  • the interaction of the spring 155, second ramped surface 156, protrusion 158, and detent block 152 can motivate the protrusion 158 down the second ramped surface 156. This can urge the protrusion 158 into alignment with the second recess 154 (e.g., on the opposite side of the first recess 154).
  • the detent assembly in response to movement of the shroud 107 (e.g., by a user moving the shroud 107), the detent assembly (and thus the shroud 107) can appear to "automatically" move to a rotational position. For example, after a user applies an initial force (e.g., to move the protrusion 158 beyond an apex of the raised portion 157), the shroud 107 can appear to move the remainder of the way to the next rotational rest position on its own, such as because of the protrusion 158 being motivated down the ramped surfaces 156 into the recesses 154.

  • the protruding surface 167 imparts a pressing force that pushes or presses against the inner surface 168, which, in turn, pushes or presses the inner surface 168 against an outer surface of the first support member 102.
  • the magnitude of the pressing force is sufficient to support the shelf 103 at the desired location along and/or around the first support member 102 under a maximum load.
  • the lever 164 can be moved to the open position by pulling or rotating it generally in the direction of an arrow A (e.g., in a direction generally away from the first support member 102). This can result in the cam 165 rotating in a counter-clockwise direction (as viewed in Figure 10 ) and moving away from the inner surface 168 and/or outer surface of the first support member 102. In some variants, the first portion is moved into juxtaposition with the outer surface of the first support member 102. When the cam 165 (e.g., lever 164) moves away from the inner surface 168 and/or outer surface of the first support member 102, the pressing force (e.g., radially inward force, compression, etc.) can be reduced and/or eliminated.

  • the pressing force can be reduced when the second portion of the cam 165 moves out of juxtaposition with the outer surface of the first support member 102 and/or the protruding surface 167 disengages (e.g., moves out of contact with) the outer surface of the first support member 102.
  • the reduction and/or elimination of the pressing force can remove the securement of the shelf 103, which can allow the shelf 103 to be adjusted vertically and/or rotatably.
  • the first portion having the radius R1 is juxtaposed with the outer surface of the first support member 102 and/or the protruding surface 167 is disengaged (e.g., not in contact) with the inner surface 168 and/or the pressing force is decreased between the cam 165 and the outer surface of the first support member 102.

  • the resilient member 169 can be made of various resilient and/or flexible materials, such as rubber, rubber-like material, silicone-based material, plastic, or otherwise. In some embodiments, the resilient member 169 is formed (e.g., co-molded) with a portion of the clamp body 166.

Claims (13)

  1. Système d'étagères de salle de bains (10) comprenant :
    un premier élément support allongé (102) ;
    un second élément support allongé (104) ;
    un premier bras (105) et un second bras (106), les premier et second bras reliant le premier élément support allongé et le second élément support allongé ;
    le premier et/ou le second bras comprenant un mécanisme de verrouillage (118) actionnable par l'utilisateur ayant une position en prise et une position hors prise, le mécanisme de verrouillage étant conçu de sorte que :
    lorsque le mécanisme de verrouillage est en position en prise, le premier élément support allongé soit accouplé de façon fixe avec le second élément support allongé dans l'une d'une pluralité de positions le long du second élément support allongé ; et
    lorsque le mécanisme de verrouillage est en position hors prise, le premier élément support allongé puisse être déplacé le long du second élément support allongé dans une direction généralement parallèle à un axe longitudinal du second élément support allongé ;
    une étagère (103) pour supporter des articles de toilette, l'étagère ayant une périphérie et étant reliée au premier élément support allongé à l'aide d'un mécanisme de liaison ;
    un capot (107) comprenant une plaque qui s'étend le long d'au moins un tiers de la périphérie de l'étagère, le capot étant conçu pour tourner autour du premier élément support allongé entre une première position correspondant à une position fermée et une seconde position correspondant à une position ouverte ; et
    d'une vue en élévation avant du système, lorsque le capot est en position fermée, le capot masquant la vue d'une première partie de l'étagère, et lorsque le capot est en position ouverte, le capot permettant la vue de la première partie de l'étagère.
  2. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 1, au moins l'un des premier et second bras (105, 106) comprenant un ensemble d'encliquetage (152, 153) conçu pour maintenir le capot (107) dans les première et seconde positions de repos rotatives correspondant aux positions fermée et ouverte.
  3. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 2, l'ensemble d'encliquetage comprenant un bloc d'encliquetage supérieur (153) et un bloc d'encliquetage inférieur (152), les blocs d'encliquetage supérieur et inférieur étant conçus pour tourner l'un par rapport à l'autre et pour venir en prise l'un avec l'autre.
  4. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 3, le bloc d'encliquetage supérieur comprenant une saillie (159) et le bloc d'encliquetage inférieur comprenant un évidement (154) conçu pour recevoir la saillie.
  5. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 3, le bloc d'encliquetage supérieur (153) comprenant une paire de saillies espacées de 180° l'une de l'autre et le bloc d'encliquetage inférieur comprenant une paire de retraits espacés de 180° l'un de l'autre.
  6. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 1, le capot (107) étant conçu pour pivoter à 360° autour du premier élément support allongé.
  7. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 1, le capot (107) comprenant une plaque semi-cylindrique conçue pour entourer au moins la moitié d'un périmètre extérieur de l'étagère en position fermée.
  8. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 1, le capot (107) étant opaque.
  9. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 1, le capot (107) étant translucide.
  10. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 1, le capot (107) comprenant une plaque courbée.
  11. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 1, comprenant en outre un mécanisme de liaison qui relie l'étagère (103) au premier élément support allongé (102), le mécanisme de liaison comprenant un dispositif de serrage (162) pouvant être actionné par l'utilisateur, conçu pour permettre le réglage vertical de l'étagère entre une ou plusieurs positions le long du premier élément support allongé dans une direction généralement parallèle à l'axe longitudinal.
  12. Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 11, le dispositif de serrage pouvant être actionné par l'utilisateur comprenant un corps de serrage (166), une plaque de serrage (168) et un levier de serrage (164), le dispositif de serrage étant conçu pour se déplacer entre des positions verrouillée et déverrouillée, une position de l'étagère pouvant être ajustée lorsque le dispositif pouvant être actionné par l'utilisateur est en position déverrouillée, et l'étagère pouvant être verrouillée en place lorsque le dispositif pouvant être actionné par l'utilisateur est en position verrouillée.

Système d'étagères de salle de bains selon la revendication 12, le mécanisme de liaison reliant de manière coulissante et rotative l'étagère (103) au premier élément support allongé (102), le dispositif de serrage étant conçu pour permettre de régler l'étagère avec au moins environ deux degrés de liberté par rapport au premier élément support allongé.
