Definitions
- the invention relates to a pair of electrical connectors, having a first connector part and a second connector part, which can be connected to one another by means of a plug connection, so that an electrical contact provided in the first connector part can be galvanically contacted with an electrical contact provided in the second connector part.
- a connector coupling comprises two connector housings that can be coupled together.
- the two connector housings can be locked together by means of a snap connection, so that an unwanted loosening of the connector can be counteracted.
- Another connector system is from the DE 10 2010 017 262 A1 known. In this case, a connector plug that is plugged onto a base housing is locked via a locking device that can be plugged onto the base housing and the connector plug from above.
- the invention thus lies in a pair of electrical connectors with a first connector part and a second connector part which can be connected to one another by means of a plug connection, so that an electrical contact provided in the first connector part can be galvanically contacted with an electrical contact provided in the second connector part, characterized in that that the first connector part has a locking element with a locking hook which, in a locked state, engages with a hook receptacle provided in the second connector part can be brought so that in the locking state the locking hook brought into engagement with the hook receptacle counteracts separation of the two connector parts from one another, the locking element in the first connector part is pivotally mounted about a pivot axis, so that the locking hook can be detached from the hook receptacle by pivoting the locking element , in a guide provided in the locking element, a locking bolt which is longitudinally displaceable in the guide is arranged, so that the locking bolt can be inserted or removed from such a bolt receptacle due to a longitudinal displacement which is arranged in a
- both a locking bolt and a bolt receptacle are provided in a connector part of the electrical connector pair according to the invention, into which the locking bolt can be inserted or from which the locking bolt can be removed. Due to the arrangement of the locking bolt in a locking element pivotably mounted within the connector part, pivoting of the locking element can be blocked when the locking bolt is inserted into the bolt receptacle. However, this means that a locking hook attached to the locking element can no longer be brought out of a hook receptacle provided in the other connector part, so that a secure locking of the two connector parts to one another is ensured. First when the locking bolt is guided out of the bolt receptacle again, the locking element can be pivoted again so that the locking hook can be brought out of the hook receptacle.
- the locking element has a manually actuable actuation area, the application of force of which leads to a pivoting of the locking element in such a way that the locking hook is released from the hook receptacle, that is to say is preferably pivoted out of the hook recess.
- Such an actuation area of the locking element is therefore preferably arranged such that it can be pressed from the outside by means of a hand or a tool, so that the desired pivoting of the locking element is achieved due to the associated application of force, so that the locking hook is released from the hook receptacle .
- the locking bolt can be designed as a simple pin, which is mounted in the guide with axial play and can thus be inserted into the bolt receptacle to lock the two connector parts together.
- the bolt receptacle can be designed as a simple bore, for example in the housing of the first connector part.
- the locking bolt is a threaded screw and the bolt receptacle has a suitable one for the threaded screw Internal thread, namely is preferably designed as a threaded nut, so that the threaded screw can be screwed into the internal thread of the bolt receptacle.
- This preferred embodiment of the invention is particularly advantageous in that, by screwing the locking bolt designed as a threaded screw into the internal thread of the bolt receptacle designed as a threaded nut, even under mechanical stress, such as vibrations acting on the electrical connector pair, there is no unwanted detachment of the locking bolt from the bolt receptacle fear.
- the threaded screw is preferably held captive in the guide, but with axial play.
- the locking element has a spring tongue with which the locking element rests on a support provided within the first connector part in such a way that the locking hook is forced into the hook receptacle when the two connector parts are inserted.
- the spring tongue is designed and attached to the locking element such that whenever the locking hook is pivoted out of the area of the hook receptacle, such a restoring force is brought about on the locking element that the locking hook is pivoted back accordingly. In this way it is ensured that, without external action on the locking element in the locked state, the locking hook always has its equilibrium position in the inserted state within the hook receptacle.
- the locking element can be pivoted within the first connector part in different ways.
- a pin is arranged in the interior of the first connector part, and the locking element has a pin receptacle with which it sits on the pin, so that the locking element can be pivoted around the pin.
- the pivot axis thus runs within the pin, around which the locking element can be pivoted. Additional moving parts can be avoided. This makes the production of the first connector part, in particular as an injection molded part, particularly simple.
- the locking hook has a run-on slope which comes into contact with a corresponding surface of the second connector part when the two connector parts are plugged in, so that the locking hook is deflected in a direction perpendicular to the plugging direction. Similar to the case of a conventional lock, the locking hook can move back when the two connector parts are plugged together due to the run-on slope, namely deflected perpendicular to the plug-in direction, in order then to snap back behind the corresponding surface of the second connector part and come into engagement with the hook receptacle . It is therefore not necessary to actively pivot the locking hook in order to bring it into engagement with the hook receptacle.
- the locking hook is rigidly connected to the locking element, so that a deflection of the locking hook perpendicular to the direction of insertion causes the locking element to pivot. If this pivoting of the locking element is blocked, e.g. since the locking bolt is inserted into the bolt receptacle, the locking hook cannot be deflected, so that the two connector parts cannot be locked together.
- the locking hook is elastically connected to the locking element, so that a deflection of the locking hook perpendicular to the plugging direction is also possible without pivoting the locking element.
- the first connector part 1 is a connector strip which can be inserted into the second connector part 2, which is designed as a base strip.
- electrical contacts provided in the first connector part 1 and not shown in detail here can be brought into galvanically conductive contact with corresponding electrical contacts provided in the second connector part.
- the first connector part 1 has a locking element 3, of which in the 1 and 2 essentially a manually operable actuation area 7 can be seen.
- a force can be applied to this actuation area 7 by means of a finger of a user or a tool, in order to unlock the two connector parts from one another, as shown in detail below.
- FIG. 3 which shows the two connector parts 1, 2 with the top removed, that the locking element 3 is provided with a locking hook 4. Its operation and its interaction with the second connector part 2 is described below with reference to the 4, 5 and 6 explained, each showing sectional views of the electrical connector pair in the inserted state.
- Fig. 4 shows the electrical connector pair according to the preferred embodiment of the invention, in which the first connector part 1 is inserted into the second connector part 2. A locking of the first connector part 1 with the second connector part 2 is ensured by means of the locking hook 4 of the locking element 3, which is in engagement with a hook receptacle 5 provided in the second locking part 2. The fact that the locking hook 4 engages in the hook receptacle 5 counteracts a separation of the first connector part 1 from the second connector part 2.
- the locking element 3 is pivotally mounted in the connector part 1 about a pivot axis 6.
- the locking element 3 has a pin receptacle 14 into which a pin 13 arranged on the housing of the first connector part 1 engages. In this way, the locking element 3 can be pivoted overall about the pivot axis 6 defined by the pin 13.
- Fig. 5 Removable which shows an unlocking of the locking hook 4 from the hook receptacle 5, can be indicated by a force acting on the actuating area 7 of the locking element 3, indicated by a downward pointing arrow, the locking hook 4 are pivoted out of the hook receptacle 5.
- a spring tongue 11 which is fastened to the locking element 3 and rests on a support 13 arranged in the first connector part 1, the locking element 3 is pretensioned overall in such a way that it counteracts the application of force to the actuation area 7 of the locking element 3 and, in the state of equilibrium, the locking hooks when the connector pair is inserted 4 engages in the hook receptacle 5.
- a locking bolt 9 which is designed as a threaded screw and is guided in an axial direction but cannot be lost, is not inserted into a bolt receptacle 10 which is arranged on the housing of the first connector part 1.
- This enables the locking element 3 to be pivoted freely by applying force to the actuating region 7, so that the locking element 3 can pivot, as in FIG Fig. 5 shown, and thus also a pivoting out of the locking hook 4 from the hook receptacle 5 is possible.
- Fig. 6 shows that the locking bolt 9 designed as a threaded screw is screwed into the bolt receptacle 10 designed as a threaded nut. This prevents pivoting of the locking element 3.
- the locking element 3 can namely no longer be moved.
- the first connector part 1 can be connected to the second connector part 2 even when the locking bolt 9 is screwed to the bolt receptacle 10 put together and locked.
- the locking hook 4 is namely elastically connected to the locking element 3, so that the locking hook 4 can be pivoted perpendicular to the plugging direction, without the pivoting of the locking element 3 being necessary at the same time.
- the locking hook can deflect perpendicular to the plugging direction when it comes into contact with a corresponding surface of the second connector part 2. This is particularly facilitated by the fact that the locking hook 4 is provided with a run-on slope 15, which supports a movement of the lock hook 4 perpendicular to the plug-in direction when the run-up slope 15 meets a corresponding surface 16 of the second connector part 2.
- first connector part 1 with the second connector part 2 can also enter into a plug connection with locking when the locking bolt 9 is already fixed in the bolt receptacle 10.
- first connector part 1 can be pre-assembled accordingly with the locking bolt 9 locked in the bolt receptacle 10, so that the measure for locking the first connector part 1 with the second connector part 2 can no longer be forgotten by a user when the pair of connectors is inserted.
Description
The invention relates to a pair of electrical connectors, having a first connector part and a second connector part, which can be connected to one another by means of a plug connection, so that an electrical contact provided in the first connector part can be galvanically contacted with an electrical contact provided in the second connector part.
These constructions known from the prior art can in some cases only be operated from one another with additional outlay against unintentional loosening of the connector pair or cannot be uncoupled from one another again in a simple manner.
It is therefore the object of the invention to provide such an electrical connector pair which has an easy-to-use construction to avoid unintentional detachment of the connector parts of the connector pair from one another and at the same time prevents an undesired opening of the lock in a safe manner.
This object is achieved by the subject matter of
The invention thus lies in a pair of electrical connectors with a first connector part and a second connector part which can be connected to one another by means of a plug connection, so that an electrical contact provided in the first connector part can be galvanically contacted with an electrical contact provided in the second connector part, characterized in that that the first connector part has a locking element with a locking hook which, in a locked state, engages with a hook receptacle provided in the second connector part can be brought so that in the locking state the locking hook brought into engagement with the hook receptacle counteracts separation of the two connector parts from one another, the locking element in the first connector part is pivotally mounted about a pivot axis, so that the locking hook can be detached from the hook receptacle by pivoting the locking element , in a guide provided in the locking element, a locking bolt which is longitudinally displaceable in the guide is arranged, so that the locking bolt can be inserted or removed from such a bolt receptacle due to a longitudinal displacement which is arranged in a region of the first connector part which is different from the locking element, so that when the locking bolt is inserted into the bolt receptacle, a pivoting movement of the locking element is blocked.
It is therefore an essential point of the invention that both a locking bolt and a bolt receptacle are provided in a connector part of the electrical connector pair according to the invention, into which the locking bolt can be inserted or from which the locking bolt can be removed.
A pivoting of the locking element to unlock the two connector parts of the connector pair from each other can be effected in different ways. According to a preferred development of the invention, however, it is provided that the locking element has a manually actuable actuation area, the application of force of which leads to a pivoting of the locking element in such a way that the locking hook is released from the hook receptacle, that is to say is preferably pivoted out of the hook recess. Such an actuation area of the locking element is therefore preferably arranged such that it can be pressed from the outside by means of a hand or a tool, so that the desired pivoting of the locking element is achieved due to the associated application of force, so that the locking hook is released from the hook receptacle .
Basically, the locking bolt can be designed as a simple pin, which is mounted in the guide with axial play and can thus be inserted into the bolt receptacle to lock the two connector parts together. In this respect, the bolt receptacle can be designed as a simple bore, for example in the housing of the first connector part. According to a preferred development of the invention, however, the locking bolt is a threaded screw and the bolt receptacle has a suitable one for the threaded screw Internal thread, namely is preferably designed as a threaded nut, so that the threaded screw can be screwed into the internal thread of the bolt receptacle. This preferred embodiment of the invention is particularly advantageous in that, by screwing the locking bolt designed as a threaded screw into the internal thread of the bolt receptacle designed as a threaded nut, even under mechanical stress, such as vibrations acting on the electrical connector pair, there is no unwanted detachment of the locking bolt from the bolt receptacle fear. The threaded screw is preferably held captive in the guide, but with axial play.
According to a preferred development of the invention, it is further provided that the locking element has a spring tongue with which the locking element rests on a support provided within the first connector part in such a way that the locking hook is forced into the hook receptacle when the two connector parts are inserted. In other words, the spring tongue is designed and attached to the locking element such that whenever the locking hook is pivoted out of the area of the hook receptacle, such a restoring force is brought about on the locking element that the locking hook is pivoted back accordingly. In this way it is ensured that, without external action on the locking element in the locked state, the locking hook always has its equilibrium position in the inserted state within the hook receptacle.
The possibility that the locking element can be pivoted within the first connector part can be realized in different ways. Preferably, however, a pin is arranged in the interior of the first connector part, and the locking element has a pin receptacle with which it sits on the pin, so that the locking element can be pivoted around the pin. In this preferred embodiment of the invention, the pivot axis thus runs within the pin, around which the locking element can be pivoted. Additional moving parts can be avoided. This makes the production of the first connector part, in particular as an injection molded part, particularly simple.
Furthermore, according to a preferred development of the invention, it is provided that the locking hook has a run-on slope which comes into contact with a corresponding surface of the second connector part when the two connector parts are plugged in, so that the locking hook is deflected in a direction perpendicular to the plugging direction.
There are different possibilities with regard to the attachment of the locking hook to the locking element. According to one embodiment of the invention, the locking hook is rigidly connected to the locking element, so that a deflection of the locking hook perpendicular to the direction of insertion causes the locking element to pivot. If this pivoting of the locking element is blocked, e.g. since the locking bolt is inserted into the bolt receptacle, the locking hook cannot be deflected, so that the two connector parts cannot be locked together. In this respect, it is provided according to a preferred development of the invention that the locking hook is elastically connected to the locking element, so that a deflection of the locking hook perpendicular to the plugging direction is also possible without pivoting the locking element.
This makes it possible to lock the two connector parts together even when the locking bolt has already been inserted into the bolt receptacle, so that pivoting of the locking element is no longer possible. Such pivoting of the locking element is not necessary for the locking, however, if the locking hook is elastically connected to the locking element according to a preferred development of the invention and can therefore be pivoted perpendicular to the direction of insertion due to this elasticity during the plugging process in order to then automatically snap back again and to engage the hook receptacle. This offers, for example, the possibility of prefabricating the first connector part in such a way that the locking bolt already is inserted into the bolt receptacle, so that securing the locking bolt for locking the two connector parts after insertion cannot be forgotten.

Claims (9)
- Electrical plug connector pair, having a first plug connector part (1) and a second plug connector part (2) which can be connected to one another by means of a plug connection such that an electrical contact provided in the first plug connector part (1) can be brought electrically into contact with an electrical contact provided in the second plug connector part (2), wherein the first plug connector part (1) has a locking element (3) with a locking hook (4) which, in a locking state, can be brought into engagement with a hook receptacle (5) provided in the second plug connector part (2), with the result that, in the locking state, the locking hook (4) brought into engagement with the hook receptacle (5) counteracts a separation of the two plug connector parts (1, 2) from one another, and the locking element (3) in the first plug connector part (1) is mounted pivotably about a pivot axis (6) such that the locking hook (4) can be released from the hook receptacle (5) by means of a pivoting movement of the locking element (3), characterized in that there is arranged, in a guide provided in the locking element (3), a locking bolt (9) which is longitudinally displaceable in the guide, with the result that the locking bolt (9), by virtue of a longitudinal displacement, can be inserted into or guided out of such a bolt receptacle (10) which is arranged in a region of the first plug connector part (1) that is different from the locking element (3), with the result that, with the locking bolt (9) inserted into the bolt receptacle (10), a pivoting movement of the locking element (3) is blocked.
- Electrical plug connector pair according to Claim 1, characterized in that the locking element (3) has a manually actuatable actuating region (7) whose force actuation leads to such a pivoting movement of the locking element (3) that the locking hook (4) is released from, preferably pivoted out of, the hook receptacle (5).
- Electrical plug connector pair according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the locking bolt (9) is a threaded screw, and the bolt receptacle (10) has an internal thread mating with the threaded screw, preferably is a threaded nut, with the result that the threaded screw can be screwed into the internal thread of the bolt receptacle (10).
- Electrical plug connector pair according to Claim 3, characterized in that the threaded screw is held captively, but with axial play, in the guide (8).
- Electrical plug connector pair according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the locking element (3) has a spring tongue (11) by means of which the locking element (3) rests on a support (12) provided within the first plug connector part (1) in such a way that, in the plugged state of the two plug connector parts (1, 2), the locking hook (4) is forced into the hook receptacle (5).
- Electrical plug connector pair according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a pin (13) is arranged within the first plug connector part (1), and the locking element has a pin receptacle (14) by means of which it is seated on the pin (13) such that the locking element (3) can be pivoted around the pin (13).
- Electrical plug connector pair according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the locking hook (4) has a run-on slope (15) which, upon plugging the two plug connector parts (1, 2) together, comes into contact with a corresponding surface (16) of the second plug connector part (2), with the result that the locking hook (4) is deflected in a direction perpendicular to the plugging direction.
- Electrical plug connector pair according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the locking hook (4) is rigidly connected to the locking element (3) such that a deflecting of the locking hook (4) perpendicular to the plugging direction causes a pivoting movement of the locking element (3).
- Electrical plug connector pair according to one of Claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the locking hook (4) is connected elastically to the locking element (3) such that a deflection of the locking hook (4) perpendicular to the plugging direction is possible even without pivoting of the locking element (3).
