- Therapy couches are known from the market with a frame device, a hip support section for receiving a hip region of a patient, an upper body support section for receiving an upper body of the patient and at least one support element, which is arranged in the region of the hip support section and can be locked relative to the hip support section or immovable relative to the hip support section ,
- the patient lays his upper body on the upper body support section and his hip on the hip support section.
- the patient can hold during treatment and a Treatment of back pain can be done, for example, by pivoting the upper body support portion.
- H H
- the support element in a position in which it is available to support the patient through this, either completely immovably mounted or can be brought into such a position and in this position either completely immovable, or resisting displacement or pivoting in this position, which resistance is sufficient to move the upper body support portion to the upper support abutment portion and the hip support portion by support on the support member.
- the object of the present invention is to provide a therapy couch that is of simple design and therefore inexpensive to produce and that can be advantageously used for the extension or traction of the human spine, in particular for use in spinal decompression or spinal decompression can.

Description
The invention relates to a therapy couch according to the preamble of
Therapy couches are known from the market with a frame device, a hip support section for receiving a hip region of a patient, an upper body support section for receiving an upper body of the patient and at least one support element, which is arranged in the region of the hip support section and can be locked relative to the hip support section or immovable relative to the hip support section , During a treatment, the patient lays his upper body on the upper body support section and his hip on the hip support section. On the support member, the patient can hold during treatment and a Treatment of back pain can be done, for example, by pivoting the upper body support portion. Alternatively, it is also known from the prior art to move or displace the hip support section away from the upper body support section. With respect to the Hüftauflageabschnitt lockable or immovable relative to the Hüftauflageabschnitt is here presently meant that the support element in a position in which it is available to support the patient through this, either completely immovably mounted or can be brought into such a position and in this position either completely immovable, or resisting displacement or pivoting in this position, which resistance is sufficient to move the upper body support portion to the upper support abutment portion and the hip support portion by support on the support member.
The object of the present invention is to provide a therapy couch that is of simple design and therefore inexpensive to produce and that can be advantageously used for the extension or traction of the human spine, in particular for use in spinal decompression or spinal decompression can. In spinal decompression, the intervertebral discs, which are located between individual vertebral bodies, are relieved or decromimized. The decompression ensures an increased supply of nutrients and fluid to the intervertebral discs, which has a positive effect on the well-being of the patient Patient, especially if he suffers from disc problems.
The object mentioned above is achieved by a therapy couch according to
The hip support portion provides a firm anchor point for the hip of the patient, while the upper body support portion is displaceable or movable via a pressure movement of the patient in which he pushes off on the support element. Relative movement between the hip support section and the upper body support section relieves or decompresses the intervertebral discs in the patient. The patient can then stop the pressure movement, whereby the displaceable upper body support section returns to its original position and the discs return to their original loading condition, so be compressed again. This debiting and debiting can over be repeated over a longer period, which leads to an increased supply of nutrients to the discs, which has an advantageous effect on the well-being of the patient.
It is advantageous if the therapy couch comprises a force limiting device, via which the support element can be locked relative to the hip rest section. Force limiting device is designed such that it holds the support member in a position relative to the Hüftauflageabschnitt or locked until a force acting on the support exceeds a force limit. Exceeds the force acting on the support member, the force limit, the support member moves relative to the Hüftauflageabschnitt. The support element can be connected via the force limiting device, for example, directly to the Hüftauflageabschnitt. It is also conceivable that the support element is connected via the force limiting device with the frame device.
The force limiting device may, for example, a pressure cylinder, which may be performed hydraulically or pneumatically include. It is also conceivable that the force limiting device comprises a spring which is formed with a biasing force. The spring may be formed as a compression, tension or bending spring.
It is advantageous if the force limiting device is designed such that when the force limit is exceeded, the support element from the upper body support portion is displaced away. It is advantageous if the support element is pivotable. It is particularly advantageous if the support element pivotally connected to the force limiting device.
The force limiting devices described above make it possible to limit a force with which the patient moves the upper body resting portion away from the hip supporting portion by its pressure movement to a certain force limit. This can effectively prevent overloading of joints, ligaments and muscles.
It is advantageous if the Oberköperauflageabschnitt is stretched along the displacement axis via a biasing means to the Hüftauflageabschnitt out. The Oberköperauflegeeabschnitt thereby moves reliably in its intended starting position when the patient exerts no pressure on the support element or the support elements. Such a tension of the upper body support section via a pretensioning device towards the hip support section can be realized, for example, via a pretensioning device comprising a spring and / or a pressure cylinder.
It is advantageous if the support element can be locked in different pivot positions. This can ensure that the support element is always aligned in the ideal position relative to the Oberköperauflageabschnitt.
It is advantageous if the fixing means for fixing the hip region of the patient comprises a hip belt having a hip part for wrapping around the hip of the patient and at least one attachment portion for connecting the hip belt to the frame device and / or the Hüftauflageabschnitt and / or another with respect to the Hüftauflageabschnitt immovable component of the therapy table comprises, preferably wherein the mounting portion comprises four belt sections, in each case two of the belt portions are arranged on a body side of the patient in an intended mounting configuration, in particular wherein the two on the same side of the body Patients guided belt sections are arranged in the intended mounting configuration extending crosswise. As a result, the hip of the patient can be securely attached to the hip support portion. As a result, the hip region of the patient can be fixed particularly securely with respect to the hip support section.
It is also advantageous if the upper body resting portion is pivotable about a transverse axis, wherein the transverse axis is in a horizontal plane and orthogonal to an intended patient orientation. In this way, for example, the patient can be brought into a sitting or semi-sitting position and subsequently the upper body support section can be displaced relative to the hip support section. As a result, it is possible to respond specifically to different requirements for the loading and unloading of intervertebral discs at different points of the body of the patient. Moreover, by giving away the upper-body support portion, it is possible to deliberately avoid positions that cause pain to the patient.
It is also advantageous in this embodiment if the upper body support section can be locked in at least two points which are pivoted about the transverse axis. Here, first, a desired Pivoting the upper body support portion are adjusted and then the upper body support portion relative to the Hüftauflageabschnitt be moved. The patient can therefore first lay on the therapy table, then a comfortable position of the upper body support section can be adjusted and then the actual loading and unloading operations of the disc can be initiated.
It is also advantageous if the displacement axis about the transverse axis, which extends in the horizontal plane and orthogonal to the intended patient orientation, is pivotable. In this embodiment, therefore, not only the upper body support portion is pivotable, but it can also pivot the direction in which the upper body support portion relative to the Hüftauflageabschnitt is displaced, so the displacement axis.
In an advantageous embodiment, the therapy table has a stop for the upper body support section, which prevents pivoting of the upper body support section about the transverse axis below the horizontal plane. This prevents unintentional manner in which the upper body support section is pivoted into a negative pivoting position, ie below the horizontal plane. Such a negative pivot position, ie a pivotal position in which the upper body of the patient practically hangs down, has an unfavorable effect on the intervertebral discs, as the intervertebral discs are subjected to an unfavorable load on the vertebral bodies.
In an advantageous embodiment of the therapy couch according to the invention, a fixing means for fixing the upper body of the patient is arranged on the upper body support section in the area of the upper body support section and / or a fixing means for fixing the hip region of the patient is arranged on the hip support section in the area of the hip support section. By means of the above-described fixing means, which are advantageously designed as straps, the individual body parts of the patient can be fixed in a simple manner on the upper body support section or on the hip support section. By fixing the hip on the Hüftauflageabschnitt and the entrainment of the displaceable upper body support section on the shoulder pads, the pressure force of the patient in a relative movement between the upper body support portion and Hüftauflageabschnitt as directly as possible transferred to the body or the body parts of the patient, so that a controlled loading and unloading the intervertebral discs is always guaranteed. In addition or as an alternative to the fixing means in the region of the hip support section, a fixing means may also be provided in the region of a thigh support section. About the fixative in the thigh support section, the thighs of the patient can be fixed to this, which has a positive effect on the loading and unloading of the intervertebral discs.
In an embodiment of the therapy couch according to the invention, a shoulder contact device is arranged in the region of the upper body support section. It is particularly preferred if the shoulder contact device seen in different positions along the intended patient orientation with respect to the Upper body support portion is locked, whereby the shoulder contact device is adaptable to patients of different sizes. It is also advantageous if the shoulder contact device can be locked in different positions orthogonal to the patient orientation. As a result, the therapy table can be adapted to patients of different widths. By way of the shoulder contact device, a compressive force which the patient, who is supported on the support elements, can be transferred to the upper body support section in a simple manner. The lockability of the shoulder contact device in various positions along the intended patient alignment ensures that the therapy table can be adjusted quickly and reliably to patients of different sizes in a simple manner. This makes it possible to use a therapy couch for the treatment of patients of different sizes.
According to a further preferred embodiment of the therapy couch according to the invention, this comprises the thigh support section, which is pivotable about a second transverse axis, the second transverse axis being parallel to the horizontal plane and orthogonal to the intended patient orientation. As a result, the leg position of the patient can be precisely adjusted and adjusted to his respective needs. It is also particularly advantageous if the therapy couch according to the invention comprises a lower leg rest section, which is pivotable about a third transverse axis, wherein the third transverse axis is parallel to the horizontal plane and orthogonal to the intended patient orientation. The lower leg support portion is advantageously via a pull-out with the Thigh support portion connected and can be adapted in particular via a latching mechanism to the respective size of the patient. This is particularly advantageous when the thigh support section is in the pivoted position to the hip support section. By adjusting the lower leg support portion to the thigh support portion, the patient can conveniently rest his lower legs and feet to achieve tilting of the pelvis and thereby pre-stressing the spine. Particularly advantageous is the combination of a pivotable thigh support portion with the above-described pivotable lower leg support portion. As a result, the legs can be positioned at an angle in the pivoted position exactly, so that the most comfortable and pain-free position for the patient during the treatment is possible.
As an alternative to the above-described embodiments with a pivotable thigh support section or a pivotable lower leg support section, a preferred embodiment of the therapy couch is that in which the hip support section is integral with a leg support section, the leg support section comprising the thigh support section and / or the lower leg support section. Such a therapy table can be produced inexpensively and has a few fault-prone mechanical devices. As a result, the therapy table according to the embodiment just mentioned is particularly robust and can be produced very inexpensively while at the same time still very effective therapeutic applications. Preferred in the embodiments just described, when the therapy table is collapsible.
It is also advantageous if the upper body support section can be completely immobilized in the starting position and preferably in a further position different from the starting position relative to the hip support section. As a result, the therapy table can be used in a simple manner as a conventional massage table.
It is also preferred if the shoulder contact device is designed to be removable. This is particularly advantageous in combination with the above-mentioned lockable upper body rest section.
It is also preferred if the hip support section can be pivoted into different positions relative to the frame device, wherein the hip support section is fixedly connected in each case to the frame device in the different positions in the operating position of the therapy couch. The Hüftauflageabschnitt this embodiment can thus be pivoted in the various positions and connect fixed in this with the frame means. As a result, the hip position of the patient can be individually adjusted in order to be able to treat the different spinal column sections more effectively and individually.
Therapy couch according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the hip support section extends horizontally in a position and / or that the hip support section in a second position by at least 10 °, preferably by at least 15 °, in particular inclined by at least 20 ° to the horizontal, preferably wherein the Hüftauflageabschnitt in the second position by at most 35 °, preferably at most 30 °, in particular inclined by at most 25 ° to the horizontal.

In the area of the

In addition or as an alternative to the fixing means 26 in the region of the

In using the therapy layer, a position of the
In particular, when the
