Claims (10)

  1. Method for carrying out remote diagnostics of vehicles (V) each comprising a communication module (MC) able to communicate with a remote diagnostic tool (OD) and coupled to on-board communicating electronic equipment (EEj), comprising a first step in which the said diagnostic tool (OD) generates a remote diagnostic request associated with a value of a remote diagnostic parameter to a communicating electronic equipment (EEj) of a vehicle (V), a second step in which processing means (MT) compare the said value with a predefined value, and in case of identity between the latter, the processing means (MT) transmit a remote diagnosis session request to said recipient communicating electronic equipment (EEj), a third step in which the latter (EEj) generates a response to said request, then if this response is an acceptance of said remote diagnosis session or a predefined refusal of said remote diagnosis session the processing means (MT) transmit said remote diagnosis request to said communicating electronic equipment (EEj), and a fourth step in which the processing means (MT) transmit to said diagnosis tool (OD) a message generated by said communicating electronic equipment (EEj) in response to said remote diagnosis request
    and in that in the third step, if this response is neither an acceptance of the remote diagnosis session nor a predefined refusal of this remote diagnosis session, then the processing means (MT) transmits to the diagnosis tool (OD) a response message indicating that a condition is not met the remote diagnosis request not being transmitted to the communicating electronic equipment (EEj), a predefined refusal being a refusal to participate in the remote diagnosis session requested by the diagnosis tool (OD), and having a predefined value which is a normative value in response to a non-predefined request.
  2. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that in said second step said comparison is carried out in a communication server (SC) providing a communication interface between said diagnostic tool (OD) and the communication module (MC) of the vehicle (V) being diagnosed, and in said third step said response generated by said communicating electronic equipment (EEj) is analysed in said communication server (SC), then if said response is an acceptance of said remote diagnosis session or a predefined refusal of said remote diagnosis session, said communication server (SC) transmits said remote diagnosis request to said communicating electronic equipment (EEj), via said communication module (MC).
  3. Method according to claim 1, characterised in that in said second step said comparison is carried out in said communication module (MC) of the vehicle (V) comprising said communicating electronic equipment (EEj) which is the recipient of said remote diagnosis request, and in said third step said response generated by said communicating electronic equipment (EEj) is analysed in said communication module (MC), then if said response is an acceptance of said remote diagnosis session or a predefined refusal of said remote diagnosis session, said communication module (MC) transmits said remote diagnosis request to said communicating electronic equipment (EEj).
  4. Method according to one of the claims 1 to 3, characterised in that in said fourth step, if said response to the remote diagnosis session request is an acceptance of said remote diagnosis session, a remote diagnosis session closing message is first sent to said communicating electronic equipment (EEj) recipient of said remote diagnosis request, then, in the event of receiving a message confirming the closing of this remote diagnosis session, the said message generated by the said communicating electronic equipment (EEj) in response to the said remote diagnosis request is transmitted to the said diagnostic tool (OD), together with a predefined value of the said remote diagnosis parameter.
  5. Method according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterised in that in said fourth step, if said response to the remote diagnosis session request is a predefined refusal of this remote diagnosis session, said message generated by said communicating electronic equipment (EEj) in response to said remote diagnosis request is transmitted to said diagnostic tool (OD), together with a predefined value of said remote diagnosis parameter.
  6. Method according to one of the claims 1 to 5, characterised in that in said second step, in case of identity between said value and said predefined value, it is first checked whether said remote diagnosis request is authorised for said communicating electronic equipment (EEj), and then, if so, said remote diagnosis session request is transmitted to said communicating electronic equipment (EEj).
  7. System (SD) for carrying out remote diagnostics of vehicles (V), each comprising a communication module (MC) suitable for communicating by means of waves and coupled to on-board communicating electronic equipment (EEj), comprising i) a diagnostic tool (OD) suitable for generating a remote diagnostic request associated with a value of a remote diagnostic parameter to a communicating electronic equipment (EEj) of a vehicle (V), and ii) processing means (MT) arranged to compare said value with a predefined value, and in case of identity between the latter to trigger the transmission of a remote diagnosis session request to said communicating electronic equipment (EEj), and then, in case of receipt of a response to said request generated by the latter (EEj) and representing a predefined acceptance or refusal of said remote diagnosis session to trigger the transmission of said remote diagnosis request to said communicating electronic equipment (EEj), so that the latter (EEj) generates a response message to said remote diagnosis request for said diagnostic tool (OD)
    and in that if the response is neither an acceptance of the remote diagnosis session nor a predefined refusal of this remote diagnosis session, then the processing means (MT) transmit to the diagnosis tool (OD) a response message signalling that a condition is not met, the remote diagnosis request not being transmitted to the communicating electronic equipment (EEj), a predefined refusal being a refusal to participate in the remote diagnosis session requested by the diagnosis tool (OD), and having a predefined value which is a normative value in response to a non-predefined request.
  8. System according to claim 7, characterised in that said processing means (MT) are installed in a communication server (SC) providing a communication interface between said diagnostic tool (OD) and said communication module (MC) of the vehicle (V) being diagnosed.
  9. System according to claim 7, characterised in that said processing means (MT) are installed in said communication module (MC) of the vehicle (V) comprising said communicating electronic equipment (EEj) recipient of said remote diagnosis request.
  10. System according to one of claims 7 to 9, characterised in that said processing means (MT) are arranged, in case of identity between said value and said predefined value, to first check whether said remote diagnosis request is authorised for said communicating electronic equipment (EEj) and then, if so, to trigger the transmission of said remote diagnosis session request to said communicating electronic equipment (EEj).
