Description

When laying roof tiles, for example in the area of a ridge or a throat, the roof tile must be adapted to the structural conditions of the roof. For this purpose, a part of the roof tile is removed, which often means that the adapted roof tile is no longer suspended in the usual way on a roof batten, since the hanging on the bottom of the tile is no longer present. A roofer then often manages by piercing the roof tile and fastened to the roof substructure with a screw or wire. With such a retaining clip a secure attachment of roof tiles, especially in the ridge area is possible in a simple and easy to handle manner. In this case, the U-legs are spread against the spring force for insertion of the tile and lie after inserting the tile due to the spring tension on the roof tile. Subsequently, the retaining clip with the roof tile by inserting the fixing screw and screwing it into the roof substructure can be easily and securely attached. This clip is very suitable for roof tiles in the ridge area, but is not suitable for the attachment of cut roof tiles in the throat area. Unlike with cut roof tiles in the ridge area where the head is removed or cut off, the foot is removed in the throat area, with the result that the retaining clip is not in the cut area, as in the Burr, is attached, but at the unprocessed head of the roof tile. However, such a wire fastening has significant disadvantages. On the one hand, the processing is cumbersome because the wire is usually longer than 30 cm, which is cumbersome and makes it unclear to the roofer how the retaining clip actually needs to be fastened. On the other hand, the retaining wire must be tensioned to prevent the roof tile from slipping off. This makes handling difficult. In addition, the retaining clip is pitched on the roof tile, whereby the roof tile can be damaged.

The object of the invention is to propose an improved retaining clip for roof tiles, which is easy to handle and a secure roof tile attachment, especially in the throat area, guaranteed.

This object is achieved according to the invention in a retaining clip of the type described, in that at the web area, a fastening tab is hinged, which has a plurality of mounting holes for the fastening screw side by side.

A retaining clip according to the invention is first pushed onto the head of a roof tile, so that a connection is formed between the roof tile and retaining clip. Subsequently, the attachment of the retaining clip to the roof substructure, not with the help of a wire, but by means of hinged at the bridge area fastening tab, which can be screwed against the roof rafter. There is thus a flexible choice of attachment point available. On the other hand, the selection of attachment points not so big that untrained personnel would be overwhelmed with the right attachment.

In a particularly preferred embodiment it is provided that in each case an aligned opening for receiving a clamping screw is provided in the first U-leg and in the second U-leg, wherein the angular position of the two U-legs is mutually changeable by screwing in or out of the clamping screw. With the help of this clamping screw, the retaining clip can be firmly clamped to the respective roof tile by the clamping screw is screwed more or less far, so that the two U-legs move toward each other and clamped against the roof tile. This ensures a secure attachment for different head sizes of roof tiles.

In a further preferred embodiment, it is provided that the second U-leg is angled inwardly opposite to the opening in the first U-leg, wherein in the opening in the second U-leg a plug for receiving the clamping screw is inserted. By such an additional anchor the anchoring of the clamping screw is improved.

It is preferably further provided that the angled web portion of the second U-leg at the free end inwardly directed claw-like projections, whereby a secure attachment to the underside of the roof tile is further favored.

It can also be advantageously provided that the angled web portion is formed slotted between the projections, whereby the claw-like projections have even better spring properties.

Furthermore, it is advantageously provided that the first U-leg initially merges into an outwardly directed transverse web and adjacent thereto into an end web aligned parallel to the first U-leg for reaching over the thickened head region of a roof tile. The first U-leg is then formed as it were staircase-like and can with this area the head portion of a roof tile overlap well and the head of the clamping screw is below the cross bar or end bar and thus provides no unwanted increased support surface for the roof tile above.

A retaining clip for an indicated roof tile 1 with thickened head region 2, in particular a truncated roof tile 1 cut off in the flat area of the roof tile 1 for laying in the region of a roof throat, is generally designated 3 in the drawings. Preferably, the two U-legs 4, 5 of the U-shaped body of the retaining clip 3 are not rectilinear, but designed in the manner described in more detail below. It is preferably provided that adjacent to the web region 6 in the first U-leg 4, an opening 12 and with this aligned in the second U-leg 5, an opening 13 are recessed. Claims (6)

Retaining clip for a roof tile (1), in particular for fastening in the valley region, having an substantially U-shaped metal base body with two U-limbs (4, 5) which can be pushed onto the roof tile (1) and a web region (6) connecting the two U-limbs (4, 5), wherein at least one fastening opening is provided through which a fastening screw (11) for fastening to the roof substructure, in particular to a rafter (7) in the valley region, is passed,
