  • Containers are versatile and are used in particular for the storage, collection and disposal of materials or materials, wherein containers of all sizes and shapes are known. Waste containers intended for use in hospitals, veterinary clinics, medical and dental practices and medical research and development laboratories, in particular infectious wastes, are only used once or disposed of together with the wastes therein after they have been disposed of were sealed in a suitable manner. For this reason, it is necessary in these applications, vorzuhalten a correspondingly high number of new, empty containers that stackable because of space, so be reciprocally adjustable. Accordingly, on the one hand, empty containers are stacked and, on the other hand, the associated lids, which are typically supplied on a separate pallet. To the To improve space utilization in palletized transport, one always strives to optimize the geometric design of the lid accordingly.
  • EP 0 168 877 A1 discloses a lid of a container, the container having a bottom, a vertical axis aligned to the bottom, a circumferentially adjoining the bottom and an interior of the container enclosing jacket and an opening cross-section, which defines from a bottom of the opposite end of the shell and by means of Cover is tightly closed, has, wherein the lid is circumferentially distributed and arranged spaced apart snap hooks provided with adapted thereto also circumferentially distributed and spaced apart in a projecting from the shell of the container outwardly projecting edge flange of the container latching openings below Forming a movement of the cover in the direction of the vertical axis of the container preventing positive engagement are hooked.

  • a cover of the aforementioned type such that it is characterized by a comfortable stackability and low susceptibility to warping.
  • this object is achieved in that in a stacked state of two covers both on the underside of the upper lid and on the upper side of the lower lid in each case in a central region of the cover in question a contact area is formed and that compressive forces can be transmitted via a contact of these two contact areas in the direction of the vertical axis of the lid and that stacking dies and stacking dies prevent movement of the lid in a direction perpendicular to a vertical axis of the lid when two identical lids are stacked one above the other.
  • the Stapelpatrizen or stack matrices are distributed near the edge over the circumference of the lid, so that for the load transfer of the own weight stacked lid substantially the lid edge is claimed.
  • the stack below lids therefore tend to deform.
  • a load transfer which effectively counteracts a distortion of the cover, thus also takes place in a middle region of the cover.
  • the quality of the lid is maintained and a tight closure of a container is - assuming proper handling - guaranteed.
  • It is particularly useful if when placing the lid on a flat surface and the central contact area acts load-bearing, that is in contact with the pad. In this case, the undersides of all stacking patterns and / or matrices and of the central contact area are thus arranged in the same plane as possible.
  • the interior of the container facing Stapelpatrizen or stacking matrices and located on the underside of the lid contact area have footprints that are in the same plane perpendicular to the vertical axis. For example, if a lid has four stacking dies at the bottom As well as the central contact area, the lid is located at five locations either on an underlying cover or on a substrate or floor.

  • This design of Stapelpatrizen and stacking matrices is characterized by a low material usage and is therefore less expensive than the known from the prior art and comparatively large stacking devices.
  • an extremely accurate fitting stacking is possible by the inventive design of Stapelpatrizen and - matrices that counteracts a possible imbalance of a lid stack.
  • the free webs of the cross-sectionally T-shaped Stapelpatrizen point away from the vertical axis of the lid and preferably at an angle of 40 ° to 50 ° to a transverse axis or a longitudinal axis of the lid.
  • the contact area is formed in the central region at the top of the lid by a handle on which the lid or the container closed with the lid can be raised, wherein preferably at the bottom of the lid in the central region located contact area is formed from an underside of an emanating from the top of the lid recess, which allows grasping the handle with his hands.
  • the handle of the lid is used as a contact area, so that a provision of a separate central contact area can be omitted.
  • Already on the cover located elements are thus formed as a contact area.
  • the contact area on the underside of the upper lid and the contact area on the upper side of the lower lid are each formed elongated, wherein preferably two mutually parallel contact areas are formed on the upper side of the lower lid by edges of the handle with cooperate two correspondingly formed contact areas on the underside of the upper lid.
  • the handle has a U-shaped cross-section with two webs and a flange, the two webs are directed away from the lid surface, so that the elongated contact areas on the top of the lid are formed by the surfaces of the webs and thus run in a line.
  • the lid and its provision for closing a container it is advantageous if at least one, preferably at least two, preferably all arranged on a bottom of the lid Stapelpatrizen, preferably in a belt of cross-sectionally T-shaped Stapelpatrize, are each provided with a recess which allows a hanging of the lid in one or preferably two detent openings in the edge flange of the container or at an end portion of the jacket of the container.
  • the associated lid can already be attached to the container, so that a subsequent search of the same is eliminated. This is particularly advantageous because it is not readily possible for reasons of hygiene to procure a required cover from the warehouse.
  • a person filling the container would first have to dispose of his protective clothing before he can go to the warehouse. Also, it is often annoying when the lid is stored loosely next to or in the vicinity of the container, especially since he can take damage by the hustle and bustle in a hospital operation, which is especially important for the proper closing of the container snap hooks.
  • the recessed Stapelpatrizen are arranged on a narrow side of the lid.
  • An advantageous development of the invention provides that the cover in mutually parallel cutting planes, each perpendicular to its vertical axis, each having the shape of a, preferably rounded, rectangle and the Stapelpatrizen and stacking matrices in the vicinity of, preferably rounded, corners of the rectangle are arranged.

The invention relates to a lid for a container, wherein the container defines a bottom, a vertical axis aligned to the bottom, a circumferentially adjoining the bottom and an interior of the container enclosing jacket and an opening cross-section which defines an end facing away from the bottom of the shell and by means of the lid is tightly closed, wherein the lid is circumferentially distributed and arranged spaced apart snap hooks provided with adapted thereto also circumferentially distributed and spaced apart in a from the shell of the container outwardly projecting edge flange of the container arranged latching openings are hooked to form a movement of the lid in the direction of the vertical axis of the container preventing positive engagement, wherein the lid on a the interior of the container facing bottom arranged randnah and vert over the circumference of the lid vert hemming, in the closed state of the container in the direction of the interior of the container extending Stapelpatrizen or Stapelmatrizen is provided, which with adapted thereto, a movement of the lid in the direction perpendicular to a vertical axis of the lid, which coincides with the vertical axis of the container, prevent positive engagement Stacking matrices or Stapelpatrizen on an upper surface of a lower lid are engageable when two identical lids are stacked on top of each other, over the mutually engaging Stapelpatrizen and stacking matrices in the direction of the vertical axis of the lid pressure forces are transferable.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Containers are versatile and are used in particular for the storage, collection and disposal of materials or materials, wherein containers of all sizes and shapes are known. In this regard, however, care must be taken to ensure that there is a risk that the stacked lids, in particular lids lying down, warp in such a way that they can no longer be used to seal them tightly. However, this is indispensable for the application described above as a container of infectious waste.

EP 0 176 904 A2 discloses a lid of a container, the container having a bottom, a vertical axis aligned to the bottom, a circumferentially adjoining the bottom and an interior of the container enclosing jacket and an opening cross-section, which defines from a bottom of the opposite end of the shell and by means of Cover is tightly closed, has, wherein in a stacked state of two covers both on the underside of the upper lid and on the upper side of the lower lid in each case in a central region of the cover in question a contact area is formed and that via a contact of these two contact areas in Direction of the vertical axis of the lid pressure forces are transferable.

Aufgabetask

It is an object of the present invention, a cover of the aforementioned type such that it is characterized by a comfortable stackability and low susceptibility to warping.

Based on the above-mentioned cover, this object is achieved in that in a stacked state of two covers both on the underside of the upper lid and on the upper side of the lower lid in each case in a central region of the cover in question a contact area is formed and that compressive forces can be transmitted via a contact of these two contact areas in the direction of the vertical axis of the lid and that stacking dies and stacking dies prevent movement of the lid in a direction perpendicular to a vertical axis of the lid when two identical lids are stacked one above the other.

In the prior art, the Stapelpatrizen or stack matrices are distributed near the edge over the circumference of the lid, so that for the load transfer of the own weight stacked lid substantially the lid edge is claimed. In particular, in the stack below lids therefore tend to deform. As a result of the arrangement according to the invention of a central contact region, a load transfer, which effectively counteracts a distortion of the cover, thus also takes place in a middle region of the cover. As a result, the quality of the lid is maintained and a tight closure of a container is - assuming proper handling - guaranteed. It is particularly useful if when placing the lid on a flat surface and the central contact area acts load-bearing, that is in contact with the pad. In this case, the undersides of all stacking patterns and / or matrices and of the central contact area are thus arranged in the same plane as possible.

Accordingly, it is advantageous if the interior of the container facing Stapelpatrizen or stacking matrices and located on the underside of the lid contact area have footprints that are in the same plane perpendicular to the vertical axis. For example, if a lid has four stacking dies at the bottom As well as the central contact area, the lid is located at five locations either on an underlying cover or on a substrate or floor.

Advantageously, the lid according to the invention on Stapelpatrizen on its underside, which have a T-shaped cross-section and each having a slot stacking matrices on the upper side of an underlying lid are engageable such that a free web of the T-shaped cross section of the Stapelpatrizen enters the slot of the stack matrices. This design of Stapelpatrizen and stacking matrices is characterized by a low material usage and is therefore less expensive than the known from the prior art and comparatively large stacking devices. In addition, an extremely accurate fitting stacking is possible by the inventive design of Stapelpatrizen and - matrices that counteracts a possible imbalance of a lid stack.

It may also be advantageous if the free webs of the cross-sectionally T-shaped Stapelpatrizen point away from the vertical axis of the lid and preferably at an angle of 40 ° to 50 ° to a transverse axis or a longitudinal axis of the lid.

According to one embodiment of the lid according to the invention it is provided that the contact area is formed in the central region at the top of the lid by a handle on which the lid or the container closed with the lid can be raised, wherein preferably at the bottom of the lid in the central region located contact area is formed from an underside of an emanating from the top of the lid recess, which allows grasping the handle with his hands. In this way, the handle of the lid is used as a contact area, so that a provision of a separate central contact area can be omitted. Already on the cover located elements are thus formed as a contact area.

In this regard, it is appropriate if the contact area on the underside of the upper lid and the contact area on the upper side of the lower lid are each formed elongated, wherein preferably two mutually parallel contact areas are formed on the upper side of the lower lid by edges of the handle with cooperate two correspondingly formed contact areas on the underside of the upper lid. Often, the handle has a U-shaped cross-section with two webs and a flange, the two webs are directed away from the lid surface, so that the elongated contact areas on the top of the lid are formed by the surfaces of the webs and thus run in a line.

With regard to the actual use of the lid and its provision for closing a container, it is advantageous if at least one, preferably at least two, preferably all arranged on a bottom of the lid Stapelpatrizen, preferably in a belt of cross-sectionally T-shaped Stapelpatrize, are each provided with a recess which allows a hanging of the lid in one or preferably two detent openings in the edge flange of the container or at an end portion of the jacket of the container. When providing a required container thus the associated lid can already be attached to the container, so that a subsequent search of the same is eliminated. This is particularly advantageous because it is not readily possible for reasons of hygiene to procure a required cover from the warehouse. A person filling the container would first have to dispose of his protective clothing before he can go to the warehouse. Also, it is often annoying when the lid is stored loosely next to or in the vicinity of the container, especially since he can take damage by the hustle and bustle in a hospital operation, which is especially important for the proper closing of the container snap hooks.

For hanging the lid on the container, it is sufficient if the recessed Stapelpatrizen are arranged on a narrow side of the lid. Alternatively, however, it is also possible to arrange these on a longitudinal side of the lid or circumferentially.

An advantageous development of the invention provides that the cover in mutually parallel cutting planes, each perpendicular to its vertical axis, each having the shape of a, preferably rounded, rectangle and the Stapelpatrizen and stacking matrices in the vicinity of, preferably rounded, corners of the rectangle are arranged.

Finally, it should be noted that the various features of the subclaims can be implemented individually for themselves or for a plurality of combinations in variants of the invention.

The FIG. 1 shows a container 1 with a cover 2 according to the invention in a three-dimensional view, wherein the container 1 has a aligned to a vertical axis 3 of the container 1 bottom 4 and a subsequent circumferential jacket 5 has. The lid 2, which has a parallel to the vertical axis 3 of the container 1 extending vertical axis 6, thus closing one in the FIG. 1 invisible opening cross-section to an interior 7 of the container 1, wherein the opening cross-section of a bottom 4 remote from the end 8 of the shell 5 is defined. Further, the cover 2 has peripherally distributed at one edge 9 and spaced-apart snap hooks 10, which are hooked into corresponding detent openings 11 in an outwardly projecting edge flange 12 of the container 1, so that a movement of the lid 2 in the direction of the vertical axis 3 is not possible is.

In a central region 13 of the lid 2, this has a handle 14 which is formed like a tab and in cross-section U-shaped. In the direction of a transverse axis 17 of the cover 2, the central region 15 has a width of only a few centimeters and corresponds approximately to the width B of the handle 14. Below the Handle 14 a recess 18 is arranged, which allows a comfortable grip of the handle 14 with one hand.

Furthermore, it can be seen that both the container 1 and the lid 2 each have a cross section in the form of a rounded rectangle in sectional planes which run perpendicular to the vertical axes 3, 6. At an upper side 19 of the lid 2 are in four rounded corners 20 close to each edge stack matrices 21, which consist of two juxtaposed elevations 22, between which a slot 23 passes. The elevations 22 and the slots 23 are each so aligned that the longitudinal axis form an angle α of 45 ° to the longitudinal axis 16 and the transverse axis 17.

The FIGS. 2a to 2f show the lid 2 according to the invention FIG. 1 in a three-dimensional plan view, a three-dimensional bottom view, a plan view, a bottom view, a vertical section in the direction of its longitudinal axis 16 and a vertical section in the direction of its transverse axis 17th

The FIG. 2a equals to FIG. 1 except for the fact that the container 1 is not shown and thus the snap hooks 10 are more clearly visible. In the bottom view of the lid 2, which in the FIG. 2b is shown, an underside 24 of the lid 2 can be seen, which is provided in each of the four rounded corners 20 with a stacking patrix 25 arranged close to the edge. The Stapelpatrizen 25 are each formed in cross-section T-shaped and thus each have a web 26 and a belt 27, the web 26 at a right angle in the middle of the belt 27 hits. This geometry is good in the Figure 2d to recognize. If two or more lids 2 are stacked on top of each other, the web 26 of the stacking matrices 25 of an upper lid 2 engages in the corresponding slots 23 of the stack matrices 21 of a lower lid 2.

In addition, when stacking two covers 2, a contact area 28 on the upper side 19 of the lower lid 2, which is formed by two edges 29 of the U-shaped handle 14, with a contact area 30 on the bottom 24 of the upper lid 2, the is formed by a bottom 31 of the recess 18 in contact, this contact is linear. The linear contact area 30 of the bottom 31 of the recess 18 is indicated by dashed lines 32 in FIG FIG. 2b indicated.

In the belt 27 of the Stapelpatrizen 25 a recess 33 is introduced in each case on a side facing the short edges 9 of the lid 2 side, which is formed rectangular. As a result, the Stapelpatrizen 25 gain the shape of a hook, so that they can be hooked into the detent openings 11 or to the end 8 of the shell 5 of a container 1 and the container 1 can be provided in its open state with an associated lid 2. In the FIG. 2f the formation of the recess 28 is also easy to see.

In the FIGS. 3a and 3b two stacked lids 2, 2 'are shown once in a three-dimensional plan view and once in a three-dimensional bottom view. The upper cover 2 lies on the one hand with its four Stapelpatrizen 25 on the upper side 19 of the lower lid 2 ', wherein the web 26 of the Stapelpatrize 25 engages in the respective slot 23 of the stack matrices 21, but what in the Figures 3 can not be seen, since the view is hidden by the upper lid 2. In addition, the upper lid 2 is in its central region 13 with its contact portion 30 on its underside 24 on the associated contact portion 28 on the upper section 9 'of the lower lid 2', which is also in the Figures 3 can not be seen.
