Abstract

Bei der Behandlung von Wäschestücke (10) in Wäschereien kommt es vor, dass die angelieferte Schmutzwäsche Fremdkörper aufweisen. Damit die Wäschestücke (10) während der Behandlung nicht beschädigt werden, müssen die einzelnen Wäschestücke (10) vor der Behandlung händisch auf Fremdkörper inspiziert werden. Das ist sehr zeitaufwendig und somit teuer. Außerdem gilt es zu vermeiden, dass sich bei der Behandlung der Wäschestücke (10) nasse bzw. feuchte Stellen bilden. Die Erfindung schafft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung, mit der Wäschestücke (10) auf eine günstige und zuverlässige Weise inspizierbar sind. Dazu ist es vorgesehen, dass die Wäschestücke (10) mit Terahertz-Strahlung (11) beaufschlagt werden, um zu prüfen, ob die Wäschestücke (10) Fremdkörper und/oder nasse bzw. feuchte Stellen aufweisen.
