A magazine base deviating from the original floor can be provided, for example, for lengthening and enlarging the magazine, for extending the finger contact surface at the lower end of the handle or for integrating a floor cushion, in particular as a case bumper and impact protection for the optionally extended magazine. The change of the entire magazine floor is always associated with the above-described conversion problems.

The object of the invention is now to certain functions of a removable magazine bottom, including bar magazines, namely in particular a padding against shock, without the need to change the magazine floor itself.

The magazine pad can therefore be designed as a universal pad for different types of magazines from different manufacturers. For the weapon magazine, on which the magazine pad is to be used, only a few specifications apply. First and foremost, the floor must be essentially flat. The gun magazine pad provides a very effective shock protection when the magazine falls to the ground. Any bumps on the bottom of the magazine are well cushioned.
