Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to the technical field concerning the mounting identifying and/or decorative elements, for example a string or matrix of graphic elements such as characters, symbols, logos, decorations, etc., on a two-dimensional prevalent development body such as a fabric, leather, hide, paper derivatives, plastic and synthetic materials, and other products for the production of clothing, clothing accessories and other goods.
- It is common to apply elements, for example characters and/or logo of a brand or décor, on a clothing article, belt, bag or other accessory or leather goods in fabric, non-woven fabric, leather or hide and their substitutes, plastic sheets, cardboard or metal and the like.
- These sets of graphic elements, generally applied as string or matrix, are usually applied by means of adhesives, sewing or by riveting or punching.
- These methods of fixing the elements take a long time and are subject to mistakes in the composition of the elements and their positioning, with the risk of applying incorrect or irregularly arranged text.
- To facilitate its application, the graphic elements can be made, arranged in their definitive configuration, in a single body with a frame joining them through frangible bridges. The element faces fit for matching with the body can each have one or more protruding nails or feet designed to pass through the body to engage into corresponding seats formed in locking means corresponding to the elements and mutually connected by frangible joints, for example, also as frangible bridges. When the feet pass through the body and are inserted into the corresponding seats of the locking means, they are riveted so as to definitively fix the assembly.
- After application, each element is separated from other elements and from disposable frame and at the same time the locking means are mutually disconnected by breaking the bridges or fracturing links.
- The known presses allow the application of these elements by means of opposed supports for the elements joined by frames and by block means.
- The body is placed between the supports approached by the press by nailing of the elements to the support means between which fabric or other body is interposed.
- Such known presses allow to speed up the work but have the disadvantage of a limited application flexibility, for example they do not allow the application of elements made of different materials or colors or finishes.
- Another disadvantage of such known presses is the complexity of the operations that the operator must perform in order to correctly position the elements and the corresponding block means.
- Another disadvantage of the known presses is the risk of deformation of the graphic elements due to their incorrect detachment.
- An object of the present invention is to propose a device for fixing elements on a body that allows to apply on this body non-homogeneous elements or of different nature, color and/or materials.
- A further object of the present invention is to propose a device which allows to fix in an efficient manner, even in case of small or medium productions, both homogeneous elements, or carried out with the same material and having the same color and surface treatment, and non-homogeneous elements.
- A further object of the present invention is to propose a device fit for preventing damage to elements and to separate them perfectly from the respective frame.

first set 101, with the link means 108 facing the outside of separation and housing means 3, in contact with the outer edge ofcavities 19 of slidingmeans 17 locked in a protruding condition from base means 11; the subsequent approaching of shear means 5 until the sliding of itspunches 21 intocavities 19 causes the detachment ofelements 105 from therespective frame 107 and their entrance into the cavities. Ifelements 105 offirst set 101 were connected toframe 107 and also among them by means of respective bridges or iffirst set 101 consisted ofonly elements 105, connected each other by respective bridges and without the frame, the cooperation between the slidingmeans 17 and the shear means 5 would in any case be able to obtain the separation ofelements 105 and the entrance of each of them into therespective cavity 19. - In a fixing condition of
elements 105 offirst set 101 to body C, the latter is interposed between the separation and housing means 3 carrying elements and the facing mesh means 7 carrying the corresponding block means 112 and wherein the slidingmeans 17 is elastically protruding and free to slide with respect to the base means 11, the approaching of mesh means 7 causes the passage of body C by link means 108 ofelements 105 and the engagement and blocking of said link means 108 inseats 113 of block means 112 obtaining the fixing ofelements 105 to body C. - The shear means 5 has parallelepiped shape, from a face thereof is protruding a
first connection 27 for a movable upper plane of a first press PI and from whose opposite face are protruding thepunches 21. - Each
punch 21 is provided with housing means 23 for link means 108 ofrespective element 105. - The shear means 5 is provided with a plurality of clamping means 25, for example consisting of pins projecting towards the separation and housing means 3 and elastically pushed towards the latter 3 by respective compressed helical springs. These clamping means 25 are designed to press and lock the
frame 107 against slidingmeans 17 of the separation and housing means 3 during the separation condition. - The base means 11 is parallelepiped shaped from a face thereof are protruding
supports 13, the free end of each of which 13 is preferably shaped in approximately complementary manner to the portion of thecorresponding element 105 opposite to respective link means 108. - The mesh means 7 is parallelepiped shaped from a face thereof is protruding a
second connection 35 for a movable plane of second press P2 and whose opposite face has arecess 37 shaped in a complementary manner to the plan shape ofsecond set 111 for accommodating, at least partially, the block means 112. - The mesh means 7 is also provided with a set of elastic removable arrest means 39 each bearing a
slider 41 sliding in the direction ofrecess 37 and elastically pressed towards it 37 to match and press an edge ofsecond set 111, elastically and removably retaining it inrecess 37. - The shaped
recess 37 of mesh means 7, in correspondence ofseat 113 of each block means 112 ofsecond set 111 has a riveting means 38 designed to deform and/or block a corresponding link means 108 of arespective element 105 securing it to the corresponding block means 112. - The movement of the shear means 5 towards the separation and housing means 3 can be carried out by means of first light PI press, for example by manual or pneumatic operation.
- The movement of the mesh means 7 towards the separation and housing means 3 can be achieved by means of second press P2, for example of toggle type with manual, pneumatic or hydraulic operation.
- In this case the empty separation and housing means 3 must be positioned in the first press PI, for example on its fixed plane and, after being loaded with
elements 105, must be moved and positioned, for example, onto fixed plane of second press P2; for this purpose, first removable link means 45 and second removable link means 47 are provided. - Each of removable link means, first 45 and second 47, has a parallelepiped shape, from a face thereof a respective connection, third 49 and fourth 51, protrudes respectively for a fixed plane and/or lower plane of first and second press and whose opposite face has a plurality of first positioning means 53, 55, for example each consisting of a pair of protruding hemispheres, complementary to corresponding second positioning means 57, for example consisting of two semispherical cavities complementary to the first positioning means, obtained in or attached to the face of the base means 11 opposite to its
supports 13. This configuration allows a fast and precise displacement and positioning of the separation means andhousing 3. - The second removable connection means 47 are provided with
hollows 59 for free sliding of the guide means 33 fixed to the sliding means 17 while the first removable link means 45 block this sliding; the first removable link means 45 are fixed to a plane of the first press whose facing plane carries the shear means 5, the second removable link means 47 are fixed to a plane of the second press, the plane of which faces the mesh means 7 and said first 45 and second 47 removable link means are fit for receiving and releasing the separation and housing means 3 for placing the latter 3 precisely in the first or second press. - Obviously the invention provides possible alternatives to first 45 and second 47 removable link means and to the use of two presses which must be understood only as an example.
- The sliding means 17 has at least two
receptacles complementary passages - It should be noted that among other advantages, the
device 1 allows to make applications on body of elements in different materials and/or colors. - The invention further provides that the elements can be positioned manually, one by one, in cavities of separation means and
housing 3, realizing a sort of hand composition so allowing to carry out applications with a different combination of elements for each body. - By way of example, the parts of the device may be made of steel and machined and/or formed by electro-erosion or 3D printing, for example of a laser-fusion type of metallic powder with an incremental supply.
