Problematisch bei aus dem Stand der Technik bekannten Systemen ist dabei, dass das Abfallsammelfahrzeug in der Regel mit einer verhältnismäßig großen Kraft bzw. verhältnismäßig häufig den eingesammelten Abfall verpresst und dabei nicht berücksichtigt, ob in der aktuellen Sammeltour nicht beispielsweise eine geringere Kraft bzw. weniger häufiges Verpressen zum Komprimieren des gesamten in der Sammeltour anfallenden Abfalls hinreichend wäre. Hiermit werden unter Umständen übermäßig große Kräfte bzw. zu häufige Pressvorgänge zum Verpressen des Mülls eingesetzt, was mit einem entsprechend nachteilig hohen Energieverbrauch einhergeht. Für eine bessere Planung der Sammeltour des ASF bzw. die dabei durchzuführenden Verpressvorgänge wäre es daher wünschenswert, die Masse des bereitgestellten bzw. abzuholenden Abfalls im Voraus zu kennen. Dadurch könnte bereits zu Beginn einer Sammeltour der für die Gesamtmasse erforderliche Einsatz des Verdichtungsmechanismus optimal energiesparend und materialschonend eingestellt werden.The ASF picks up the contents of the emptied garbage cans in a collecting container and presses it into it. In einer bevorzugten Ausführung ist denkbar, dass die Mülltonne zur Gewichtsmessung während eines Bewegens der Mülltonnen und/oder während einer Schräglage der Mülltonne ausgelegt ist. Zum Erkennen einer Schräglage oder eines Bewegens der Mülltonne können entsprechend zusätzliche Sensoren vorgesehen sein. Erfolgt die Gewichtsmessung während eines Bewegens der Mülltonnen so kann dies beispielsweise während des Bewegens der Mülltonne von einem Stellplatz zu einem Abholplatz beispielsweise am Straßenrand erfolgen. Damit wäre sichergestellt, dass die Gewichtsmessung dann erfolgt, wenn die Mülltonne kurz vor der Entleerung bzw. maximal gefüllt ist. Bekannte Mülltonnen sind dazu ausgelegt, in einem stationären Zustand vertikal angeordnet zu sein, während sie zum Verfahren bzw. Bewegen in eine Schräglage gebracht werden können und dann beispielsweise über zwei Rollen abgerollt werden.
