Definitions
- the present invention relates to a closure element for a borescope opening of a gas turbine, in particular an aircraft gas turbine, the boroscope opening having a gas channel leading to the gas turbine ring facing radially inner opening edge, wherein the closure element has a main portion and connected to the main portion closure portion, and wherein the closure portion related is formed at least partially rotationally symmetric on a longitudinal axis of the closure element.
- Boroskopstopfen Such closure elements, which may also be referred to as Boroskopstopfen are known. Such Boroskopstopfen are usually screwed through threads, the rotationally symmetrical, usually spherical closure portion terminates tangentially with an inner contour of the annular channel. Due to this arrangement of the closure element, which is sunk with its closure portion quasi in Boroskopö réelle or in the inner contour of the annular channel, resulting between the outer contour of the closure portion and the Boroskopö réelle bounding wall large gaps, which lead to disturbances of the hot gas flow.
- the object of the invention is to develop a closure element such that the above disadvantages can be reduced.
- the closure element is dimensioned such that the closure portion in the inserted state in the Boroskopö Maschinen partially protrudes beyond the radially inner opening edge of the Boroskopö Maschinen.
- closure section In order for such a closure element to be used independently of its installation angle position relative to the inner contour of the annular channel, it is preferred for the closure section to be spherical or conical or frusto-conical in shape.
- the closure portion may be dimensioned such that it seals the hot gas leading annular channel in cooperation with an adjoining the radially inner opening edge opening wall.
- the maximum diameter of the closure section essentially corresponds to the inner diameter of the boroscope opening formed by the opening wall.
- the maximum diameter of the closure section is equal to the diameter of the corresponding ball.
- the maximum diameter of the closure section is the largest diameter that has the cone or truncated cone.
- the main section preferably has a length which is dimensioned such that the closure section, whose dimensions depend on the inner diameter of the borescope opening, projects beyond the radially inner opening edge.
- the invention furthermore relates to a gas turbine, in particular an aircraft gas turbine, having at least one turbine stage and a hot gas-conducting annular channel associated with the turbine stage, and / or at least one compressor stage and a gas channel associated with the compressor stage, wherein the annular channel of the turbine stage and / or the compressor stage a radial outer wall, in which at least one Boroskopö réelle is provided, wherein the Boroskopö réelle has an opening formed in the radial outer wall opening edge, which adjoins an opening wall in a substantially radial direction, wherein in the Boroskopö réelle a closure element is inserted, which has a main portion and a closure portion, wherein the closure portion is surrounded by the opening wall, so that the hot gas-carrying annular channel is sealed, and is proposed to achieve the above object that the closure portion partially protrudes in the inserted state in the Boroskopö gleich over the radially inner opening edge of the Boroskopö Maschinen.
- the outer wall of the annular channel with respect to the axial direction of the gas turbine at least partially inclined, so that the outer wall has substantially the shape of a lateral surface of a truncated cone.
- the outer wall of the annular channel is not linear over its entire axial length or linear pronounced, as the surface line in a conventionally defined cone, but the lateral surface may also be slightly wavy.
- the closure section in relation to an axial longitudinal section through the Bororskopö réelle projecting via an imaginary line in the annular channel, which connects an axially front opening edge portion of the opening edge and an axially rear opening edge portion of the opening edge along the lateral surface inclined to the axial direction.
- This imaginary connecting line can also be understood as that line which, according to the prior art, has formed a tangent to the closure section when the closure section was virtually recessed in the boroscope opening or has finished tangentially with an inner contour of the annular channel.
- the closure section In order that the flow of hot gas is only slightly disturbed by the closure section projecting into the annular channel, it is preferred for the closure section to protrude into the annular channel at a distance measured orthogonally to the imaginary line, the distance being approximately 2% to 30%, preferably 10%. to 24%, most preferably 14% to 18% of the diameter of the boroscope opening measured in the axial direction.
- the distance of the projecting into the annular channel should not be more than about 2% to 30% of the diameter of a spherical closure element whose outer diameter generally corresponds substantially to the inner diameter of Bororskopö réelle.
- a spherical segment of the closure portion may protrude into the annular channel.
- the height of the spherical segment can correspond to the orthogonally measured distance.
- Fig. 1 shows a partial representation of a hot gas leading annular channel 10 of an unspecified turbine stage of a likewise not shown gas turbine.
- the axial direction relative to the machine axis of the gas turbine is denoted by AR and the radial direction is denoted by RR.
- the annular channel 10 is at least partially bounded by a Ringkanalwandung 12 with the hot gas flow facing inside 14.
- the Ringkanalwandung 12 is connected to other unspecified components of the turbine stage or the gas turbine, in particular a housing component 16.
- a Boroskopö réelle 18 is provided in the annular channel wall 12.
- the annular channel 10 has a contour corresponding to the inner side 14, wherein the inner side 14 extends inclined to the axial direction AR.
- the inside 14 of the annular channel 10 has, in simplified terms, substantially the shape of a lateral surface of a cone, wherein, as is apparent from the Fig. 1 it can be seen that the inner side 14 is not linear or linear over its entire axial length, as the surface line in a conventionally defined cone. In other words, it can also be said that the annular channel widens in the radial direction RR along the axial direction AR which substantially corresponds to the flow direction of hot gas.
- the Bororskopö réelle 18 is recessed, wherein as a transition between the Boroskopö réelle 18 and the inner side 14 has a radially inward lying opening edge 20 is formed.
- an opening wall 22 of the Bororskopö réelle 18 connects to the opening edge 20.
- This opening wall 22 is formed in the present example in the annular channel wall 12.
- the Boroskopö réelle 18 is closed during operation of the gas turbine by a closure element 24, which may also be referred to as Boroskopstopfen.
- the closure element 24 is essentially formed from a main portion 26 and a closure portion 28, which are connected to each other, in particular are integrally formed with each other.
- the closure section 28 is usually rotationally symmetrical about an axis of rotation, which in the present embodiment corresponds to the longitudinal axis LA of the closure element 24.
- the closure element 24 is inserted in the turbine stage or the gas turbine such that the longitudinal axis LA extends substantially parallel to the radial direction RR.
- the longitudinal axis is inclined relative to the radial direction RR to the axial front or rear axially.
- the longitudinal axis LA can also deviate in the circumferential direction from the radial direction RR.
- the closure portion 28 is spherical.
- the closure element 24 is further configured in such a way that it protrudes with its closure section 28 into the annular channel 10 in the state inserted into the Bororskopö réelle 18 and partially protrudes into it.
- the shutter portion 28 protrudes beyond an imaginary connecting line VL connecting (in the axial direction AR) the front opening edge portion 20a and the rear opening edge portion 20b.
- This connection line VL can also be seen as an imaginary supplement to the inner side 14 of the annular channel wall, if no borescope opening 18 were provided.
- the connecting line VL is also inclined to the radial direction RR and to the axial direction AR.
- the closure portion 28 protrudes with its outer surface 30 by a distance AB, which is measured orthogonal to the connecting line VL, in the annular channel 10, so that the closure portion protrudes beyond the radially inner opening edge 20 of the Boroskopö réelle 18.
- the closure portion 28 comes in this position with its outer surface 30 in contact with the opening wall 22, so that a seal of the annular channel 10 of the turbine stage can be achieved.
- Fig. 2A shows an enlarged section corresponding to the dashed rimmed area II of Fig. 1
- the closure section 28 is likewise shown in its inserted position in the borescope opening 18.
- Dashed lines show a closure section 28a which is inserted in the borescope opening 18 at a position known from the prior art.
- the closure section 28a terminates with the inner side 14 or the contour of the annular channel 10 such that the connecting line VL forms a tangent to the outer surface 30a of the closure section 28a.
- a space 32 (hatched area) formed between the outer surface 30 and the opening wall 22 is reduced as compared with the conventional positioning of the shutter member 28a shown in phantom in which FIG Interspace 32 is still increased by the area 32a (crossed hatched area) or a corresponding volume. Furthermore, in the case of the known arrangement of the closure element 28a, an additional gap 32b is also formed on the rear side of the closure section 28a in the flow direction.
- Fig. 2A It can also be seen that no adaptation to the rotationally symmetrical, in particular spherical closure section 28 is required for the changed positioning of the closure element 24 in the borescope opening 18, but that the main section 26 is lengthened, for example by an amount HL, compared with a known one Closure element.
- the extension HL of the main portion 26 may be at any position along the longitudinal axis LA. Accordingly, the proposed solution can also be implemented for existing gas turbines by replacing existing shorter closure elements with new longer closure elements 24.
- Fig. 2B shows in dashed line another positioning of the closure portion 28 so that it still somewhat more in the annular channel 10 projects (distance AB '), but just with its outer surface 30 comes into contact with the axially rearward opening edge 20b of the borescope opening 18.
- the main portion 26 relative to a main portion 26 according to Fig. 1 or 2A by the amount HL 'be extended.
- the space 32 has become smaller around the area or the volume 32c (crossed hatched), wherein the distance AB 'has become somewhat larger.
- the rest in the FIG. 2B The reference numerals denote the same components as with reference to FIGS Fig. 1 and 2A already described and are in the Fig. 2B again, even if not described again.
- the drawn distance AB between the imaginary connecting line and the outer surface 30 of the closure portion is about 2% to 30% of the diameter DM of the borescope opening 18.
- the distance AB is about 2% to 30% of the diameter DM of the spherical closure portion 24.
- Preferred size ranges of Distance AB are about 10-24% and continue at 14-18% of the diameter DM.
- the protrusion of the closure section 28 by the distance AB in the annular channel 10 can be selected depending on the orientation and geometry of Boroskopö réelle and the contour of the annular channel 10 in such a way that an overall little disturbed flow of hot gas can be achieved, with gaps 32, 32a, 32b between the closure portion 28 and the opening wall 22 being minimized by increasing the distance AB of the outer surface 30 from the connection line VL.
- the proposed closure element 24 for a Boroskopö réelle 18 the ability to improve the flow conditions in an annular channel 10 of a turbine stage, contrary to previous teachings a projection of the closure portion is taken into the annular channel in purchasing, because this leads to a low disturbance of the flow , Especially when using a spherical closure portion.

Abstract
