Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines OSB-Plattenwerkstoffs mit den Schritten Herstellen von OSB-Strands, Beleimen der OSB-Strands und Herstellen einer Streugutmatte aus den OSB-Strands und Verpressen der Streugutmatte zu einem OSB-Plattenwerkstoff. Ein wesentliches ästhetisches Problem hierbei ist, dass aufgrund der Verfärbungen des Strands auch die hieraus hergestellten OSB-Plattenwerkstoffe keine farblich einheitliche Oberfläche haben, sondern aufgrund der roten, grauen oder schwarzen Färbungen einer Vielzahl der Strands den Eindruck erwecken, dass für die OSB-Platten minderwertiges Holz verwendet wurde.The beaches made of conifers have a different color image. Die Erfindung betrifft insbesondere Strands aus Nadelholz, besonders bevorzugt OSB-Strands aus Kiefernholz, kann jedoch auch bei OSB-Strands aus Laubhölzern bzw. anderen Nadelhölzern angewendet werden. Nach einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung wird die Streugutmatte mit außenliegenden Deckschichten hergestellt, wobei mindestens Teile der sichtbaren Deckschichtstrands gebleicht werden. Wird der Plattenwerkstoff bspw. mehrschichtig hergestellt, insbesondere mit einer ungeraden Anzahl von Schichten, bspw. drei Schichten, so weist ein nach dem erfinderischen Verfahren hergestellter OSB-Plattenwerkstoff insbesondere zwei außenliegende Deckschichten und eine Mittelschicht oder mehrere Mittelschichten auf. Dabei sind die Schichten gegeneinander abgesperrt, d. h. zueinander versetzt ausgerichtet. So werden vorzugsweise die Strands der Deckschichten mit ihrer Längsachse in Plattenlängsrichtung (insbesondere in Produktionsrichtung) und die Strands der Mittelschicht(en) mit ihrer Längsachse quer, bspw. weitestgehend 90° zu den Deckschichten angeordnet. Besonders bevorzugt werden die Strands jedoch sowohl mittels eines oxidativ als auch eines reduktiv wirkenden Bleichmittels gebleicht, d. h. einem mindestens zweistufigen Bleichverfahren unterzogen. Bei einem mehrstufigen Bleichvorgang können die Strands auch mehrfach durch das gleiche Bleichmittel oder unterschiedliche Bleichmittel, bspw. durch ein oxidativ wirkendes Bleichmittel und/oder ein reduktiv wirkendes Bleichmittel geführt werden. Alternativ oder ergänzend kann das Bleichmittel auch auf die Strands aufgetragen, bspw. aufgesprüht werden. Auch ist es denkbar, bei einem mehrstufigen Bleichvorgang die Strands zum einen durch ein Bleichmittelbad zu führen und in einer weiteren Bleichstufe das gleiche oder ein anderes Bleichmittel auf die Strands aufzusprühen. Abspülen mit Wasser bzw. mit dem Einführen und dem Beginn des Pressvorgangs in der Heizpresse. Die Bleichung erfolgt abgestimmt auf die holzhaltigen Strands und das jeweilige Bleichmittel nach einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung mit einer Temperatur von 15°C bis 25°C. Der Temperaturbereich von 15°C bis 25°C hat sich völlig überraschend als besonders geeignet für eine effektive und hohe Bleichwirkung der Strands herausgestellt. Dabei ermöglicht der besondere Temperaturbereich eine besonders hohe Bleichwirkung in einem kurzen Zeitraum, so dass die Bleichung besonders einfach in bestehende Verfahrensabläufe integriert werden kann. Zur weiteren Verbesserung des Bleichergebnisses bei konstant bleibender hoher mechanischer Qualität der Plattenwerkstoffe wird nach einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung die Bleichung mit Strands durchgeführt, die eine Restfeuchte von 80 Gew.% bis 120 Gew.% aufweisen. Die hohe Feuchtigkeit gewährleistet dabei eine gute Benetzbarkeit der Strands mit dem Bleichmittel, wodurch die Bleichwirkung (Aufhellung) deutlich verbessert wird.
