Claims (9)

  1. Dispositif (10) d'usinage d'un bord (E) d'une ébauche pour une lentille (L), en particulier une lentille ophtalmique, comprenant
    un système de réception (12) destiné à retenir l'ébauche de lentille glantée sur une molette de glantage (S) dans une chambre de travail (14) du dispositif d'usinage de bord (10),
    un système d'usinage (16), au moyen duquel un outil (W) pour l'usinage du bord (E) peut être entraîné, et
    un système de déplacement (18) destiné à produire un mouvement relatif entre l'ébauche de lentille et l'outil (W) pendant l'usinage du bord (E) dans la chambre de travail (14) du dispositif d'usinage de bord (10), et un système de déglantage (20), au moyen duquel la lentille (L) dont le bord est usiné peut être déglantée de la molette de glantage (S) dans la chambre de travail (14),
    caractérisé en ce que le système de déglantage (20) comporte un outil d'enlèvement de copeaux (106, 116) en forme de tige ou de disque, qui est étroit frontalement ou sur sa circonférence, de manière à être en mesure d'usiner la molette de glantage (S) retenue sur le système de réception (12) et sur laquelle la lentille (L) dont le bord est usiné est glantée, à partir d'une surface marginale (R) de la molette de glantage (S) à proximité de la lentille (L), sans entrer en contact avec la lentille (L) ou le système de réception (12).
  2. Dispositif d'usinage de bord (10) selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'au moins une partie ayant une action de séparation du système de déglantage (20) peut être positionnée au moyen du système de déplacement (18) du dispositif d'usinage de bord (10) par rapport à la surface marginale (R) de la molette de glantage (S) retenue sur le système de réception (12).
  3. Dispositif d'usinage de bord (10) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisé en ce que le système de réception (12) est adapté à amener en rotation l'ébauche de lentille glantée sur la molette de glantage (S) autour d'un axe de rotation de pièce (A).
  4. Dispositif d'usinage de bord (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisé en ce que le système d'usinage (16) du dispositif d'usinage de bord (10) comprend une broche porte-outil (88) pourvue d'un porte-outil (90), dans lequel l'outil d'enlèvement de copeaux (106, 116) du système de glantage (20), lequel outil est logé dans le porte-outil (90), peut être entraîné en rotation autour d'un axe de rotation d'outil (C) au moyen de la broche porte-outil (88).
  5. Dispositif d'usinage de bord (10) selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que l'outil d'enlèvement de copeaux est une fraise à queue (106) ou un outil de coupe en forme de disque, tel qu'une fraise à disque (116) ou une lame de scie.
  6. Procédé de fabrication de lentilles ophtalmiques (L) au moyen d'un dispositif (10) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, comprenant les étapes principales suivantes, se déroulant dans l'ordre indiqué :
    (a) la fourniture d'une ébauche de lentille, qui présente une première surface (cx), une deuxième surface (cc) opposée à la première surface (cx) et un bord (E) entre la première surface (cx) et la deuxième surface (cc),
    (b) le glantage de l'ébauche de lentille sur une molette de glantage (S), dans lequel la première surface (cx) de l'ébauche de lentille est tournée vers une surface de glantage (F) de la molette de glantage (S), surface de glantage dans le prolongement de laquelle se situe une surface marginale (R) de la molette de glantage (S),
    (c) le traitement de l'ébauche de lentille glantée sur la deuxième surface (cc) et/ou le bord (E), dans lequel le traitement comprend au moins un usinage de la deuxième surface (cc) pour produire une géométrie conformément à une prescription et/ou un usinage du bord (E) pour produire une géométrie marginale autorisant l'insertion de la lentille ophtalmique (L) traitée dans un châssis ou un porte-lentille, et
    (d) le déglantage de la lentille ophtalmique (L) traitée de la molette de glantage (S),
    caractérisé en ce que l'étape principale (d) du déglantage de la lentille ophtalmique (L) traitée de la molette de déglantage (S) comprend une sous-étape de perforation (d.1), selon laquelle une entaille (N) est ménagée à partir de la surface marginale (R) de la molette de glantage (S) de manière adjacente à la première surface (cx) ou à proximité de celle-ci, laquelle entaille sert, en cas de déglantage supplémentaire, de point destiné à la séparation entre la lentille ophtalmique (L) et la molette de glantage (S), dans lequel l'entaille (N) est ménagée au moyen de l'outil d'enlèvement de copeaux (106, 116) en forme de tige ou de disque, lequel s'enfonce dans la molette de glantage (S) de manière à enlever des copeaux.
  7. Procédé selon la revendication 6, caractérisé en ce que l'outil d'enlèvement de copeaux (106, 116), lorsque l'entaille (N) est ménagée, est déplacé radialement et le cas échéant axialement par rapport à la molette de glantage (S), de manière à sensiblement suivre une courbure de la première surface (cx) de la lentille ophtalmique (L) traitée.
  8. Procédé selon la revendication 6 ou 7, caractérisé en ce que la lentille ophtalmique (L) traitée s'appuie sur la molette de glantage (S), avant le déglantage (d), sur toute l'étendue d'une première surface d'appui (Q1) plus importante et, une fois l'entaille (N) ménagée, sur toute l'étendue d'une deuxième surface d'appui (Q2) plus petite, dans lequel un rapport de surface de la première à la deuxième surface d'appui (Q1, Q2) est compris entre 1,5 et 100.
  9. Procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 6 à 8, caractérisé en ce qu'une dernière étape (d.2) du déglandage (d), au cours de laquelle la lentille ophtalmique (L) traitée est retirée de la molette de glandage (S) au moyen d'une force mécanique, fait suite à la sous-étape de perforation (d.1).
