Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Befestigen von streifenförmigen Flächengebilden, insbesondere Kantenbändern an Schmalseiten von Werkstücken, insbesondere Möbelplatten, mittels einer Bandzuführeinrichtung, welche das jeweilige Flächengebilde von einem Vorratsbehälter, insbesondere einer Vorratsrolle entlang eines Zuführweges zum Werkstück transportiert. Weiterhin wird eine Wärmequelle genutzt, welche eine haftvermittelnde Funktionsschicht des Flächengebildes auf eine Aktivierungstemperatur bringt. Darüber hinaus ist eine Vorrichtung zum Andrücken oder Anpressen des Flächengebildes auf bzw. an die jeweilige Werkstückschmalseite vorhanden.
