Nachdem der jeweilige Kontaktpartner 4 in seiner zugehörigen Kontaktkammer des Kontaktträgers 2 lagefixiert wurde (insbesondere mittels einer Primärverriegelung, beispielsweise mit einer Lasche des Kontaktpartners 4, die sich an einer entsprechenden Geometrie der Kontaktkammer abstützt), wird diese Baueinheit in ein Spritzgusswerkzeug eingesetzt. Dabei fährt ein Teil des Spritzgusswerkzeuges in den Freibereich 5 ein und kommt an der Kontaktstelle 6 zur Anlage. Anschließend wird der Innenbereich des Spritzgusswerkzeuges mit Spritzgussmaterial ausgefüllt, wodurch die beispielhaft gezeigte Form der Umspritzung 3 gebildet wird. Nachdem das Spritzgussmaterial ausgehärtet ist wird das Spritzgusswerkzeug entfernt und der fertige Steckverbinder 1 ist für seinen Einsatz bereit. Die so gewonnene Baugruppe wird anschließend in ein Umspritzungswerkzeug eingelegt, wobei Werkzeugeinsätze im Bereich der Schweißverbindung so auf das Einlegeteil abgestimmt sind, dass eine Abdichtung gegen das Spritzmaterial gewährleistet ist, damit dieses nicht in den Funktionsbereich des Buchsenkontaktes vordringen kann. Die Erfindung betrifft somit einen nicht-beanspruchten Buchsenträger, welcher mit Buchsenkontakten bestückt wird, wobei ein Stanzgitter über zum Beispiel eine Schweißverbindung (alternativ Lötverbindung) mit dem Buchsenkontakt verbunden wird, und die so gewonnene Baugruppe anschließend in ein Umspritzungswerkzeug eingelegt wird, wobei Werkzeugeinsätze im Bereich der Schweißverbindung so auf das Einlegeteil abgestimmt sind, dass eine Abdichtung gegen das Spritzmaterial gewährleistet ist, damit dieses nicht in den Funktionsbereich des Buchsenkontaktes vordringen kann.In other words, the concept according to the invention consists of a socket carrier (= contact carrier) which is equipped with socket contacts (= contact partners).
