Definitions

  • the invention relates to a thermostat tap for gas operated domestic cookers/ovens which comprises a motor driven by electronic circuit and allowing direct control, as well as a solenoid coil or electromagnet connected to the gas inlet in the gas tap body for safety purposes, wherein the need for a transmission element is eliminated due to said motor driven by electronic circuit.
  • thermocouple or thermostat taps comprising heat-sensitive liquid therein are used for setting the oven temperature.
  • the lower and upper sections of the gas tap are adjusted to the desired heat by manually rotating for positioning and the meal is cooked for some time under temperature.
  • the thermocouple connected to the tap inside the oven is the part which provides said balance.
  • a thermocouple which is disposed in the oven and connected to the gas tap is located in the burner section of the oven, the thermal balance of which is desired to be adjusted and where burning occurs.
  • a force effect is formed inside the thermocouple by means of a heat-sensitive liquid inside the thermocouple. Said force effect is proportional to the temperature inside the oven.
  • thermocouple With the effect of said force, a diaphragm quite thin in structure is provided in the end portion of the thermocouple connected at tap side.
  • the diaphragm is opened/closed with the effect of the force coming from the thermocouple by means of the diaphragm.
  • thermal balance within the oven is maintained.
