  • the cage 11 When a cage 11 is positioned at the downstream end 9 of a chute 7, the cage 11 is logged on with the programmable control unit 13 (step 109). In response the control unit 13 links a cage identity of the cage 11 to a chute identity of the chute 7 (step 110). Subsequently for each parcel 4 that is moved to the chute 7 the control unit 13 links the parcel identity to the cage identity (step 111). This way the control unit 13 is able to determine which individual parcels 4 are within a given cage and to trace which cage contains a given parcel 4.

Claims (8)

  1. Verfahren zur Handhabung von Paketen zum Umschlag mit Hilfe eines Sortiersystems, das aufweist:
    - einen Förderer;
    - mindestens einen Scanner, der zum Scannen von scanbaren Codes auf Paketen, die durch den Förderer transportiert werden, angeordnet ist, um Scandaten mit einer Paketidentitätsinformation und Bestimmungsortinformation zu erhalten;
    - eine Folge von Rutschen, die mit dem Förderer seitlich verbunden sind;
    - Auswerfer, die so angeordnet sind, dass sie ein Paket vom Förderer auf eine Rutsche bewegen;
    - eine programmierbare Steuereinheit, die zur selektiven Aktivierung der Auswerfer als Reaktion auf gescannte Paketdaten angeordnet ist, wobei die Steuereinheit Rutschenidentitäten für jede der Rutschen speichert und die Rutschenidentitäten Bestimmungsortdaten zugeordnet sind;
    wobei der Scanner den scanbaren Code eines Pakets scannt und die Scandaten zur programmierbaren Steuereinheit sendet;
    wobei die Steuereinheit das Paket mit einer Rutsche mit passenden Bestimmungsortdaten verknüpft und während des Laufens des Förderers den Auswerfer, der der ausgewählten Rutsche zugeordnet ist, aktiviert, wenn das Paket ihn passiert, und als Reaktion darauf der Auswerfer das Paket vom Förderer auf die Rutsche bewegt;
    wobei anschließend das Paket von der Rutsche in eine Beladeeinheit bewegt wird;
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Beladeeinheit zuerst bei der programmierbaren Steuereinheit eingeloggt wird, wenn die Beladeeinheit mit der Rutsche verbunden wird, und die Steuereinheit eine Beladeeinheitsidentität mit einer Rutschenidentität verknüpft;
    anschließend für jedes Paket, das zur Rutsche bewegt wird, die Steuereinheit die Paketidentität mit der Beladeeinheitsidentität verknüpft;
    nach einer Zeitspanne die Beladeeinheit aus der Steuereinheit ausgeloggt wird.
  2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Beladeeinheit mit einem scanbaren Code versehen ist, der eine Beladeeinheitsidentität codiert, und wobei das Einloggen der Beladeeinheit beinhaltet: Scannen des Codes und Kommunizieren der Beladeeinheitsidentität zur programmierbaren Steuereinheit sowie verknüpfen der Beladeeinheitsidentität mit einer Rutschenidentität der Rutsche, mit der die Beladeeinheit verbunden ist.
  3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, wobei der scanbare Code ein Barcode, ein QR-Code oder ein RFID-Tag ist.
  4. Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei die Anzahl, das Gewicht und/oder das gemeinsame Volumen aller einer vorgegebenen Rutsche zugewiesenen Pakete während der Zeit, in der eine vorgegebene Beladeeinheit eingeloggt ist, bestimmt und verglichen wird mit der Anzahl oder dem Gewicht der gesammelten Pakete in der Beladeeinheit, nachdem die Beladeeinheit ausgeloggt wurde, oder mit dem maximalen Gesamtbeladevolumen der Beladeeinheit, um die Identität der auf der Rutsche verbliebenen Pakete zu bestimmen, nachdem die Beladeeinheit ausgeloggt wurde.
  5. Verfahren nach einem der vorstehenden Ansprüche, wobei ein Marker verwendet wird, um anzuzeigen, ob eine Beladeeinheit eingeloggt ist.
  6. Verfahren nach Anspruch 5, wobei der Marker eine Lampe aufweist, die ein farbkodiertes optisches Signal bereitstellt.
  7. Sortiersystem zur Handhabung von Paketen, das aufweist:
    - einen Förderer;
    - mindestens einen Scanner, der zum Scannen von scanbaren Codes auf Paketen, die durch den Förderer transportiert werden, angeordnet ist , um Scandaten jedes gescannten Pakets mit einer Paketidentitätsinformation und Bestimmungsortinformation zu erhalten;
    - eine Folge von Rutschen, die mit dem Förderer seitlich verbunden sind;
    - Auswerfer, die so angeordnet sind, dass sie passierende Pakete vom Förderer auf zugeordnete Rutschen bewegen;
    - eine programmierbare Steuereinheit, die zur selektiven Aktivierung der Auswerfer als Reaktion auf die Scandaten angeordnet ist und Rutschenidentitäten sowie zugeordnete Bestimmungsortinformationen für jede Rutsche speichert;
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
    die Steuereinheit so programmiert ist, dass sie ermöglicht, eine Beladeeinheit einzuloggen, wenn die Beladeeinheit mit einer ausgewählten Rutsche verbunden wird, und sie auszuloggen, wenn die Beladeeinheit von der Rutsche entfernt wird, wobei das Einloggen aufweist: Eingabe einer Beladeeinheitsidentität und Verknüpfen der Beladeeinheitsidentität mit einer Rutschenidentität der ausgewählten Rutsche; und wobei die Steuereinheit so programmiert ist, dass sie Paketidentitäten von Paketen protokolliert, die zur ausgewählten Rutsche in einer Zeitspanne zwischen dem Einloggen und Ausloggen der Beladeeinheit bewegt werden.
  8. Computerprogramm oder Satz von Computerprogrammen mit mindestens einem Softwarecodeabschnitt oder Computerprogrammprodukt, das mindestens einen Softwarecodeabschnitt speichert, wobei der mindestens eine Softwarecodeabschnitt zum Ausführen des Verfahrens nach einem oder mehreren der Ansprüche 1 bis 6 konfiguriert ist, wenn er in der programmierbaren Steuereinheit abläuft.
