Abstract
Description
- The present invention refers to a door locking device with a household apparatus.
- Known door locking devices with household apparatuses in principle lock the door by means of a mechanism built in the door having a locking element that engages the counter-locking element on the household apparatus. In addition, embodiments are known where said mechanism is built in the household apparatus, where the locking element engages the counter-locking element in the door. Thus, for instance, said mechanical locks with the household apparatuses have been disclosed by publication of the documents
EP2369101 A1 ,EP2851492 A1 ,EP2636957 A1 ,EP2532973 A1 . All the solutions, however, share a common problem i.e. how to disable the door locking device in case the user does not want for the door to be locked. It is proposed according to some known solutions for the user to reach into the apparatus and unscrew the locking device, forcing the user to unnecessarily use complex knowledge and tools. - It is the object of the present invention to create a door locking device with a household apparatus which remedies drawbacks of the known solutions.
- According to the present invention, the object as set above is solved by features set forth in the characterising part of

- A
door locking device 1 according to the invention is fixed to a ceiling of the household apparatus, in particular to aceiling 2 of the oven, in immediate vicinity of adoor 3 that closes the interior of the oven. Saiddevice 1 is comprised of a fixedholding element 4, amovable locking element 5 and aresilient means 6 arranged in-between. Said fixedholding element 4 is formed in the present embodiment as a flat rectangular prism having a plurality of through-holes 7 to facilitate fixing to theceiling 2 of the oven. Further, theholding element 4 is formed approximately in the central region thereof with athrough hole 8 for receiving saidmovable locking element 5 and for cooperating therewith. Thefixed locking element 4 is formed at the side facing themovable locking element 5 with acylindrical wall 9 which surrounds said through-hole 8. Furthermore, thefixed locking element 4 is formed at the first side of thecylindrical wall 9 with afirst projection 10, and is formed at the approximately diametrically opposed side of thecylindrical wall 9 with anadditional projection 11. Yet further, thefixed locking element 4 is formed with an arc-shaped channel 12 which extends form the area of theadditional projection 11 over the larger arc of a circle towards saidfirst projection 10 in the range of approximately 90°. - Said
movable locking element 5, which is formed in the present embodiment as a flat element, comprises acentral section 13 with approximately centrally placedcylindrical protrusion 14 provided for the cooperation with said through-hole 8 and thecylindrical wall 9 of the fixedlocking element 4. Saidcylindrical protrusion 14 comprises at its free end at least one radially extendingprojection 15 which is intended to engage the edge of the through-hole 8 when thelocking elements elements movable locking element 5 is formed at the first side of thecylindrical protrusion 14 with aprojection 16 and with an arc-shaped channel 17 which extends in the direction away from the area ofsaid projection 16 in the vicinity of thecylindrical protrusion 14 in the range of approximately 90°. Yet further, a hook shapedsection 18 is associated via an inclination 13' with thecentral section 13, said hook shapedsection 18 being formed at the free end thereof with agrip section 19 and ahook 20 provided for a locking cooperation with a counter-locking means 21 arranged at the edge of thedoor 3. - The
movable locking element 5 is provided in the region of the transition from thecentral section 13 and via said inclination 13' to the hookshaped section 18 with a depression 22 provided for cooperation with thefirst projection 10 of the fixedlocking element 4. Saidresilient means 6 is arranged between the fixedlocking element 4 and themovable locking element 5, which forcibly holds saidelements - The basic position of the
door locking device 1 with the household apparatus is the locking position, that is when thedoor 3 of the household apparatus is closed and the counter locking means 21 is engaged with thehook 20 of themovable locking element 5. Saidprojections shaped channels additional projection 11 of thefixed locking element 4, when thedevice 1 assembled, is constantly located in the arc-shaped channel 17 of themovable locking element 5, and that theprojection 16 of themovable locking element 5 is constantly located in the arc-shaped channel 12 of thefixed locking element 4. - Moreover, it is provided for according to the present invention that said
projections resilient means 6. With the present embodiment, the first end of thetorsional spring 6 cooperates with a vertical surface of theadditional projection 11 of thefixed locking element 4, whereas the opposite end of thetorsional spring 6 cooperates with a vertical surface of theprojection 16 of themovable locking element 5. In this manner, saidtorsional spring 6 is pre-stressed between theprojections elements - When the
door 3 needs to be open thegrip section 19 of the hook shaped section is operated causing themovable locking element 5 to rotate about the rotating axis formed by the centre line of the through-hole 9 and, respectively, thecylindrical protrusion 14. Said first rotation of themovable locking element 5 typically amounts to about 30°. As a result, thehook 20 is moved from the engagement with the counter locking means 21. Each saidprojection 11; 16 slides over each opposite arc-shaped channel 12; 17 resulting in a reliable guidance of thelocking elements door 3 of the household apparatus are now ready to be opened. Immediately upon the release of thegrip section 19 themovable locking element 5 returns into its original position due to the elastic action of theresilient means 6. - When the
door 3locking device 1 is not intended to be used, themovable locking element 5 is rotated by operating saidgrip section 9 about the the rotating axis formed by the centre line of the through-hole 9 and, respectively, thecylindrical protrusion 14, the angle of the second rotation being greater than said angle of said first rotation. Said second rotation of themovable locking element 5 typically amounts to about 90°. At the same time, each saidprojection 11; 16 slides over each opposite arc-shaped channel 12; 17,resulting in a reliable guidance of thelocking elements movable locking element 5 approaches its end position, that is when it is approximately aligned with the upper edge of thedoor 3, said inclination 13' engages saidfirst projection 10 of the fixedlocking element 4. Further rotation of themovable locking element 5 causes said inclination 13' to slides over saidfirst projection 10, which at that moment engages said depression 22 and snap-in locks therein. Thus, themovable locking element 5 is locked in the position which is generally hidden to the user. In order to return themovable locking element 5 in its basic position, thegrip section 19 is operated simultaneously in the direction approximately perpendicular to the plane of saidceiling 2 of the household apparatus and in the rotational direction of theelement 5. As a result, saidfirst projection 10 disengages said depression 22, thegrip section 19 can be released, and theresilient means 6 returns themovable locking element 5 in its start, locking position.
