Claims (5)

  1. Holder (1) for an electronic price display unit (2) for attachment to a product carrier (22) with longitudinal and transverse webs (24, 25), at least comprising:
    - a receiving portion (3) for the electronic price display unit (2), having a rear wall (4),
    - a retaining portion (9) which projects from the rear wall (4) and which, for fixing to the transverse web (25), forms a channel (14) with an at least partially circular cross section, said channel extending in the direction of a first longitudinal side (5) and/or of a second longitudinal side (8) of the rear wall (4), characterized
    - in that the retaining portion (9) provides two mutually spaced-apart retaining webs (11, 12) which are configured symmetrically with respect to a longitudinal centre plane (10);
    - in that a first retaining edge (5) which projects forward from the rear wall (4) on a first longitudinal side (6) and a second retaining edge (7) which likewise projects forward on a second longitudinal side (8) which lies opposite the first longitudinal side (6) are configured;
    - in that the retaining portion (9) projects from the rear wall (4) at a fixed angle α of 2° to 30° with respect to a rear wall normal (13) and is configured to fix the holder (1) to the product carrier (22) in a first orientation and in a second orientation which is rotated through 180° with respect to the first orientation.
  2. Holder (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that, on a side of the channel (14), said side lying opposite the abutment portion (3), a cutout (15, 16) is formed on each retaining web (11, 12), wherein a distance (17) between the retaining webs (11, 12) in the region of the cutouts (15, 16), with respect to the longitudinal centre plane (10), is smaller, at least in certain regions, than twice the size of a radius (18) of the at least partially cross-sectionally circular channel (14).
  3. Holder (1) according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that a length of the retaining portion (9), said length being determined in the direction of the longitudinal centre plane, is at least twice as large as a distance determined transversely thereto.
  4. Holder (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that shoulder bevels (20, 21) which are remote from one another are formed on the retaining webs (11, 12) at a free end which is remote from the receiving portion (3).
  5. Product carrier unit (100) having at least:
    - a holder (1) according to one of the preceding claims and
    - a product carrier (22), which has at least one fixing portion (26) for fastening to a shelf rear wall (30) and has a longitudinal web (24) which projects therefrom and which, at a free end, has a transverse web (25) for the fixing of the holder (1), wherein the longitudinal web (24), proceeding from the fixing portion (26), is arranged such that it rises at an angle β with respect to the horizontal longitudinal centre plane (10);
    wherein both the angle α on the holder (1) and the angle β on the product carrier (22) are in each case between 2° and 10° and wherein, in a first orientation, the rear wall (4) of the holder (1) which is fastened to the product carrier (22) assumes a viewing angle of (90°-(α + β)) = 70° to 86° with respect to the horizontal longitudinal centre plane (10) and, in a second orientation, when the holder (19) is fastened to the product carrier (22), assumes a viewing angle of (90°-(α - β)) = 98° to 82°.
