L'installation de la marquise 4 commence par le placement du gabarit contre le mur de façade, à l'emplacement désiré, en prenant soin de le maintenir bien horizontal. Puis, le poseur perce des trous de fixation dans le mur à des endroits référencés par le gabarit et y glisse des chevilles. Le poseur prend ensuite le support 5, le positionne à la place du gabarit et commence sa fixation sur le mur en utilisant des vis s'insérant dans des chevilles, ou des écrous si le système de fixation comporte des tiges filetées scellées dans le mur par du ciment chimique. Une fois le support fixé, le poseur présente la cassette 6 face au mur de façon que les tirants 8 soient en face des ouvertures des logements 12 et la déplace dans le sens des flèches présentes sur la Fig. 2 , jusqu'à ce que la cassette puisse tenir sur le support tout en la laissant écartée du mur d'une vingtaine de centimètres. Le poseur effectue alors le raccordement électrique avec le câble 14 sortant du mur de façade et le boîtier 16, puis il repousse la cassette jusqu'à ce qu'elle vienne en contact avec le mur. Le poseur verrouille les vis de blocage 15 à travers les orifices du capot de façon à solidariser la cassette 6 sur son support 5. Cette figure et celles qui vont suivre, décrivent le prototype de réalisation pour la mise en oeuvre de l'invention. Les deux ouvertures 12 pratiquées dans le châssis 20 sont clairement visibles. L'habillage comporte sur trois côtés des moulures extérieures 21 en forme arrondie convexe ou droite, l'intérieur des moulures peut être utilisé pour évacuer l'eau de pluie par deux orifices positionnés aux deux coins à l'avant de la marquise. Le châssis comporte également des moulures intérieures 22 de forme arrondie et concave qui dissimulent le cadre sur lequel repose la dalle lumineuse. Cette forme concave apporte un très bel effet de profondeur lorsque l'on regarde la marquise par le dessous. La moulure 22 est présente sur les côtés latéraux et vers l'avant, le côté qui est à proximité du mur présente un flanc droit. On peut remarquer sur cette figure, la finesse de l'ensemble formé par la dalle lumineuse 13 et le capot 11, cette finesse est principalement obtenue par l'utilisation d'une dalle éclairée par le chant. Le flanc droit à l'arrière de l'habillage est décalé vers l'avant pour laisser la place à un boîtier électrique 24 qui est relié au détecteur de présence et au câble 14 d'alimentation de la dalle lumineuse. Selon un perfectionnement, le détecteur de présence 17 est relié à une carte de contrôle électronique permettant la gestion de l'allumage et l'extinction de la dalle lumineuse 13.
