So the second connection means (16) plays a restricting role against an accidental movement.

  • the connection structure between the external handle element (12) and the handle auxiliary element (13) allows homogenous force transmission so that non-uniformity of the connection lines as a result of prolonged use, i.e. asymmetric separation of the handle assembly (18) elements is avoided while creating an uncovered cosmetic region (auxiliary element outer portion (25) which forms the outer visible portion of the handle auxiliary element (13)) which might have a characterizing surface texture.
  • the auxiliary element outer portion (25) provides a longitudinally extending L-shaped outer line engagingly corresponding to the edge form of the opposite external handle element (12), referred to as the auxiliary element resting portion (26).
  • the auxiliary element resting portion (26) is therefore shaped to provide a longitudinal cavity receiving the auxiliary element outer portion (25) in an interengaged manner, each of the two parts at the same time providing a flush surface relative to each other.
  • the innermost edge of the handle auxiliary element (13) (auxiliary element innermost edge (27) connects with an opposite corresponding connection line of the external handle element (12) in an interengaging manner. Therefore, interengagement connections are provided on both sides of the handle auxiliary element (13) with the external handle element (12) on the mounting direction.
  • the present invention proposes a laundry treatment machine comprising a cabinet having a front wall, an upper surface and a main body, the laundry treatment machine further comprising a front wall with a front door (19) allowing access into a drum for loading or unloading laundry, the front door (19) being openable by means of a handle assembly (18) mountable to the front door (19).
  • the handle assembly (18) comprises an external handle element (12) and a handle auxiliary element (13) being assembled with each other by means of at least a first connection means (15) and at least a second connection means (16).
  • the first connection means (15) is provided with a first connection opening (20) partially surrounding a plate-like extension connected to the handle auxiliary element (13) at one side thereof on a radial mounting direction of the handle auxiliary element (13) relative to the external handle element (12), the first connection opening (20) receiving an engagement protrusion (17) of the external handle element (12). Therefore, the handle auxiliary element (13) and the external handle element (12) are interlocked in the mounting direction.
  • the second connection means (16) is provided with an end-plate being separated from the handle auxiliary element’s (13) body by an intermediate opening receiving a fixation extension (24) of the external handle element (12). Again the fixation extension (24) provides that the handle auxiliary element (13) is firmly connected with the external handle element (12) in the mounting direction.
  • the first connection opening (20) is in the form of a U-shaped aperture surrounding the plate-like extension of the first connection means (15). This arrangement enables a multi-axis cavity suitable for establishing multi-axis engagement between the handle auxiliary element (13) and the external handle element (12).
  • the engagement protrusion (17) is an extension projecting from the inner side of the external handle element (12) so as to be fitted into the first connection opening (20).
  • the engagement protrusion (17) is an elongate extension perpendicular to the mounting direction of the handle auxiliary element (13) relative to the external handle element (12).

  • an auxiliary element outer portion (25) is provided in the form of a longitudinally extending L-shaped outer line engagingly connectible with an auxiliary element resting portion (26) forming the longitudinal edge cavity portion of the external handle element (12).
  • auxiliary element outer portion (25) and the auxiliary element resting portion (26) are shaped to provide a flush surface relative to each other.
  • an auxiliary element innermost edge (27) forming the innermost edge of the handle auxiliary element (13) connects with an opposite connection line of the external handle element (12) in an interengaging manner.
  • the auxiliary element outer portion (25) forming the outer visible portion of the handle auxiliary element (13) have a characterizing surface texture in the form of an uncovered cosmetic region.
  • a more efficient manner of providing a rigid mounting mechanism with an improved internal structure of cooperating involved components is provided.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne une machine de traitement du linge, telle qu'un lave-linge et/ou un sèche-linge, comprenant une porte avant dotée d'un mécanisme de poignée mécaniquement amélioré assemblé d'une manière en prise mutuelle. La présente invention concerne plus particulièrement une machine de traitement du linge comprenant une armoire dotée d'une paroi avant, d'une surface supérieure et d'un corps principal, d'une paroi avant avec une porte avant (19) permettant l'accès dans un tambour pour charger ou décharger du linge, la porte avant (19) pouvant être ouverte au moyen d'un ensemble formant poignée (18) qui peut être monté sur la porte avant (19). L'ensemble formant poignée (18) comprend un élément de poignée externe (12) et un élément auxiliaire de poignée (13) qui sont assemblés l'un à l'autre au moyen d'au moins un premier moyen de connexion (15) et d'au moins un deuxième moyen de connexion (16).
