Abstract

Ein Verfahren zur Überwachung eines Schleifprozesses, bei welchem ein Werkstück in einer Bandschleifmaschine geschliffen wird,
wobei die Bandschleifmaschine über einen Schleifkopf verfügt, welcher eine Kontaktwalze und/oder einen Schleifschuh sowie zumindest eine Umlenkrolle umfasst,
wobei ein Schleifband von der zumindest einen Umlenkrolle oder gemeinsam von der zumindest einen Umlenkrolle und der Kontaktwalze geführt wird,
wobei die Bandschleifmaschine über eine verfügt, um das Werkstück während des Schleifprozesses relativ zum Schleifkopf zu bewegen,
wobei das Schleifband während des Schleifens durch die Kontaktwalze und/oder durch den Schleifschuh auf eine Oberfläche des Werkstücks gedrückt wird,
wobei der Bandschleifmaschine ferner eine Sensoreinheit zur Abtastung der Oberfläche des Werkstücks zugeordnet ist, welche mit einer Auswerteeinheit in Verbindung steht,
soll dadurch gekennzeichnet sein, dass
die Sensoreinheit die Oberfläche des Werkstücks nach dem Schleifen abtastet, wobei die Sensoreinheit und die Auswerteeinheit dazu eingerichtet sind, ein Vorhandensein zumindest einer Rattermarke zu erfassen.
