Definitions
- the present invention relates to a structure of a keyboard and, more particularly, to a keyswitch assembly and a manufacturing method thereof.
- US 2015/248173 A1 discloses a keycap that provides glyphs that are selectively visible.
- An exemplary keycap comprises a housing that has an at least partially transparent top side.
- a glyph made of a polarizing material is placed on the top side of the keycap.
- the glyph has a first plane of polarization.
- a liquid crystal panel is disposed inside the housing underneath the glyph.
- the liquid crystal panel is larger than the glyph above it.
- a polarizing filter having a second plane of polarization is arranged between the liquid crystal panel and a reflective carrier plate.
- the reflected light is polarized by the polarization filter.
- the polarized light passes through the liquid crystal panel, which selectively rotates the polarization plane of light passing through it if the liquid crystal panel is active
- US 2002/021562 A1 discloses a light-emitting key with multiple independently-illuminated messages for fitting to an equipment front panel, in particular for aviation equipment, the key comprising a bearing rim and a hollow key body terminated by a front, drive face covered by a mask etched with messages to be illuminated, said key body being connected to said bearing rim by means of a peripheral ligament, said body, said ligament, and said rim being made as a single piece of flexible material.
- JP S60 148017 A discloses a keyboard switch of a multi-character input for separately displaying characters that can be entered and characters that cannot be input.
- WO 2010/140573 A1 discloses a sheet for illumination enabling a neighboring illumination section to be illuminated by light guided into the inside of the sheet and enabling the then crosstalk to be reduced and an input device using a sheet for illumination.
- Multiple light interrupting wires extending through the sheet or from at least one surface and having reduced thickness dimensions are provided between a first light entrance portion and a second light exit portion and between a second light entrance portion and a first light exit portion.
- Inputting devices of computer peripheral equipment generally include keyboards, mice, and trackballs.
