Plate holder (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one latching element (13, 14) has a latching projection (131, 141), which projects from the contact surface (100) transversely to the contact plane (A) and is designed to come into abutment with an edge (23, 24) of the vehicle registration plate (2) in the position of the vehicle registration plate (2) arranged on the plate holder (1).

Plate holder (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that at least one latching element (13, 14) has an elevation (133, 143), which projects from the contact surface (100) and is designed to come into abutment with an underside (25) of the vehicle registration plate (2) facing the contact surface (100) in the position of the vehicle registration plate (2) arranged on the plate holder (1) .
  12. Plate holder (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the at least one latching element (13, 14) has a fastening point (132, 142) for fastening the vehicle registration plate (2) on the holder base (10).
  13. Plate holder (1) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the placement surface (102) has at least one opening (109), via which the at least one latching element (13, 14) on the contact surface (100) is accessible.
  14. Assembly comprising a plate holder (1) according to one of the preceding claims and a vehicle registration plate (2), on which a radio frequency transponder (26) is arranged.
