- A method for changing a heating or air conditioning apparatus mounted on a surface (S), comprising the steps consisting of:- disassembling the heating or air conditioning apparatus from the surface (S),- fixing a new heating or air conditioning apparatus or its support (30) by using at least one fixing device (1; 1'; 11, 21; 38), an anchoring hole (4; 4'; 14; 24) being formed in each fixing device (1; 1'; 11, 21; 38) for the fixing of the fixing device (1; 1'; 11, 21; 38) on the surface (S), each fixing device (1; 1'; 11, 21; 38) further bearing a coupling means (3; 3'; 13; 25) configured to be coupled with a complementary means borne by one of the heating or air conditioning apparatus and its support (30), the new heating or air conditioning apparatus or its support (30) being fixed, without drilling a new hole (37) in the surface (S), by fixing each attachment means of the new heating or air conditioning apparatus or its support to a hole (37) already formed in the surface (S) either directly, or by means of one of at least one fixing device (1; 1'; 11, 21; 38) when the attachment means of the new heating or air conditioning apparatus or its support is not aligned with a hole (37) already formed in the surface.
