  • the lid 46 is articulated to the coaming 34 by means of a hinge (not shown).
  • the opening 30 preferably has large dimensions relative to the dimensions of the shell 12.
  • the radius R 2 of the opening 30 is between 120 cm and 150 cm, for a radius R 1 of the shell of between 6, 0 m and 6.5 m.
  • the distance 23 between two couples 20, 21 neighbors is for example between 75 cm and 100 cm.
  • the arrangement of the opening 30 in the panel 16 therefore involves the interruption of one or more pairs 21 whose trajectory on the skin 18 passes through the opening 30.
  • Other pairs 20, located at a distance from the opening 30, are continuous over the entire panel 16.
  • Each interrupted pair 21 is thus divided into two fragments 50, 52, located on either side of a plane (X, Z) passing through the opening 30.

  • a length of the main body 62 according to Y depends on the position of the stiffener 60 in the opening 30, more or less close to the second axis 32.
  • the stiffener 60 further comprises two fixing plates 70, 72 arranged in planes (X, Z). Each plate 70, 72 forms one end of the stiffener 60 along Y. Each plate 70, 72 is integral with the central core 64 and the flanges 66, 68.
  • Each plate 70, 72 is removably assembled to a support 74, 76, fixed to the inner lateral surface 36 of the coaming 34.

  • Each support 74, 76 has a contact surface 78, 80 arranged in a plane (X, Z) and connected to a plate 70, 72.
  • a maximum length along Y of each support 74, 76, between the lateral surface internal 36 and the contact surface 78, 80 is substantially equal for all the supports 74, 76 of the coaming 34. More preferably, said maximum length is determined firstly to maximize the length of the main body 62et, and on the other hand, to allow the removable assembly of the plates 70, 72 to the support 74, 76.
  • a distance 73 between two contact surfaces 78, 80 vis-à-vis depends on the position in the opening 30 of the corresponding stiffener 60. As visible on the figure 1 the further the stiffener 60 is close to the second axis 32, the greater the distance 73 is important.
  • a first plate 70 of the stiffener 60 is assembled in contact with a first contact surface 78 of a first support 74.
  • figure 5 shows a sectional BB view (see figure 4 ) of the stiffener 60 at the interface between the first plate 70 and the first contact surface 78.
  • the stiffener 60 comprises locking means in translation in a plane (X, Z) with respect to the first contact surface 78.
  • the first plate 70 has projections in the form of two keys 82, 84; the first contact surface 78 comprises two grooves 86, 88, of shape complementary to that of the keys 82, 84.
  • the keys 82, 84 have a substantially rectilinear shape.
  • a first key 82 is arranged along Z and a second key 84 is arranged according to X.
  • the panel 16 has a shim 90 sandwiched between the second plate 72 and a second contact surface 80 of a second support 76.
  • the shim 90 is flat and disposed according to (X , Z).
  • a thickness 92 of the shim along Y is greater than a thickness of the keys 82, 84 according to Y.
  • the distance 73 between the two contact surfaces 78, 80 is substantially equal to the sum of a length along Y of the stiffener 60, without the keys 82, 84, and the thickness 92 of the shim 90.
  • the shim 90 is able to be slid between the second plate 72 and the second contact surface 80, with a minimum clearance.
  • the second plate 72, the shim 90 and the second contact surface 80 are assembled by a connecting element, or a group of connecting elements 94, 96 arranged according to Y.
  • the cutting plan AA of the figure 4 is recessed from the core 64 and passes through a first group of connecting elements 94, 96; a second similar group is located on the other side of the core 64 according to X.
  • the connecting elements 94, 96 are removable so as to be able to separate the stiffener 60 from the supports 74, 76.
  • At least one of the connecting elements 94, 96 is a pin 94, inserted into a blind bore 95.
  • the bore 95 is disposed along Y and passes successively through the second plate 72, the shim 90 and the second support 76.
  • the pin 94 comprises means (not shown) for cooperation with a tool of gripping, in order to be extracted from the bore 95.

  • At least one of the connecting elements 94, 96 is a threaded rod 96, screwed into a blind bore 95 and tightened by means of a nut 98 arranged against the second plate 72.
  • the first group of connecting elements 94, 96 comprises two pins 94 arranged on either side, along Z, of a threaded rod 96.
  • the connecting elements 94, 96 are preferably configured with a large diameter, in order to compensate for possible shocks to the stiffener 60 perpendicular to Y.
  • Each stiffener 60 is thus secured to the supports 74 and 76, ensuring a recovery of forces, through the opening 30, between the fragments 50 and 52 of each pair 21 of the panel 16.
  • the sealing function of the opening 30 is provided by the cover 46 and the resistance function is provided by the support assembly 74, 76 / stiffeners 60.
  • the sealing and resistance functions are therefore dissociated. one of the other, unlike the panel described in the document FR1338958 .
  • a method of manufacturing the panel 16 will now be described: Firstly, the fragments 50, 52 of the pairs 21, as well as the doubling portion 58, are assembled on the outer surface 35 of the coaming 34. The assembly thus formed, as well as the continuous pairs 20, are welded to the skin 18 breakthrough of the opening 30.
  • the supports 74, 76 are then fixed to the inner surface 36 of the coaming 34, to the right of the fragments 50, 52.
  • a stiffener main body 62 is then cut to a suitable length at the distance 73 between the contact surfaces 78 and 80.
  • the main body 62 thus cut is attached to the first 70 and second 72 platens , to form the stiffener 60 adapted to said pair of supports 74, 76.
  • the stiffener 60 is then disposed between the supports 74 and 76, for example by sliding the second plate 72 against the second contact surface 80.
  • a clearance between the first plate 70 and the first contact surface 78 is substantially equal to the distance 92, greater than the thickness of the keys 82, 84. Said keys can thus easily be positioned in the grooves 86, 88 formed in the first contact surface 78.
  • the position of the stiffener 60 relative to the first support 74 is thus blocked in a plane (X, Y).
  • the shim 90 is then slid between the second plate 72 and the second contact surface 80.
  • the blind bores 95 are then formed by jointly piercing the second plate 72, the shim 90 and the second support 76.
  • the pins 94 and the threaded rods 96 are then assembled with said bores 95.
  • the panel 16 is then integrated into the shell 12 of the submersible module 10. Alternatively, the panel 16 is integrated with the shell 12 before the installation of the stiffeners 60.
  • each stiffener 60 is disassembled in the opposite way to the assembly described above: the elements of link 94, 96 are extracted from the bores 95, then the plate 90 is moved laterally to release the clearance 92 between the stiffener 60 and the supports 74, 76; the keys 82, 84 can thus be extracted from the grooves 86, 88, releasing the stiffener 60.
  • the cover 46 is also dissociated from the coaming 34, giving access to the inside of the shell 12.
