Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to packaging for a cosmetic of the type specified in the preamble of the first claim.
- In particular, the present invention relates to packaging for a cosmetic suitable for placing a powdered cosmetic, such as, for example, face powder, foundation, blusher, bronzing powder, eyeshadow, talcum powder, dusting-powders on a skin surface.
- Cosmetic devices are known in the current state-of-the-art, used, in particular, for preserving and placing powdered cosmetics.
- Powdered cosmetics are substantially divided into loose, compact, cooked and extruded.
- Loose powders are generally arranged and kept inside simple containers suitable for being opened or closed again by means of friction or screwing and they are such as to allow a brush to reach the powders. Once the brush has been impregnated with cosmetic powder, it can deposit the product on the skin. An example of this type is represented by loose face powder.
- Alternatively, the dispersed powders can be put into pressurized bottles similar to ordinary bottles, as in the case of talcum powder.
- Conceptually, compact powders are similar to loose powders, with the difference that they are compacted by pressure and often, pigmented.
- An example of this type is represented by the classical face powders and eyeshadows, which can be found in containers similar to watercolors.
- The described prior art comprises a number of important drawbacks.
- In particular, the cosmetic devices used for keeping powdered cosmetics are often susceptible to breakage, or open easily when placed, for example, inside a user's bag.
- Moreover, the fact of containing loose or compacted powders inevitably leads to the product being dispersed in the bag and soiling everything present therein.
- Thus, an important drawback is given by the dispersion of the cosmetic product therein.
- A further drawback deriving from the previous one is represented by damage caused to objects adjacent to the packaging for a cosmetic of the prior art put back, for example, inside a bag.
- In conclusion, a further drawback derives from the fact that, also after normal use, the cosmetic product tends to become dispersed and soil objects adjacent to the container of the prior art.
- In order to overcome said drawbacks, packaging has been developed, described in patent applications
US 2008/0276956 A1 ,JP11-290121 WO 2012/074329 A2 describing compacted powdered cosmetics, which can be crushed by means of a special device. However, such devices are not easy to use. - In this situation, the technical task underlying the present invention is to develop packaging for a cosmetic capable of substantially overcoming at least part of the stated drawbacks.
- In the scope of said technical task, it is an important object of the invention to obtain packaging for a cosmetic, which guarantees a reduction in the dispersion of powdered cosmetics after normal use.
- Another important object of the invention is to realize packaging for a cosmetic, which is simple and practical to use.
- A further important object of the invention is to realize packaging for a cosmetic, which, if put back into a bag, prevents the objects adjacent thereto from being damaged, stained or soiled.
- In conclusion, a further task of the invention is to realize packaging for a cosmetic, which allows the powdered cosmetic to be preserved, also in the event of the case of the cosmetic packaging breaking.
- The technical task and specified objects are achieved by means of packaging for a cosmetic, as claimed in the appended independent claims.
- Preferred embodiments are highlighted in the dependent claims.
- The characteristics and advantages of the invention are clarified below by the detailed description of preferred embodiments of the invention, with reference to the accompanying drawings, wherein:
-
Fig. 1 shows the packaging for a cosmetic according to the invention; -
Fig. 2 illustrates an exploded perspective view of the packaging for a cosmetic; -
Fig. 3a is a frontal section of the packaging with the cosmetic inside; -
Fig. 3b is a frontal section of the packaging without the cosmetic inside; and -
Fig. 4 shows an exploded view of the frontal section of the packaging. - In this document, when measurements, values, shapes and geometrical references (such as perpendicularity and parallelism) are associated with words, such as "approximately" or other similar terms, for example "practically" or "substantially", they are to be understood as without errors of measurement or inaccuracies resulting from production and/or manufacturing errors and, above all, without a slight divergence from the value, measurement, shape or geometrical reference with which it is associated. For example, if said terms are associated with a value, they preferably indicate a divergence of no more than 10% of the same value.
- Furthermore, when terms such as "first", "second", "greater", "lower", "principal" and "secondary" are used, they do not necessarily identify an order, a relationship priority or relative position, but they may simply be used to distinguish different components more clearly.
- The measurements and data reported in this document shall be considered as carried out in International Standard Atmosphere ICAO (ISO 2533) unless otherwise stated.
- With reference to the Figures, the packaging for a cosmetic according to the invention is globally indicated with
number 1. - Preferably, the packaging for a cosmetic 1 defines a
main axis 1a. - Furthermore, preferably, the
packaging 1 comprises afirst body 2 and asecond body 3. - The
first body 2 is, for example, a containing case and thus comprises abase 20 and anopening 21. - Preferably, the
first body 2 is a cylindrical-type container aligned with themain axis 1a. Thus, thebase 20 substantially corresponds to the area comprising the closed base of the cylinder, while the opening corresponds to the area comprising the open base of the cylinder. - Preferably, the
second body 3 is movably constrained to thefirst body 2. Thus, it can substantially define two configurations with the first body 2: an open configuration, in which thebodies bodies - Thus, in a closed configuration, the
first body 2 and thesecond body 3 define aninternal volume 10. Suchinternal volume 10 is, in particular, a closed volume, inaccessible from the outside. - Thus, the
second body 3 is, for example a cap suitable for blocking the opening 21 and it can be of varying shapes and sizes. For example, it can be a portion constrainable to the opening by means of screwing, or it can be constrainable by means of friction. - The
second body 3 can also be a cover extending along the entire side surface of thefirst body 2. - Furthermore, the
packaging 1 comprises a cosmetic 4. The cosmetic 4 can be of a different typology and, preferably, it is a compacted powder-type cosmetic. - Such cosmetic 4 can thus be face powder, foundation, blusher, bronzing powder, eyeshadow, talcum powder, dusting powders or other.
- Furthermore, preferably, the cosmetic 4 is substantially chalk-shaped, preferably, cylindrically-shaped, preferably with a height, which is at least double with respect to the diameter. Preferably, it has an
upper face 4a, in use, facing the opening 21. Preferably, the cosmetic 4 is without the external container integral with said compacted powder. In fact, all compacted powder cosmetics are usually provided with a cylindrical container, usually made of metal, generally with a reduced height with respect to the diameter, which constitutes the base of the mold, in which the powder is compacted. On the contrary, the cosmetic 4 is opportunely realized with a mold, or by extrusion, but then it is completely separated from the realization means and moved independently of the latter. - The cosmetic 4 is arranged, for example, inside the
body 2 and takes up at least a part of thevolume 10, or it is supported by thebody 2. - Preferably, the
first body 2 is suitable for integrally constraining the cosmetic 4, at least in rotation, along themain axis 1a. - Preferably, the
packaging 1 further comprises pulverizing means 5. - Preferably, such pulverizing means 5 are movably constrained to the
first body 2. The pulverizing means 5 are thus suitable for pulverizing the cosmetic 4 arranged inside thebody 2. - Preferably, in detail, the pulverizing means 5 comprise a
movable portion 50 suitable for moving anabrasive surface 51. - The
movable portion 50 is, for example, a ring or cylindrical surface; it is constrained to the outer surface of thefirst body 2 and preferably only arranged externally to the same outer surface of thefirst body 2. Theabrasive surface 51 is arranged at theopening 21, entirely covering it, and it is preferably an element, which preferably substantially constitutes the closure of thefirst body 2. - Preferably, the
movable portion 50 is movably constrained to thefirst body 2, in particular at theopening 21. Preferably, it is constrained to thebody 2, so as to allow both the release and movement thereof with respect to thebody 2. - Thus, the
movable portion 50 is detachably and movably constrained to thebody 2 and it is suitable for rotating with respect to themain axis 1a with respect to thefirst body 2. - The
movable portion 50 can be constrained to thefirst body 2 by means of a detachable connection and the rotation can be guaranteed by an annular guide arranged inside or outside the side surface of thefirst body 2. Therefore, themovable portion 50 can be arranged both internally and externally with respect to thefirst body 2. - Alternatively, such guide can be helicoid and allow the
movable portion 50 to be translated along themain axis 1a when it is rotated. - The
abrasive surface 51 is preferably constrained to themovable portion 50 and it is suitable for pulverizing the cosmetic 4. - In particular, the
abrasive surface 51 is suitable for pulverizing the cosmetic 4 when themovable portion 50 rotates. In fact, preferably, theabrasive surface 51 comprises abrasive elements whose friction is such as to remove powdered material from the surface of the cosmetic 4. - Furthermore, preferably, the
abrasive surface 51 is an even surface, which entirely covers the hole of themovable portion 50 and comprises holes therein. - Such holes are suitable, for example, for allowing the cosmetic 4 to be deposited on the part of the
abrasive surface 51 facing thesecond body 3. - Consequently, the
abrasive surface 51 is substantially preferably a metal grate. Thus, such abrasive surface can be not detachably constrained or detachably constrained to themovable portion 50. Preferably, theabrasive surface 51 is detachably constrained to themovable portion 50 by means of acover 52. Preferably, thecover 52 is suitable for realizing an interlocking connection with themovable portion 50. In order to be able to create such constraint, theabrasive surface 51 preferably has a diameter coinciding with that of themovable portion 50 and themovable portion 50 comprises an internal shoulder suitable for reducing its diameter towards thebase 20 of thefirst body 2. Preferably, theabrasive surface 51 is arranged on the shoulder and tightened thereon by thecover 52. - Thus, preferably, the
cover 52 surrounds theabrasive surface 51 and defines acollection volume 53. - The
collection volume 53 is consequently the space above theabrasive surface 51, where above is understood to mean the area oriented towards thesecond body 3.Such collection volume 53 is suitable, for example, for containing at least part of the pulverizedcosmetic 4. - In addition to the above description, preferably, the
first body 2 includes amovement mechanism 22. -
Such movement mechanism 22 is preferably suitable for moving the cosmetic 4 in opposition to the pulverizing means 5. - More specifically, preferably, the movement means 22 comprise a
guide 22a, aslider 22b and athrust member 22c. - Preferably, the
guide 22a is substantially aligned with themain axis 1a. It can be obtained by extrusion on the inner surface of thefirst body 2, or it can be defined by an auxiliary element arranged inside the samefirst body 2. - Preferably, the
guide 22a is suitable for realizing an outline of the movement of theslider 22b. - Thus, preferably, the
slider 22b is movable inside theguide 22a and its dimensions are compatible with theguide 22a itself. - Furthermore, between the base 20 and the
slider 22b is thethrust member 22c. The latter is preferably arranged inside theguide 22a, between the base 20 and theslider 22b, as said previously, and it is suitable for moving theslider 22b along themain axis 1a towards the pulverizing means 5. - Preferably, in detail, the
thrust member 22c is a pre-loaded elastic element, such as a spring or a rubber element. However, thethrust member 22c can comprise two permanent magnets suitable for generating a repulsive force between them, so as to push the cosmetic 4 towards the pulverizing means 5. - The working of the packaging for a cosmetic 1 previously described in structural terms is the following.
- In particular, thanks to the detachability of the constraint composed of the
movable portion 50 and thefirst body 2, it is possible to introduce or remove the cosmetic 4 from thefirst body 2. - After inserting the cosmetic 4 into the
first body 2, it is possible to recompose the parts of thepackaging 1 and operate the pulverizing means 5. - By rotating the
movable portion 50, theabrasive surface 51 adheres to the cosmetic, 4 pulverizing at least a part thereof in contact with theabrasive surface 51. - Thus, the pulverized cosmetic 4 appears on the
abrasive surface 51 and is collected in thecollection volume 53 where it can be used by a user, for example, by removing the powder by means of a brush or other. - The invention comprises a new procedure.
- In particular, the invention realizes a procedure for pulverizing a previously described cosmetic 4, and for the previously described
packaging 1, which substantially consists of three steps. - The procedure comprises a first step, in which the cosmetic is inserted into the
volume 10. - A second step is then comprised, in which the pulverizing means are activated by a user and the cosmetic 4 is pulverized.
- Finally, the procedure preferably comprises a third step, in which the user collects the cosmetic 4 pulverized by the pulverizing means.
- The packaging for a cosmetic 1 according to the invention brings important advantages.
- In fact, the packaging for a cosmetic allows a powdered cosmetic to be used, avoiding dispersion of the same. In fact, the cosmetic 4 is substantially in a solid state and only the quantity necessary thereof is pulverized.
- All residue nonetheless remains inside the
first body 2 and consequently the cleanliness requirements are also guaranteed after use. - Such guarantee is also maintained in the event of the outer case breaking, which is preferably substantially composed of the
second body 3, since the cosmetic remains protected in an uncompressed state inside thefirst body 2, protected by theabrasive surface 51. - In conclusion, as a consequence of the previous advantages, a further advantage of the invention is that of reducing, or eliminating the risk of damage caused by the staining or soiling of adjacent objects, for example, when the
packaging 1 is put back into a bag. - Furthermore, the applicant has discovered that malfunctioning, particularly during rotations, of the devices of the prior art stated previously and described in patent applications:
US 2008/0276956 A1 andWO 2012/074329 A2 , were caused by the fact that, in such devices, the abrasive surface had to enter the metal container surrounding and containing the compressed powdered cosmetic. On entering, it was inevitably unable to crush the compacted powder along the side edges and, in a brief period of time, the latter constituted an obstacle to the rotation of the abrasive surface. On the contrary, the device according to the invention allows theupper surface 4a of the cosmetic 4 to be entirely pulverized by themeans 5, since theabrasive surface 51 entirely covers the cosmetic 4 and themovable portion 50 is preferably arranged outside thefirst body 2. - The invention is subject to variations falling within the scope of the inventive concept defined by the claims.
