  • the liquid separated within the separating chamber 26 can reach the dirty liquid tank 20 via the outlet funnel 74, the filling trough 112 and the filling pipe 108.
  • the dirty liquid tank 20 can be separated from the housing 12 for emptying.
  • the user can grasp the dirty liquid tank 20 by hand and first remove the second tank area 100 from the second tank storage compartment 86 and then the first tank area 98 from the first tank storage compartment 76.
  • the user can then separate the filling device 106 from the dirty liquid tank 20 and empty it.
  • the user can reconnect the filling device 106 to the dirty liquid tank 20 and then fix it again to the housing 12, first inserting the first tank area 98 into the first tank receiving compartment 76 and then inserting the second tank area 100 into the second tank receiving compartment 86.
  • the filling trough 112 of the filling device 106 assumes a position on the outlet funnel 74, with the sealing element 114 ensuring a liquid-tight connection between the outlet funnel 74 and the filling trough 112.
  • the provision of the latching connection between the second tank area 100 and the second tank receiving compartment 86 and the abutment of the stop surface 130 on the stop collar 132 ensures that the dirty liquid tank 20 is reliably held on the housing.
  • the portable hard surface cleaning device 10 has a gripping opening 164 between the handle 70 and the dirty liquid tank 20, which the user can grip through with his fingers . This facilitates the handling of the hard surface cleaning device 10.
