Description
- The present invention relates to the footwear used by people in their daily lives.
- The invention is particularly related to a skid-proof, water-resistant footwear, that can be worn in the sea, on the sand, at the pool, at home, having a light, flexible structure, enveloping the foot and contributing to the foot-health by air intake, which does not transmit heat by means of a heat barrier and which can dry in a short time.
- People use diverse footwear in their daily lives. While comfortable casual footwear is used at home, more resistant ones are used outdoors.
- Document
US 5 617 585 A discloses beach footwear comprising a multilayer upper, a rubber sole and an elastic cuff that secures the footwear around the foot. - An important proportion of foot problems arise due to the selection of shoes. A conscious choice of shoes may prevent some health problems that may occur during the life cycle.
- Primarily, care must be taken to choose shoes that are suitable to the shape of the foot. Randomly bought shoes thinking that "it expands later", have a negative impact on the foot health. Step defect of some shoes, may cause such problems as ingrown toenails, athlete's foot, calluses, deformities in the fingers, fatigue, ankle sprains, foot, leg and back pain.
- If people fall while walking on wet ground at the sea side and the pool side, a variety of injuries and accidents occurs.
- In case of walking bare-foot in the sea, such adverse experiences as the result of burning feet on hot sand, and slipping in the sea are seen. Various aqua shoes are being used.
- Numerous problems are experienced, such as uncomfortable feet, failure to easily remove, burning of feet on hot sand, failure to prevent foot slippage in the sea.
- At the pools, the risks of foot slippage and falling down on wet ground are frequently experienced. Therefore, there is a need for easy-to-wear footwear of a skid-proof structure.
- In the Patent application No.
CN202664382 , Code A43B13/14 IPC, a fishing shoe is described. There is a need for footwear that can be worn comfortably in the sea and pool. - The patent application
US5617585 discloses a footwear that can be used on sand, at the pool and/or home; however, it cannot prevent the intrusion of foreign environmental agents and/or prevent from external bacterial affections. - On the basis of the state of the art, the object of the invention is to develop a skid-proof, heat blocking, i.e. adiabatic footwear wherein the adverse points seen in the presently available products are eliminated and which is used at the sea, at the pool, and in the daily life, and contributes to the foot health as well.
- A further object of the invention is to develop footwear that avoids a slip and fall on wet grounds.
- Yet another object of the invention is to prevent the intrusion of foreign substances by the tight fit of the cuff.
- Another object of the invention is to prevent the toes from being affected by the harsh outdoor environment, by forming a protective element around the cuff portion and the footwear.
- Another object of the invention is to provide footwear that is easy to wear and to remove, flexible, with air intake and that dries in a short time.
- Another object of the invention is to provide footwear that isolates the heat in order to protect the feet while walking on hot sand.
- Another object of the invention is to provide footwear which contributes to the foot health and protects the feet on wet and hot grounds.
- Another object of the invention is to propose footwear that contributes to walking when worn by the children.
- Another object of the invention is to provide footwear with an antibacterial, hypoallergenic, UV protective structure.
- To achieve the above mentioned objects, footwear that contributes to the foot health and prevents the feet from being affected on wet and hot grounds, is developed, as disclosed in the appended claims.

- Footwear (1) that can be used at the sea, at the pool, at home, which does not transmit heat due to a heat barrier, is water-resistant, wraps the foot by its slightly flexible structure, contributes to foot health by air-intake, and can dry in a short time, has been developed.
- As illustrated in the Figures, the footwear (1) consists of a cuff portion (2), an upper portion (3), a sole (4), air passages (5), UV layers (6), antibacterial layers (7), flexible layers (8), skid-proof layers (9), heat isolating layers (10), foot inlet (11), flexible tight passage (12).
- Air passages (5) on the Tough tech sole (4) and/or upper portion (3), UV layers (6), antibacterial layers (7), flexible layers (8), skid-proof layers (9), heat isolation layers (10), have been formed as a whole in the fabric or substrate.
- The movement of the foot is not hindered through the upper portion (3) and the cuff portion (2) that is firmly wrapped around the foot. It provides ease-of-use while swimming in the sea. It does not create a problem when worn in the flippers or in different marine accessories.
- Thanks to the footwear (1) that is formed using a quick-drying, breathing fabric, a contribution to the foot health is provided. It completely wraps the foot by its antibacterial, hypoallergenic, UV resistant, elastic cuff (2) portion. The Tough tech sole (4), is of an easy-wear-and-remove structure. It furthermore provides a safe use through its elasticized cuff (2) portion which prevents foreign bodies entering the feet.
- This product can be used in such living spaces as home, school, playground, gym, garden (lawn), pool, sea, sand, bath, boat, etc.
- It can be worn in the flippers and slippers, you can easily swim with it in the pool and sea. It increases the mobility of the foot.
- As it has a net contact with the ground, it is particularly healthy to use for the newly developing feet of the children of the 0-2 age group. It does not disrupt the orthopaedic structure of the foot, it allows contact with the ground. It contributes to the prevention of many feet diseases because of the net contact with the ground.
- In order to develop the footwear (1) that can be used on the sand, at the pool, at home, which are not effected by heat, and are skid-proof on wet grounds, a footwear (1) comprising at least one of such layers as air passages (5) on the sole (4) and/or upper portion (3) providing air-intake, UV layers (6) protecting the feet against the sun beams, antibacterial layers (7) to prevent the intrusion of harmful bacteria in the external environment, flexible layers (8) that adapt to the movement of the foot, anti-skid layers (9) allowing walking on wet grounds, thermal insulation layers (10) ensuring that the feet are not affected by heat in a hot environment, has been provided.
- The upper portion (3), developed from a quick-drying, breathing fabric of a structure that is flexible, shrinkable and wrapping the foot, comprises a cuff portion (2) tightly surrounding the foot above the upper portion (3).
- It comprises a flexible tight passage (12) that ensures a flexible and firm grip above the foot inlet (11) at the cuff portion (2). A tough tech sole (4) is formed. A foot inlet (11) facilitating walking in the sea, at the pool and on the sand, with a tight and shrinkable structure that makes it easy to wear and remove, is provided. Below the elasticated flexible, long or short flexible tight passage (12), exists the upper portion (3) wrapping the foot by its flexible structure and in connection with the upper portion (3), the sole (4) with a flat or heeled structure, enabling to step on the ground.
- It consists of an upper portion (3) that is slip-proof, adiabatic due to its heat barrier, water-resistant, slightly flexible, wrapping the foot, with a quick-dry nature and a sole (4).
- Furthermore, it comprises a protective element (13) surrounding the footwear (1) and/or at the cuff portion (2) in order to protect the toes from being affected by external factors by avoiding their outwards protrusion.
- By means of the developed footwear (1), foot health is being contributed. It prevents the foot from being affected by external factors. Because of its structure that is suitable to the foot-structure, it grips the foot and affects positively the mobility of the foot. The prevention of possible accidents and injuries is ensured. The upper portion (3) may be patterned and formed with different alternatives. It increases the ability to walk on wet grounds, at high temperature, thus preventing the foot from being affected by adverse external influences. It contributes to the mobility of the foot at sea and pool environments.
- The bottom surface of the footwear (1) is designed to improve safety on wet and slippery surfaces such as pool sides and is coated with a special material that provides protection against slipping.
- The footwear (1) prevents the burning of the feet on hot surfaces and provides protection against insect bites, cuts and bruises on such surfaces as lawns and beach areas.
- The footwear (1), with its thin base and swimsuit combination, is a technical product that offers its users flexibility and security during water activities. As you will not need to remove it after it is soaked, thanks to its quick drying feature under the sun, your and your child's user-comfort is improved.

Claims (6)
- Beach footwear, wherein the footwear (1) comprises an upper portion (3), a cuff portion (2) tightly surrounding the foot above the upper portion (3) and a sole (4), that are skid-proof on wet grounds, a footwear (1) comprising air passages (5) on the sole (4) and/or the upper portion (3) providing air-intake, and also anti-skid layers (9) for walking on wet grounds, and flexible layers (8) that adapt to the movement of the foot; and comprising a thermal insulation layer (10) ensuring that the feet is not affected by heat in a hot environment; and it is characterized in that
it comprises at least an UV layer (6) protecting the feet against the sun beams; an antibacterial layer (7) to prevent the intrusion of harmful bacteria in the external environment; and it also comprises a protective element (13) surrounding the footwear (1) and/or at the cuff portion (2) for protecting the toes. - A footwear (1) according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises an upper portion (3), produced from a quick-drying, breathing fabric of a structure that is flexible, shrinkable and wrapping the foot.
- A footwear (1) according to any one of the above claims characterized in that it comprises a flexible tight passage (12) that ensures a flexible and firm grip above the foot inlet (11) at the cuff portion (2).
- A footwear (1) according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises a sole (4) which is 100% Polyester coated with Neoprene rubber.
- A footwear (1) according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises;- an upper portion (3) wrapping the foot by its flexible structure below the elasticated flexible, long or short flexible tight passage (12),- in connection with the upper portion (3), a sole (4) with a flat or heeled structure, enabling to step on the ground.
- A footwear (1) according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises a cuff portion (2), in the form of a sock.
