- the rest part of hinge 022 extends out, and a bulge sliding piece is provided at one end toward panel 021.
- the sliding piece can insert in the waist hole 0211 of the other panel 021 and slide. Waist hole and bolt hold are provided at both sides of panel 021 respectively.
- the end size of the sliding piece is larger and forms a step to avoid the sliding piece from escaping out of waist hole 0211.
- the above-mentioned structure is only a specific configuration, and can directly establish sliding parts on panel 021 and realize sliding connection with hooks.
- the shape of panel can be further expanded: the top of panel 021 is provided with a sunken strip in vertical direction at one side to connect with the other panel 021;
- the opposite side of the other panel 021 is provided with an extended sheet in horizontal direction.
- the extended sheet of one panel 021 can lap the sunken strip.
- the horizontal lengths of sunken strip and extended sheet are exactly identical, rendering a smooth surface of the whole table top 02 when it is in its minimum state. When the table top 02 is pulled out, the sunken strip will form alternate steps and thus guarantee the integrity of table top 02 in its maximum state.

Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to the field of telescopic furniture, and more specially relates to a telescopic folding table.
- A folding table is a table with folding function. As it is characterized by convenience of folding and transport, it often appears at temporary places of entertainment such as banquet, meeting and exhibition, and becomes indispensable furniture for hotel and exhibition.
- In consideration of the requirement of actual use size and occupied space, some folding tables appear in the prior art to realize the adjustment of table plate area.
- Chinese patent application
201020641624.9 - A table is indispensable in daily life and work. A folding table and chair can greatly facilitate the handling in outdoor activity. However, common folding tables can only retract table legs or directly bent the table top from the middle seam. Thus, the length of table top cannot be freely adjusted, or can only be used by 2 or 4 persons. A larger table can be used by more people. With a large table, carriage is inconvenient for many persons. With a small table, the table is not large enough for many persons. Hence, a common outdoor folding table is hard to meet the needs for different lengths of table top.
- How to design a telescopic folding table to meet different needs in outdoor use at present is a technical problem to solve by the persons skilled in the art.
- The present invention aims at solving the above-mentioned shortcomings in the prior art by providing a telescopic folding table with rational structure, large range of table area adjustment and good integrity of table plate.
- The technical scheme used by the present invention to solve the above-mentioned problems is:
- The present invention discloses a telescopic folding table composed of a table plate and a support foot frames to set up the table plate. The said table plate comprises a plurality of panels and connecting pieces to connect adjacent panels. The front ends and rear ends of said panel are provided with sliding grooves. The panels of the table plate are set up in order from left to right. Both ends of each connecting piece are connected to two corresponding adjacent panels respectively. One end of the connecting piece is mounted in the sliding groove of one panel, so that the connecting piece can slide in the sliding groove of a panel or rotate around one end of the connecting piece.
- The other end of the connecting piece is hinged to the end of the other panel, so that the connecting piece can rotate around the other end of the connecting piece. The other end of the connecting piece can be either mounted in the sliding groove at the end of the other panel so that the connecting piece can slide in the sliding groove of the other panel or rotate around the other end of the connecting piece. When the distance between panels is small, the length of the table plate is short and the area of table plate is correspondingly small. When pulling out the panels on both sides of table plate, the connecting pieces slide in the sliding grooves and the distance between the panels is increased, so that the area of the table plate is correspondingly enlarged. The panel is integrally provided with a cover plate for covering the clearance between adjacent panels. Thus, with increasing distance between the panels, the cover plate can always cover the clearance between adjacent panels, so that the whole table top has always no clearance in the whole course of table area variation.
- Preferably, a support foot frame is composed of the first left telescoping leg, the first right telescoping leg, the second left telescoping leg, the second right telescoping leg, the first telescoping cross rod and the second telescoping cross rod. The first telescoping cross rod is composed of the first left cross rod and the first right cross rod, and the second telescoping cross rod is composed of the second left cross rod and the second right cross rod. The first left telescoping leg, the first right telescoping leg, the second left telescoping leg and the second right telescoping leg are mounted on the first left cross rod and the first right cross rod, the second left cross rod and the second right cross rod respectively. The first left cross rod is movably mounted on the first right cross rod to adjust the length of the first telescopic cross rod, and the second left cross rod is movably mounted on the second right cross rod to adjust the length of the second telescopic cross rod. Both ends of the panel are set up on the first telescoping cross rod and the second telescoping cross rod respectively. We can adjust the lengths of the first telescoping cross rod and the second telescoping cross rod by adopting the above-mentioned structure, so that the support foot frames can fit the table area variation, providing a better support and guaranteeing a rational occupying area.
Preferably, one end of the connecting piece is provided with a slide head protruding from the connecting piece. The said slide head can be movably set up in the sliding groove of sliding seat. The panel and the cover plate have an integrated connecting structure. The front ends and rear ends of the panel communicate with intercommunicating pores. Both ends of the intercommunicating pore are mounted to a sliding seat in which sliding grooves are provided. The integrated structure of the panel and the cover plate as well as the design of the intercommunicating pore fit the production process of extrusion molding, especially for aluminum. The setting of the intercommunicating pore significantly reduces the weight of the product and makes the product light and convenient. The sliding seat can also be rapidly mounted using the intercommunicating pore, greatly promoting the assembly efficiency. - Preferably, the upper end of the panel takes a structure of step. The said step structure is composed of the first plane and the second plane and the connecting plane that connects the first plane and the second plane. The high plane and the low plane are parallel. The upper surface of the first plane is positioned at the same plane as that of the cover plate, and the height difference between the
first plane 113 and thesecond plane 114 equals the thickness of the cover plate. Thus, when the lower surface of a cover plate of either panel sustains the second plane, the upper surface of said panel is flush with the first plane of the adjacent cover plate, so that the upper surface of the whole table top is smooth. - Preferably, the panels at both ends of table plate are connected to both ends of the first telescoping cross rod and the second telescoping cross rod through snap fasteners. By adopting the above-mentioned structure, we can directly pull out the first telescopic cross rod and the second telescopic cross rod to prolong the two rods and extend both ends of the table plate and enlarge the area of the table plate. On the contrary, the reverse operation of the first telescopic cross rod and the second telescopic cross rod can shorten the two rods and reduce the area of the table plate. As a result, the linkage between the support foot frame and the table plate reduces the operation procedure and promote performance, saving the trouble to operate the support foot frames and the table plate individually for adjustment. By adopting snap fasteners, the combination and separation of the table plate and the support foot frames are simple and easy.
- Preferably, the first left cross rod and the second left cross rod are provided with a trough respectively. The first right cross rod and the second right cross rod are movably connected in the troughs of the first left cross rod and the first right cross rod respectively. The first right cross rod and the second right cross rod are provided with a compression spring groove respectively in which are provided a fastener and a compression spring to sustain the fastener to the inner wall of trough. Both ends of the compression spring sustain the bottom of the compression spring groove and fastener respectively. The inner walls of troughs of the first left cross rod and the second left cross rod are provided with fastener holes to allow fasteners to snap in. The fasteners are provided with slants to fit the fastener holes. Thus, in the course of extending of the first telescopic cross rod and the second telescopic cross rod, the fasteners that formerly sustained the inner wall of trough gradually close the fastener holes, and when they are aligned with the fastener holes, the fasteners will insert in the fastener holes under the pressure of spring, and then the first telescopic cross rod and the second telescopic cross rod can be extended no more. To shorten the first telescopic cross rod and the second telescopic cross rod, due to the setting of slant, the edges of fastener hole press the slant and the fasteners are pressed by the edges of fastener hole, so that the first telescopic cross rod and the second telescopic cross rod can be shortened. The said slant can also be replaced by arc.
- Preferably, the first left telescoping leg, the first right telescoping leg, the second left telescoping leg and the second right telescoping leg are movably mounted on the first left cross rod, the first right cross rod, the second left cross rod and the second right cross rod respectively. The support foot frames also comprises left connecting frame and right connecting frame. The left connecting frame is composed of the first left connecting rod, the second left connecting rod, the third left connecting rod, the fourth left connecting rod, the first left hinge seat, the second left hinge seat, the third left hinge seat and the fourth left hinge seat. One end of the first left connecting rod is hinged to the first left hinge seat. The first left hinge seat is hinged to one end of the first left cross rod. The middle part of the first left connecting rod is hinged to the middle part of the fourth left connecting rod. The other end of the first left connecting rod is hinged to one end of the second left connecting rod. The middle part of the second left connecting rod is hinged to the middle part of the third left connecting rod. The other end of the second left connecting rod is hinged to the second left hinge seat. The second left hinge seat is hinged to one end of the second left cross rod. One end of the third left connecting rod is hinged to one end of the fourth left connecting rod. The other end of the third left connecting rod and the other end of the fourth left connecting rod are hinged to the third left hinge seat and the fourth left hinge seat respectively. The third left hinge seat and the fourth left hinge seat are hinged to the second left telescoping leg and the first left telescoping leg respectively. The right connecting frame is composed of the first right connecting rod, the second right connecting rod, the third right connecting rod, the fourth right connecting rod, the first right hinge seat, the second right hinge seat, the third right hinge seat and the fourth right hinge seat. One end of the first right connecting rod is hinged to the first right hinge seat. The first right hinge seat is hinged to one end of the first right cross rod. The middle part of the first right connecting rod is hinged to the middle part of the fourth right connecting rod. The other end of the first right connecting rod is hinged to one end of the second right connecting rod. The middle part of the second right connecting rod is hinged to the middle part of the third right connecting rod. The other end of the second right connecting rod is hinged to the second right hinge seat. One end of the third right connecting rod is hinged to one end of the fourth right connecting rod. The other end of the third right connecting rod and the other end of the fourth right connecting rod are hinged to the third right hinge seat and the fourth right hinge seat respectively. The third right hinge seat and the fourth right hinge seat are respectively hinged to the first right telescoping leg and the second right telescoping leg. By adopting the above-mentioned structure, we can rotate the first left telescoping leg, the first right telescoping leg, the second left telescoping leg and the second right telescoping leg, so that the first left telescoping leg, the first right telescoping leg, the second left telescoping leg and the second right telescoping leg are folded on the first left cross rod, the first right cross rod, the second left cross rod and the second right cross rod respectively. The first left connecting rod, the second left connecting rod, the third left connecting rod and the fourth left connecting rod form a parallelogram mechanism, and the first right connecting rod, the second right connecting rod, the third right connecting rod and the fourth right connecting rod also form a parallelogram mechanism. Thus, the parallelogram mechanism formed by folding the first left connecting rod, the second left connecting rod, the third left connecting rod and the fourth left connecting rod leads the first left cross rod and the second left cross rod to merge, and the parallelogram mechanism formed by folding the first right connecting rod, the second right connecting rod, the third right connecting rod and the fourth right connecting rod leads the first right cross rod and the second right cross rod to merge, realizing the folding of support foot frames.
- Preferably, both ends of the first right cross rod and the second right cross rod communicate through pipe holes. One end of pipe hole is inserted with a compression spring seat. The said compression spring groove is provided on the said compression spring seat. The first right cross rod and the second right cross rod are provided with projecting holes to allow fasteners to snap in, and the said projecting holes match the positions of compression spring groove. Consequently during assembling, mount the compression spring and fastener in the compression spring groove and insert the compression spring seat in the pipe hole to fix the compression spring seat. Now under the pressure of compression spring, the fastener extends out of the pipe hole from the fastener hole, and sustains on the inner wall of trough so as to realize the assembling of compression spring, fastener and compression spring seat. Preferably, the compression spring seat is provided with two elastic leaves on both sides. The first right cross rod and the second right cross rod are provided with two snap-in holes to match elastic leaves. By adopting this structure, we can rapidly and conveniently insert the compression spring seat in the pipe hole of the first left cross rod and fix it in the pipe hole.
- Compared to the prior art, the present invention is characterized by the following advantages and effects: by increasing or decreasing the distance between the panels, we can realize the corresponding adjustment of overall area of table plate. The range of adjustment is large. The connection of the panels by using connecting pieces enhances the integrity of the table plate, and can realize the folding and storing of the table plate. The setting of the cover plate makes no clearance at the whole table top in the course of table area variation.
- Aiming at solving the above-mentioned technical problems, the present invention still provides a kind of telescopic folding table, comprising:
- A table frame can be formed by at least two table tubes in sliding connection; Table top formed by multiple panels with same configuration, and said panels can slide on the top of table frame; table legs that are movably set up at both sides of the bottom of table frame and can be folded.
- Preferably, said panel is provided with prolate waist holes at both sides; two adjacent panels are movably connected through hinge. One end of said hinge is fixed at said panel, and the other end can insert in said waist hole of the other panel and slide.
- Preferably, the top of said panel is provided with a sunken strip at one side, while protruding outwards at the other side. The horizontal lengths of the sunken strip and the protruded sheet are identical.
- Preferably, the two said panels at both ends are fixed at the top of said table frame with bolts.
- Preferably, said table frame comprises two table tubes and extends the same length as said table top does.
- Preferably, the cross section of said table frame is provided with grooves to mount said panels.
- Preferably, the table leg support bars are movably set up between table frame and table leg. Said table leg support bar comprises two rotatable and folding sections.
- Preferably, the width of one said table leg is smaller than that of the other said table leg.
- The telescopic folding table provided by the present invention comprises a table frame, panels and table legs. The table frame and the panels can slide freely to realizing extension and retraction to change the length of the table top. The table frame is composed of at least two table tubes in sliding connection, and the two sections can slide toward each other. The table top is formed by multiple panels with the same configuration. The panel can slide at the top of the table frame to change the distance between two adjacent panels. The table legs are movably set up at the bottom of the table frame to facilitate the folding. The folding table provided by the present invention can enable the table frame and the table top to slide respectively to change the whole length between both ends of table top and to meet the needs of clients for different lengths of the table.

Example 3 corresponds to
Fig.11 to Fig. 18 . -
Fig. 11 is an explosive view of the assembly of the telescopic folding table of the present invention. The folding table is chiefly composed oftable frame 01,table top 02 andtable leg 03.Table frame 01 comprises at least two table tubes to join together. The figures of the present invention give out a pattern of two table tubes to join together. Two table tubes take a hollow structure but have different dimensions. The outer wall of one pipe contacts the inner wall of the other pipe, and both pipes can slide. To ensure the slide would not exceed the limit and let two table tubes go apart, the large-size pipe is provided with a limit bolt at its end, and the larger pipe will be stopped by the small-size table tube when reaching specified position. In this example, table frame 01 is a rectangle pane that is composed of two table tubes, and each table tube takes a U-type form. One U-type table tube has a smaller size only at both ends to insert in the other U-type table tube rather than the cross section size of the whole table tube. The step formed by small-size U-type table tube props against the end of the other table tube, and at this time thetable top 2 of the whole folding table is in the minimum state.Fig. 12 is a partial enlarged image of sliding place of matched table frames 01.Fig. 13 is a sectional structure of table frames 01 in the state of matched installation.Table frame 01 is provided with grooves in the cross section along horizontal direction.Table frame 01 on both sides is provided with grooves with opposite opening direction. Both ends ofpanel 21 oftable top 02 can insert in the said grooves to limit the movement oftable top 02 in vertical direction. The bottom oftable top 02 can provide good support. The advantage of this structure lies in preventing table top 02 from sliding out oftable frame 01 and only allowing horizontal movement. Of course, the cross sectional structure oftable frame 01 can be modified according to specific requirement without restriction. -
Table top 02 is a flat plate that is constituted bymultiple panels 02 of the same shape and structure. The cross sectional shape of each panel is the same. Twoadjacent panels 021 can be connected by sliding toward each other in a considerable range, thus changing the distance between twopanels 021, adjusting the length oftable top 02, and changing the using area of thewhole table top 02.Table frame 01 is provided with relevant groove, and everypanel 21 can slide on the top oftable frame 01. -
Table legs 03 are provided in the sides of bottom oftable frame 01 at both ends.Table legs 03 are movably connected withtable frame 01.Table legs 03 are vertical to tableframe 01 in the state of use.Table legs 03 can turn 90 degrees to place horizontally withtable frame 01 in folded state, occupying less space. In addition, to ensure the supporting stability oftable legs 03, tableleg support bar 031 was provided betweentable frame 01 andtable leg 03. Tableleg support bar 031 is movably set up in two sections. All the connections between tableleg support bar 031,table frame 01 andtable leg 03 are movably connected. Two sections are also movably connected for the convenience of folding. A clamping piece is provided to keep table two leg support bars 031 straight and reliable in normal use. - Particularly,
Fig. 14 displays an assembly oftable top 02 -- a specific structure of the present invention.Panel 021 is a flat plate of a considerable thickness, and is provided with aprolate waist hole 0211 on both sides respectively. Twoadjacent panels 021 are movably connected throughhinge 022.Hinge 022 is a prolate block structure with bolt hole at one end, and can be fixed at the edge ofpanel 021 with a bolt. The rest part ofhinge 022 extends out, and a bulge sliding piece is provided at one end towardpanel 021. The sliding piece can insert in thewaist hole 0211 of theother panel 021 and slide. Waist hole and bolt hold are provided at both sides ofpanel 021 respectively. The end size of the sliding piece is larger and forms a step to avoid the sliding piece from escaping out ofwaist hole 0211. The above-mentioned structure is only a specific configuration, and can directly establish sliding parts onpanel 021 and realize sliding connection with hooks. - Moreover, to ensure no gap between panels in any opening size and no fine crumbs falling between two
panels 021, the shape of panel can be further expanded: the top ofpanel 021 is provided with a sunken strip in vertical direction at one side to connect with theother panel 021; The opposite side of theother panel 021 is provided with an extended sheet in horizontal direction. In other words, the extended sheet of onepanel 021 can lap the sunken strip. The horizontal lengths of sunken strip and extended sheet are exactly identical, rendering a smooth surface of thewhole table top 02 when it is in its minimum state. When thetable top 02 is pulled out, the sunken strip will form alternate steps and thus guarantee the integrity oftable top 02 in its maximum state. - Moreover, since
panel 21 can slide ontable frame 01, the two panels at the ends oftable frame 01 can be fixed with bolts to guarantee the stability oftable top 02, while other panels can slide normally. The length ofwaist hole 0211 provided inpanel 021 matches the length to connecttable frame 01, so that the extending length oftable frame 01 is identical to the length that table top 02 can extend. - In order to prevent two
table legs 03 from affecting each other in folding state, the width of twotable legs 03 is smaller than that of other twotable legs 03.Fig. 15 is anisometric view of the folding table in the course of folding, and the arrow direction is the folding direction oftable legs 03.Fig. 16 is anisometric view of the folding table in folded state. Since the widths of table legs are different, to ensure the normal installation of tableleg support bar 031, a structure protruding inwards is provided at the small-size side to facilitate the installation of the small-size table legs 03 and the tableleg support bar 031. -
Fig. 17 and Fig. 18 are anisometric views of the folding table in the maximum use state and the minimum use state respectively. In the use, the folding table of the present invention can change its length by pulling and opening the table, and accordingly the area oftable top 02 increases to meet the needs of different sizes. In the transport, table top 02 can be retracted to the minimum state andtable legs 03 can be folded to reach the minimum volume, thus occupying less space and using flexibly and conveniently. - The above description of published embodiments enables the persons skilled in the art to realize or use the present invention. Various changes to these embodiments may be evident to those skilled in the art. The general theory specified by the present invention may be realized in other examples without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Hence, the present invention shall not be limited to the embodiment shown in this paper but conform to the widest range of principles and novel features that are disclosed in this paper.
