7 , 11 and 12 an “additional” plate element 21 is described which serves to connect a channel 30 with its end face to an opening 35 on a side surface 34 of a further channel 30. This additional plate element 21 now has a reinforcement 20 on a single edge 13 and can have a single pair of snap-in hooks 14, 14 ', since this additional plate element 21 is always in the same Orientation on a channel 30 is attached. Depending on the height of the channel 30, however, it is possible for the plate element 21 to have additional snap-in hooks. In contrast to the first plate element 11, however, the additional plate element 21 has sealing devices on both surfaces. A sealing surface 24 is provided on one surface, which is completely flat and rests on a first end 31 or a second end 32 of a channel 30 when the additional plate element 21 with its snap-in hooks 14, 14 'on the corresponding counter-elements 33 of a channel 30 is attached. Opposite the sealing surface 24 there is provided a sealing bead 22 which surrounds an opening 23 and is designed in such a way that it can be placed in a sealing manner on a side surface 34 of a channel 30 around its opening 35. By means of this arrangement, either right-angled branches or T-connections can be made, as shown in Fig. 5-7 , 10 and 11 are shown.

It emerges from the above that it is considered essential to the invention to design a (single) end wall for adaptation to two different channel ends in such a way that it is adapted to these two different ends of the channel depending on the orientation with a first edge upwards or downwards . This also applies to correspondingly designed snap-in hooks with which the end wall can be attached to the channel.
