  • Fig. 3 is an assembled sectional view of the assembly-type ornament according to the present invention and Fig. 4 is an exploded perspective view of the assembly-type ornament according to the present invention with cutout edges formed in a holder.
  • Fig. 5 is an assembled sectional view of the assembly-type ornament according to the present invention with the cutout edges formed in the holder.
  • Referring to Figs. 1 to 5, the assembly-type ornament according to the present invention includes a male body 100, a female body 200, and a coupling object 10.
  • The coupling object 10 may be a bag, a cloth or the like. The coupling object 10 is formed therethrough with a mounting hole 11 for installation of the assembly-type ornament of the present invention.
  • The male body 100 is placed on an outer surface of the coupling object 10 when coupled to the female body 200 and includes an insert 110 protruding from one surface thereof to be inserted into the mounting hole 11.
  • Preferably, the male body 100 is formed of a metallic or resin-based material (for example, an acrylic resin) capable of being elastically restored after deformation.
  • The insert 110 is configured to be mated with a holder 210 described below and has a insertion hole 220 formed through the center thereof.
  • Referring to Fig. 1, the insert 110 may protrude in a cylindrical shape and the mounting hole 11 of the coupling object 10 may have a shape corresponding to the insert 120.
  • In addition, the insert 110 may include a locking groove 111 formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof. The locking groove 111 is a groove into which a locking protrusion 211 described below is locked.
  • As shown in Fig. 1, when the insert 110 has a cylindrical shape, the locking groove 111 may be continuously formed (in a ring shape) along the circumferential surface of the insert 120.
  • Since the locking groove 111 has a smaller outer diameter than the insert 110, a step is formed between the locking groove 111 and the outer circumferential surface of the insert 110 due to the difference in diameter.
  • Further, a decorative article 20 may be formed on or attached to a surface of the male body opposite the coupling object 10. Here, the male body may have a groove or the like to which the decorative article 20 can be attached.
  • In other words, a logo or the like is formed (for example, printed or molded) on one surface of the male body 100, or an accessory or the like is attached to the surface of the male body to display a trademark or the like of the coupling object 10 or to provide a pleasant appearance.
  • Furthermore, the male body 100 is formed at a front edge thereof with an inclined surface 112 that has a diameter gradually decreasing toward the front.
  • The inclined surface 112 serves to guide the locking protrusion 211 rearwards while allowing the locking protrusion 211 to expand outwards when the insert 110 is inserted into the insertion hole 220 of the coupling object 10.
  • In other words, the inclined surface 112 guides a holder 210 described below to be bent outwards while contacting a protruding end of the locking protrusion 211, as shown in Fig. 3.
  • Thus, when the insert 110 is mated with the holder 210 described below, a front end of the holder 210 can be easily slidably engaged without being caught by the front end of the insert 110.
  • In addition, the insert 110 is formed at a rear end thereof with a large diameter portion 120 such that the periphery of the large diameter portion 120 can be caught by one surface of the coupling object 10. Here, the insert 110 protrudes from one surface of the large diameter portion 120.
  • The female body 200 is coupled to the male body 100 inside the coupling object 10. Here, the coupling object 10 may be placed between the female body 200 and the male body 100.
  • Preferably, the female body 200 is formed of a metal or resin-based material (for example, an acrylic resin) capable of being elastically restored after deformation.
  • The female body 200 includes the holder 210 that protrudes from one surface of the female body 200 to be coupled to the insert 110. The holder 210 is formed therein with an insertion hole 220 to receive the insert 110.
  • In addition, the holder 210 includes a locking protrusion 211 protruding from an inner circumferential surface thereof to be locked into the locking groove 111 formed on the outer circumferential surface of the insert 110.
  • Referring to Fig. 1, the holder 210 may protrude in a cylindrical shape and the mounting hole 11 of the coupling object 10 may have a shape corresponding to the insert 110.
  • As shown in Fig. 1, when the insert 110 has a cylindrical shape, the locking protrusion 211 may be continuously formed (in a ring shape) along the circumferential surface of the insert 110.
  • Since the locking protrusion 211 has a greater outer diameter than the holder 210, a step is formed between the locking protrusion 211 and the inner circumferential surface of the holder 210 due to the difference in diameter.
  • In addition, the holder 210 is formed at a rear end thereof with a large diameter portion 230 such that the periphery of the large diameter portion 230 can be caught by the other surface of the coupling object 10. Here, the holder 210 protrudes from one surface of the large diameter portion 230.
  • Referring to Fig. 5, a plurality of cutout edges 212 is formed at predetermined intervals along an outer circumferential surface of the front end of the holder 210. The cutout edges 212 serve to allow the front end of the holder 210 to expand outwards when the insert 110 is inserted into the insertion hole 220.
  • Here, the cutout edges 212 may have a predetermined length in a longitudinal direction and the number of the cutout edges 212 may vary as needed.
  • The holder 210 may have a cylindrical shape corresponding to the insert 110. In this case, the holder 210 and the insert 110 may be rotated in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the holder is coupled to the insert.
  • In other words, the insert 110 can be rotated with respect to the holder 210, such that the decorative article 20 attached to or formed on one surface of the holder 210 can be freely rotated.
  • In the assembly-type ornament according to the present invention, when the insert 110 is inserted into the insertion hole 220 of the holder 210, the insert 110 is advanced with the inner circumferential surfaces of the locking protrusions 211 contacting the inclined surface 112 formed at the front end of the insert 110.
  • Here, the locking protrusions 211 expand outwards with the cutout edges 212 interposed therebetween. When the holder 210 is completely coupled to the insert 110, the front end of the holder 210 is elastically restored to an original shape thereof.
  • As a result, the locking protrusions 211 of the holder 210 are locked in the locking groove 111 of the insert 110 so as not to be movable back and forth.
  • In this state, since the locking protrusions 211 are interlocked with the locking groove 111, the male body 100 can be coupled to the female body 200 with the coupling object 10 interposed therebetween.
  • Here, the large diameter portion 120 of the male body 100 and the large diameter portion 230 of the female body 200 can hold both sides of the coupling object 10 in both directions, respectively.
  • The assembly-type ornament according to the present invention includes the insert and the holder configured to be mated with each other and formed with the locking groove and the locking protrusion, respectively, wherein the inclined surface is formed at the front edge of the insert to eliminate a need for a separate coupling mechanism or an adhesive and to reduce mutual interference during assembly, thereby facilitating assembly.
  • In addition, the assembly-type ornament according to the present invention has the cutout edges formed at the front end of the holder, such that when the holder is coupled to the insert, the front end of the holder can be elastically restored after extending outward, thereby further facilitating assembly.
  • Although some embodiments have been described herein, it should be understood by those skilled in the art that these embodiments are given by way of illustration only, and that various modifications, variations and alterations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
  • Therefore, the embodiments and the accompanying drawings are provided for illustration only and should not be construed as limiting the present invention.
  • The scope of the invention should be interpreted according to the following appended claims as covering all modifications or variations derived from the appended claims and equivalents thereof.
