Description

Hintergrundbackground

The invention relates to a seat device which comprises at least one seat element and at least one backrest element arranged at an angle thereto, wherein the backrest element is detachably fastened to the seat element by means of at least one connecting element.

Stand der TechnikState of the art

Seating devices with a seat element and one or more backrest element (s) (eg backrest and / or armrest) are known in a variety of forms and designs (eg from the FR 2 282 247 A1 ). The seat element forms the sitting or lying surface, while the backrest element serves to lean or support the person sitting or lying on it. Frequently, these seat devices have a substructure made of wood, plastic and / or metal, which is usually sprung in the region of the seat surface, wherein the substructure forms a kind of framework which gives stability and shape to the seat device. The backrest elements are usually connected via the substructure fixed to the seat element. This has the disadvantage that the backrest elements can not be easily removed and replaced in the rule. Such rigid seating devices are therefore not suitable for modular furniture systems in which it would be desirable if seat and back elements could be easily replaced and freely combined with each other.

As "cold foam" is usually referred to a foam, which is compared to conventional foam by a significantly increased elasticity characterized and produced without the application of heat. The two main components of the cold foam are polyol and isocyanate. These two substances are mixed with water and various other additives and auxiliaries and subjected to a foaming process at relatively low temperatures. Cold foam is a Polyetherschaumstoff (polyurethane = PUR), which in contrast to the standard foam as so-called HR foam (HR = High Resilent = highly elastic) is characterized by an irregular, coarse pore structure with changed composition, which is open-celled and therefore high air permeability and a pleasant sitting and sleeping environment and high elasticity. In the production of cold foam preferably polyether is used in the base compound in place of the usual dialcohols. This results in larger pores, which provide even better ventilation properties and better permeability of moisture. In this process less heat must be added compared to the production of "hot foam" (hence the term "cold foam"). In contrast to conventional hot foam, no heat application is necessary after the foaming process in which the foam hardens. Cold foam, in contrast to the hot foam, has a relatively closed structure after the foaming process. For this reason, moisture can not penetrate into the cold foam block during curing and affect its properties. The advantage of this initially closed structure is that the cold foam - in contrast to the hot foam - can therefore be produced with significantly higher compression hardness. To give the cold foam after curing the necessary open porosity, the material is then rolled to open the cells. The resulting open porosity ensures that cold foam is permeable to air and breathable.

Formerly known almost exclusively in connection with the production of mattresses, polyurethane foam has meanwhile become more and more popular in the production of upholstered furniture. The seat cushions of many high-quality upholstered furniture now predominantly consist of cold foam. Polyurethane foam adapts to the human body exactly and is "point elastic", ie the material is in more heavily loaded areas elastic and less loaded areas solid. Therefore, sitting and lying on it is very comfortable and ergonomic. In addition, polyurethane foam is hypoallergenic because it stores only very little dust compared to other foams.

Zusammenfassung der ErfindungSummary of the invention

It is an object of the invention to provide a seat device for a modular furniture system in which the seat element and the one or more backrest element (s) can be easily separated from each other and reconnected.

The object is achieved by a seat device according to claim 1. According to the invention, it is provided that the recess comprises two areas, one of which extends in the vertical plane and the other in the horizontal plane through at least part of the seat element. In this particularly advantageous manner, the connecting element can be held particularly stable and secure in the seat element be so that a displacement of the connecting element in either the horizontal or vertical direction is possible.

The two regions of the recess of the seat element can each be arranged close to the surface in at least one edge region of the seat element in order to optimally utilize the seat surface and to give the backrest element maximum stability.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the two regions of the recess of the seat element are arranged at least approximately at right angles to each other. This embodiment allows, for example, the inclusion of an approximately L-shaped connecting element, which may be particularly suitable for certain seat devices according to the invention.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the seat element comprises a base body which consists entirely of foam, in particular cold foam. This embodiment can be manufactured as a complete element in a single process step, without having to make and / or attach additional elements or components. When using high-quality foams or high-quality cold foam in addition, a high-quality seat device can be provided, which adapts to the human body exactly and is point elastic. The sitting / lying surface is very comfortable and ergonomic and hypoallergenic in this embodiment.

It can be used according to the invention for example, a polyurethane foam with a density between RG 30 and RG 80 for the seat element. However, it is also possible to use a combination of foams with different densities, for example a thicker layer RG 40 to which a thinner topcoat RG 50 is applied. For example, cold foams of the type 50/50 and / or 40/50 can be used according to the invention.

For the seat element according to the invention it is further possible, for example, to use a PUR cold foam having a compression hardness between 2.0 (soft) to 5.0 (hard).

In order to additionally improve the sitting and / or lying comfort, the seat element, in particular in the area of the seat surface, can also comprise additional spring elements.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the backrest element comprises at least one recess which is provided for receiving a part of the connecting element. As a result, the backrest element can simply be plugged onto an outstanding part of the connecting element from the seat element, wherein the connecting element is received in a form-fitting manner in the recess. The connection of the seat element according to the invention with the backrest element or several backrest elements makes it possible to provide a modular seat device (or a modular seat furniture system) in which different seat elements can be freely combined with different backrest elements. The seat device according to the invention can therefore be flexibly adapted to the needs and wishes of the user, wherein the connection of the individual elements without great effort and without tools is possible. The recess of the backrest element can be arranged, for example, near the surface in an edge region of the backrest element.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the backrest element comprises a base body which consists entirely of foam, in particular cold foam. This embodiment can be manufactured as a complete element in a single process step, without having to make and / or attach additional elements or components. When using high-quality foams or high-quality cold foam can also provide a high-quality backrest element available which adapts to the human body exactly and is point elastic. The support surface is very comfortable and ergonomic and hypoallergenic in this embodiment.

It can be used according to the invention, for example, a polyurethane foam with a density of between RG 25 and RG 70 for the back element. However, it is also possible to use a combination of foams with different densities, for example a thicker layer RG 28 onto which a thinner top layer RG 40 is applied. For example, according to the invention cold foams of the type 40/30 and / or 28/65 can be used.

It can be used for the back element according to the invention further example, a polyurethane foam with a compression hardness between 2.0 (soft) to 5.0 (hard).

The object is further achieved by a connecting element of the type mentioned above, which comprises at least two legs which are arranged at least approximately at right angles to each other, wherein one of the legs for receiving in a region of the recess of the seat member and for receiving in the recess of the backrest element is. The connecting element is preferably designed or dimensioned such that it can be easily introduced into the recesses and is held in a form-fitting manner in the recesses. By means of the connecting element according to the invention, the seat element can be stably connected to the backrest element or a plurality of backrest elements, it being possible to connect the individual elements without great effort and without tools. This results in a modular seating device (or a modular seating furniture system) in which various seat elements can be freely combined with different backrest elements. The seat device according to the invention can therefore be adapted flexibly to the needs and wishes of the user. According to the invention it is provided that the other leg is provided for receiving in another region of the recess of the seat member, so that a particularly stable connection between the seat element and backrest element (s) can be produced.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the two legs are plate-shaped and the connecting element as a whole has an approximately L-shaped cross-section.

In a further advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the connecting element consists at least partially of wood and / or plastic.

"Schaumstoff" im Sinne der Erfindung ist ein künstlich hergestelltes Material mit zelliger Struktur und niedriger Dichte, das durch Schäumen eines Kunststoffes hergestellt wird und das komprimierbar ist, d. h. durch Druck kann sein Volumen deutlich verkleinert werden."Foam" in the context of the invention is an artificially produced material with a cellular structure and low density, which is produced by foaming a plastic and which is compressible, d. H. by pressure, its volume can be significantly reduced.

"Kaltschaum" im Sinne der Erfindung ist ein Polyetherschaumstoff (Polyurethan = PUR), bei dessen Herstellung in der Grundverbindung Polyether anstelle von Dialkoholen verwendet wird, so dass größere Poren im Material entstehen, die eine erhöhte Durchlässigkeit von Luft und Feuchtigkeit sowie eine höhere Elastizität bewirken."Cold foam" in the context of the invention is a polyether foam (polyurethane = PUR), in the preparation of which polyether is used in place of dialcohols, so that larger pores are formed in the material, which cause increased permeability of air and moisture and a higher elasticity ,

Einheit des Raumgewichts ist Kilogramm pro Kubikmeter (kg/m3)."Gravity" (= RG) in the context of the invention is the weight of the material used per cubic meter. Unit of the volume weight is kilograms per cubic meter (kg / m 3 ).

Je geringer die Stauchhärte des Schaums ist, desto geringer seine Fähigkeit, nach Belastung wieder die ursprüngliche Form anzunehmen."Compressive hardness" in the sense of the invention is the pressure that must act on the foam to compress it by 40% (65%, 25%) of the initial height. Unit of compressive strength is kilopascals (kPa). The higher the compressive strength of the foam, the firmer it is. The lower the compression hardness the lather, the less its ability to regain its original shape after loading.

The seat element 10 has three recesses 12, 13, 14, each comprising two areas 12.1, 12.2, 13.1, 13.2, 13.1, 13.2. In each case, an area 12.1, 13.1, 14.1 extends in the vertical plane of the base body 11 aligned as shown, while the respective other area 12.2, 13.2, 14.2 extends in the horizontal plane of the basic body 11 aligned as shown. The vertical areas 12.1, 13.1, 14.1 and the horizontal areas 12.2, 13.2, 14.2 are each arranged approximately at right angles to each other, so that the recesses 12, 13, 14 are each L-shaped. The recesses 12, 13, 14 or their areas 12.1, 12.2, 13.1, 13.2, 13.1, 13.2 are each arranged in the vicinity of the respective surface of the seat element 10 (ie "near the surface"). Alternatively, however, the recesses could in each case also be arranged partially or completely further inside or in the center of the main body 11. The vertical areas 12.1, 13.1, 14.1 of the recesses 12, 13, 14 are each pocket-like, ie they are open only upwards on the sitting / lying surface 15 and down on the underside 16 and otherwise completely surrounded by the material of the base body 11 , while the horizontal portions 12.2, 13.2, 14.2 of the recesses 12, 13, 14 each have a trough-like, that are down to the bottom 16 open, formed. Alternatively, the horizontal areas 12.2, 13.2, 14.2 but also on the bottom 16 could be partially or completely covered by the material of the base body 11, where they would then be open only at the transition to the respective vertical areas 12.1, 13.1, 14.1. The recesses 12, 13, 14 serve to receive the connecting elements according to the invention. This is related to the Figures 3 and 4 Described in detail below.

FIG. 2 shows an exemplary backrest element 20 for a device according to the invention. The backrest element 20 comprises an angled base body 21, which has a long leg 22 and a short leg 23. For example, the main body 21 may be completely or approximated completely Foam, for example cold foam, exist. The backrest element 20 has three recesses 24, 25, 26, which are each formed pocket-like, ie they are open only at the bottom bottom 27 and otherwise completely surrounded by the material of the base body 21. The recesses 24, 25, 26 are each disposed in the vicinity of the respective surface of the back element 20 (ie, "near the surface"). Alternatively, however, the recesses could in each case also be arranged partially or completely further inside or in the center of the main body 21. The recesses 24, 25, 26 serve to receive the connecting elements according to the invention. This is related to the Figures 3 and 4 explained in more detail below.

FIG. 3 shows the exemplary backrest element 20 according to FIG. 2 and the exemplary seat member 10 according to FIG. 1 with inserted connecting elements 30. The connecting elements 30 are each seated in a form-fitting manner in the recesses 12, 13, 14 of the seat element 10, wherein the respective longer leg 31 of the connecting elements 30 within the vertical portions 12.1, 13.1, 14.1 of the recesses 12, 13, 14 and each shorter leg 32 of the connecting elements 30 within the horizontal portions 12.2, 13.2, 14.2 of the recesses 12, 13, 14 is arranged. A part 33 of the connecting elements 30 projects in each case upward on the sitting / lying surface 15 out of the seat element 10. On these parts 33, the backrest element 20 is simply attached, wherein the parts 33 of the connecting elements 30 are each positively received in the recesses 24, 25, 26 of the back element 20. Since the connecting elements 30 are each adapted to the recesses 12, 13, 14 of the seat member 10 and the recesses 24, 25, 26 of the backrest element 20 with respect to their shape and dimensions or strength and are thus held in this form-fitting manner, the connecting elements 30 sit particularly stable and secure both in the seat element 10 and in the backrest element 20, so that a displacement of the connecting element is possible neither in the horizontal nor in the vertical direction.

FIG. 4 shows an exemplary embodiment of a device 40 according to the invention in an assembled form. The connection of the Backrest element 20 with the seat element 10 has already been described above with reference to FIG FIG. 3 described in detail. This results in a modular seating device 40, in which various seat elements 10 can be freely combined with different backrest elements 20. The seat device 40 according to the invention can therefore be flexibly adapted to the needs and wishes of the user.

FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of two exemplary embodiments of a connecting element according to the invention, wherein both connecting elements 50, 60 are L-shaped and a longer leg 51, 61 and a shorter leg 52, 62 include. The respective longer leg 51, 61 of the connecting elements 50, 60 is provided for receiving in a region of the recess of a seat member and for receiving in the recess of a backrest element. In this case, the connecting elements 50, 60, as is clear by the different length legs 51 and 61, be adapted to the dimensions of the seat and backrest elements. As an alternative to L-shaped connecting elements, however, these can also have any other form adapted to the respective recesses. For example, sword or plate-shaped connecting elements can be used.
