Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a container with a container body, which has a container opening, and with a container closure for the container opening, the container body and the container closure being formed as a one-piece injection-molded part and having a hinge which movably connects the container closure to the container body, wherein the container body has a container wall which forms a container space, the container opening being surrounded by an edge, the container closure being designed as a snap closure and being able to assume an open position and a closed position, the container closure having a base on which an apron is arranged wherein the container closure has a first sealing section and a second sealing section, the first sealing section being arranged on an inside of the apron and the second sealing section on the base, in the closed position the first sealing section abuts an outer side of the edge to form a first seal,
  • Such a container is from the US 4,783,056 known.
  • the known container has two sealing sections, one of which in the closed position rests on the outside of the rim and the other on the inside of the rim.
  • Another container with a similar shape is from the WO 96/33108 known.
  • the US 3,441,161 describes a closure for a bottle.
  • the closure is designed as a separate part. It has a section which lies against the end face of the bottle.
  • the US 6,299,033 B1 describes a cap for a container.
  • the cap has flaps that can be opened and closed.
  • the US 2008/0035658 A1 describes a container with a container closure according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the US 5,667,094 A. describes another container with a container closure.
  • the container closure has a sealing section which comes to rest on the inside of the edge of the container opening.
  • the WO 2005/074571 A2 describes another container with a container closure.
  • a sealing section is provided on the container closure, which lies against the inside of the container opening when the container closure is closed.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a container that seals reliably and is simple to manufacture and use.
  • the container in the container mentioned at the outset that in the closed position the second sealing section bears against an end face of the edge in order to form a second seal. In this way, a reliable seal is achieved on the one hand.
  • the container can be manufactured simply and inexpensively by means of the injection molding process.
  • the container closure and container body can be made together in one piece by the injection molding process. A separate production of the container closure and an assembly on the container body are therefore not necessary.
  • the container according to the invention enables the container space to be used completely, since a good seal is achieved without the need for sealing elements projecting into the container space. Accordingly, the container can have smaller dimensions with the same filling volume. This also helps to save material. This can reduce costs and also reduce the volume of waste. The smaller dimensions also help to reduce transport costs.
  • the container is particularly suitable for pharmaceutical products, such as tablets, which can be arranged in the container space.
  • An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the apron has an area projecting inward in the radial direction and the edge has an area projecting outward in the radial direction and that the area of the apron projecting inward in the closed position with the area projecting outward the edge locked to fix the container closure in the closed position. This contributes in particular to reliable sealing and ease of use.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment provides that the first sealing section and the outwardly projecting region are designed such that the container closure is pulled toward the container body in the closed position.
  • the inwardly projecting area has a summit, a first surface adjoins the summit on a first side closer to the base and a second surface on a second side further away from the base and that the first and second surfaces are inclined with respect to a longitudinal axis of the container body.

  • summit is formed by a radius-shaped area which connects the first and the second surface.
  • the edge has a conical section-shaped sealing surface on which the first sealing section rests in the closed position.
  • the region in the shape of a cone section can in particular be formed by a section of the outwardly projecting region of the edge.
  • a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that no seal is provided which rests on an inside of the edge.
  • An advantageous embodiment provides that the base of the container closure and the container body are injection molded from the same plastic material. In this way, a reliable seal can be achieved, the manufacture being simple and reliable.
  • the apron has a first apron height, that the apron in the area of the hinge has a cutout and that the apron has a second, lower apron height in the area of the cutout.
  • the hinge can be articulated in the section with the second apron height. This particularly facilitates the closing of the container closure.
  • the second sealing section is arranged in a recess and / or that a summit of the second sealing section does not protrude beyond a plane formed by the inside of the base.
  • This design also contributes to a reliable seal.
  • the full wall thickness can predominantly be retained in the region of the base, which counteracts an undesired diffusion of moisture.
  • An arcuate section with a radius between 0.2 mm and 0.75 mm is preferably arranged at the summit. This contributes to a good seal and good usability.
  • a further preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the base has a first groove on the inside on one side of the second sealing section and a second groove on the other side of the second sealing section.

  • first sealing section and the second sealing section consist of the same plastic material as the base of the container closure. A reliable seal can be achieved in this way. In addition, the production is simple and inexpensive.
  • first sealing section and / or the second sealing section consist of a different material than the base of the container closure.
  • first and / or second sealing section e.g. a softer material can be provided that enables an even better seal.
