Description

TITLE
AN INNOVATIVE PACKAGING FOR WET WIPES
Technical field
The present invention refers to the technical field relative to the packaging of wet wipes.
In particular, the invention refers to an innovative packaging for wipes, preferably of the wet type, which allows to contain inside it a greater quantity of product with respect to the standards, facilitating at the same time the extraction thereof.
Background art
The use of wet wipes is already widespread and known. There exist of several types and sizes, adapted to all uses. Some of them are specific for female personal hygiene, others are specific for children's hygiene, others are for a more generic use, for example to clean the hands.
Figure 1 and figure 2 show a typical packaging for such types of wipes.
Generally such wipes, both of the wet type and of the dry type and independently of the uses to which they are destined, are contained inside a packaging in which the product is interleaved and a leaf is therefore overlapped to the other in a pile-like manner.
Figure 1 shows a packaging that is generally in the shape of a plastic film. Such a packaging is substantially in the shape of an envelope, therefore relatively pressed in the sense that the height is inferior by far with respect to the measure of the sides constituting the superior or inferior surface. This is because, as said, the packaging contains inside it the leaves extended and piled one on top of the other.
Specifically, figure 1 shows a packaging 101 normally closed at its edges by means of a traditional seam 103.
The extraction of the product, contained inside it, takes place by opening a rigid cover of plastic 102 which gives access to the internal part of the packaging.
The packaging, as in fact shown in the section of figure 2, foresees a die cutting 104 (or a cut-out of material that creates an opening) that gives access to its containment volume.
The rotation of the cover, fixed to a frame that contours the die cutting and in turn fixed to the packaging, allows the opening as per figure 3 and the extraction of the single leaf 105.
It is then enough to close the cover to keep the product inside integral, above all when it is of the wet type.
The cover can be arranged in the embodiment of figure 1 or, alternatively, in a position rotated at ninety degrees with respect to that of figure 1, that is with the short sides parallel to the seamed sides.
In other cases the cover can be substituted by a simple incision of a line that thus forms a strip that can be lifted and closed by means of an adhesive label.
A technical problem related to such a type of product is connected to the fact that the product in a so- made packaging can be arranged only in an overlapped pile. The height of the containment envelope is in fact in the order of a couple of centimeters generally. In that sense, the quantity of product that can be contained in the packaging is very limited because the realization of piles of product that go beyond a certain height does not result comfortable and there is the risk that, during the production and before the packaging, the pile exfoliates.
The machines already standardized for the production of such piles are such that the number of leaves interleaved one on top of the other hardly exceeds the hundred pieces and this limit can hardly be overcome since there is the risk of exfoliating of the pile and difficulty in the seam of the packagings.
Disclosure of invention
It is therefore the aim of the present invention to provide an innovative packaging for hygienic wipes, preferably of the wet type, which solves said technical inconveniences .
In particular, it is the aim of the present invention to provide an innovative packaging for wipes, which allows in a comfortable way the packaging of a high number of product, allowing at the same time an enhanced extraction thereof.
These and other aims are therefore reached with the present packaging 1, as per claim 1.
Brief description of drawings
Further features and advantages of the present tape and relative use method, as per the invention, will result clearer with the description that follows of some embodiments thereof, made to illustrate but not to limit, with reference to the annexed drawings, wherein:
— Figures from 1 to 3 show a solution of packaging of wipes in accordance with the known art;
— Figure 4 shows in an axonometric view a new packaging in accordance with the present invention; — Figure 5 shows a section of the packaging to show the content thereof, in the shape of a roll in leaf;
- Figure 6 extrapolates the single roll of leaf.
Description of some preferred embodiments
Figure 4 shows a new packaging 1 in accordance with the invention.
It is in the shape of a bag whose height (h ) is preferably greater than the width ( la ) of the base.
As shown in figure 4, the superior edge 2 , for all its length ( lu ) , is generally closed by means of a seam between the two strips of material.
The height (h) is preferably superior also to such a measure of length (lu) .
The bag 1, as highlighted in figure 5, has in section a shape that generally reminds of the roof of a house with an underlying base or the classical biscuit packagings .
As shown in figure 4, a cover 3 is foreseen, openable, which is totally identical to that of the known art .
In particular, the cover 3 closes an opening obtained in the bag itself through a seam, that is an asportation of material.
The cover 3 is therefore rotatable between an open position, in which it gives access to the inside part of the bag, and a close position, in which it closes in a snap-like manner, closing the bag.
The closure is preferably of the snap-like manner type since it guarantees a greater seal and therefore guarantees a greater duration of the product in the case it consists of wet leaves.
It is in fact known that the contact with the air causes the early drying of such leaves. Obviously, nothing would impede to use closeable openings of different nature, such as for example to engrave the bag itself in such a way as to form a closeable strip or tab.
The snap-like closure, as already known, is obtained by assembling rotatably the cover on a frame that is fixed around the seam and with the cover dimensioned in such a way as to engage in a snap-like manner against said frame when it is pressed against it.
Figure 5 shows a section of the bag in accordance with the invention, in such a way as to highlight the content thereof.
Precisely thanks to such a lengthened bag-like shape (similar to a biscuit pack) , the content can be now in the shape of a roll of tape, for example of the non-woven fabric type, paper, cellulose, etc.
Preferably, the roll is precisely of non-woven fabric since this material has good features of absorption of the perfuming/hygienizing liquid and good features of resistance for the hygienic purposes to which it is destined.
The roll is shown separately in figure 6.
Generally, but not necessarily, it is a roll without central core, that is it is wrapped around a mechanical spindle that is then removed. The roll, unlike toilet paper rolls, for example, is not wrapped around a cylindrical core of cardboard.
This has the advantage of rendering the roll itself more compressible, which adapts better to different measures .
Further, as shown in figure 6, the leaf can be unrolled starting from the internal leaf.
This allows to arrange this type of roll inside the packaging upright, as shown in figure 5, and to unroll it without inconveniences without the need for the roll itself to rotate around an axis during the unwrapping of the tape.
In this way, the roll is stable inside the packaging and can easily be unrolled.
The leaves foresee a normal tear line exactly as for the toilet paper rolls, in such a way that each leaf can be separated from the overall tape constituting the roll.
Obviously, although the solution that foresees the use of a wet or humidified roll of tape with no core is optimal, nothing would impede the use of a roll in which the tape is wrapped around a core, for example of cardboard.
Nevertheless, in this case the tape should be unrolled from the most external leaf, the whole creating an inconvenience that does not render said unrolling easy, being the roll in fact packed within a container and being impeded from rotating.
The length of tape wrapped, in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the invention, is of about 36 meters .
Considering that each leaf has a measure in length of about 17 cm, this implies that, in accordance with such a solution, it is possible to obtain also more than 200 tears, that is 200 leaves, which is the double with respect to the traditional packs of the known art.
The whole, obviously, without any difficulty of realization as there is instead in the case of too high piles .
The roll, being without a core, is compressible. In that sense, the optimal measures of the present bag, with the roll included inside it, become the following: Width (la) = about 12,5 cm;
Length (lu) = about 15 cm;
Height (h) = about 21.
The bag can be realized in a film coupled with polyester and polythene or polyester and polypropylene. Said measures of the bag are optimal to obtain, as said, a roll of about 36 linear meters of fabric, corresponding to a variable number of wipes according to the measures of the single leaf (or of the tear) .
For example, products packaged can be obtained that allow about 200 tears (or 200 leaves) or even a greater number .
The shape of the package 1 can also differ from that in section of figure 5 but the package has to be anyway configured to allow the insertion of a roll of tape, preferably placed upright as per figure 5.
The productive process is the following:
The rolls of dry non-woven fabric are produced separately .
The roll is wrapped on specific wrapping machines with wrapping spindles in such a way that the roll results to be without a core.
Subsequently, the roll is soaked in a perfuming and/or disinfectant liquid in accordance with the known art .
Packaging machines arrange the roll inside the bag, which results to be open in its superior part 2.
At this point a seaming machine closes the edge 2, generally through a seam (or by uniting the two strips of the edge 2 using heat) .
Last, the die cutting phase takes place, in which a die cutting machine arranges the opening for the extraction of the tape and the cover 3 is then applied. Such a cover results to be arranged on such a vertical package in order to allow the extraction of the product and its hermetic closure.
With respect to the solution in which the opening is closed with an adhesive strip, the use of the cover certainly allows a better conservation of the product.
The closure 3 can be arranged in any position, or with the long side for example parallel to the seam or with the short side parallel to said seamed side 2.
