  • FIG. 5 shows an embodiment of a storage device, where the tapering angle is indicated as the angle ⁇ between an axis through the centre of the storage device and extending from the first end to the second end and the outer periphery of the storage device. Where a stepwise tapering is provided the angle is measured at the tapered portion and where a non-linear, continuous or stepwise, tapering is provided the angle is measured at a particular point of the surface of the storage device.
  • FIG. 6 shows embodiments of the storage device with holding devices provided at the surface of the storage device.
  • FIG. 6A shows an embodiment where a hook 6, preferably a plastics hook, attached to the outer surface of the storage device. The hook serves the purpose of hanging the storage device on a paint container or the like. When hanging on a paint container the relationship between the paint and the brush is easier manageable.
  • FIG. 6B shows an embodiment of the storage device, where double action adhesive tape 7 is used as a holding device.
  • An adhesive tape or various types of releasable adhesives may in addition to the easier manageable relationship between brush and paint provide the safety of maintaining the position storage device in a more firm manner.
  • FIGS. 7A and 7B the same embodiments as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B are depicted with paint brush A inserted into the storage device.
  • Such brush normally comprises a handle B, a brush head C with hair/bristles D.
  • the inside surface of the storage device will fit tight towards the circumferential surface/periphery of the brush head C and the brush hair D will be forced slightly towards each other due to the tapering of the storage device 1.
  • FIG. 8 a continuous series 8 of storage devices is shown.
  • the welding area 11 preferably comprises two welding lines 11',11" and a separation line 12 between these.
  • the separation line may be a simple perforation line.
  • the welding lines and separation lines may be linear as shown in FIG. 8B or partly linear as shown in FIG. 8C .
  • Other shapes of welding lines are also possible, such as curved which will provide storage devices as illustrated in fig. 3a .
  • the reinforcement 3 illustrated in a number of the embodiments is not mandatory.
  • the invention performs almost equally well without this rigid portion 3. It is clear that the extra production step of providing the rigid section makes the storage device more expensive.
  • the storage device is hence also contemplated without the rigid section.
  • a skilled person will select the material from which to manufacture the storage device with due respect to the manufacturing process (for example use a plastic film comprising a weldable layer if the storage devices are to be manufactured in a process involving welding). The same is true with respect to the types of paint that are usuable with the storage device. For some paints special chemical resistant layers shall be provided in the plastic film.

Claims (11)

  1. Dispositif de rangement (1) pour un pinceau en cours d'utilisation (B), le dispositif de rangement (1) comprenant un récipient en plastique souple (2) ayant une cavité interne (24) délimitée par un film plastique souple comprenant une face interne et une face externe, dans lequel la cavité interne (24) du récipient en plastique comprend une section effilée (26, 28, 30) entre une première extrémité ouverte plus large (20) en direction d'une seconde extrémité fermée plus étroite (4, 22) et dans lequel la section effilée (26, 28, 30) sur la face interne a une dimension qui permet, lors de l'utilisation, un ajustement avec une ou plusieurs tailles différentes de têtes de pinceaux et caractérisé en ce que le film plastique souple est conçu pour permettre un ajustement parfait avec la tête de pinceau et fournir une résistance au frottement empêchant le mouvement de la tête de pinceau.
  2. Dispositif de rangement selon la revendication 1, dans lequel deux sections effilées ou plus (26, 28, 30) sont prévues, chaque section effilée (26, 28, 30) ayant des dimensions différentes entre la première extrémité (20) et la seconde extrémité (4), ou dans lequel la conicité (32) est non linéaire entre la première extrémité et la seconde extrémité (20, 4).
  3. Dispositif de rangement selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel un matériau plus rigide (3) est prévu à la première extrémité (20) du dispositif de rangement (1), par exemple au moins partiellement ou totalement le long de la circonférence de la première extrémité (20).
  4. Dispositif de rangement selon la revendication 1, dans lequel une ligne de déchirure (5) est prévue dans le dispositif de rangement (1) permettant la séparation du dispositif de rangement entre la première extrémité (20) et la seconde extrémité (4).
  5. Dispositif de rangement selon la revendication 1, dans lequel le dispositif de rangement (1) est fabriqué à partir d'un matériau résistant aux solvants et aux produits chimiques.
  6. Dispositif de rangement selon la revendication 1, dans lequel des moyens (6,7) sont prévus sur le dispositif de rangement (1), pour suspendre ou fixer le dispositif de rangement (1) sur un autre objet.
  7. Dispositif de rangement selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans lequel la section effilée a un angle effilé a, compris entre 10 degrés et 40 degrés.
  8. Ensemble de dispositifs de rangement comprenant une pluralité de dispositifs de rangement (1) selon la revendication 1, dans lequel des dispositifs de rangement de différentes tailles sont adaptés pour être utilisés avec différentes tailles de pinceaux et dans lequel une indication de taille est fournie sur chaque dispositif de rangement.
  9. Ensemble de dispositifs de rangement selon la revendication 8, dans lequel l'indication de taille peut être un nombre, une couleur ou un signe.
  10. Procédé d'utilisation d'un dispositif de rangement (1) pour un pinceau en cours d'utilisation, le dispositif de rangement (1) comprenant un récipient en plastique souple ayant une cavité interne (24) délimitée par un film plastique souple comprenant une face interne et une face externe, dans lequel la cavité interne (24) du récipient en plastique (1) comprend une section effilée (26, 28, 30) entre une première extrémité ouverte plus large (20) en direction d'une seconde extrémité fermée plus étroite (4) et dans lequel la section effilée (26, 28, 30) sur la face interne a une dimension qui, en cours d'utilisation, permet un ajustement parfait avec une ou plusieurs tailles de têtes de pinceaux,
    caractérisé en ce que le film plastique souple est conçu pour permettre un ajustement parfait avec la tête de pinceau et fournir une résistance au frottement empêchant le mouvement de la tête de pinceau.

Procédé selon la revendication 10, dans lequel le dispositif de rangement (1) est pourvu d'une ligne de déchirure (5) permettant la séparation du dispositif de rangement (1) entre la première extrémité (20) et la seconde extrémité (4), de sorte que, lorsque le pinceau doit être réutilisé, soit le dispositif de rangement (1) est séparé en deux le long de la ligne de déchirure (5), exposant ainsi les poils du pinceau, soit le pinceau est retiré de la cavité (24).
