Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé à basse température pour la production de revêtements antimicrobiens sur la surface de matériaux métalliques, naturels et artificiels, et en particulier sur la surface de fibres. Les matériaux revêtus de tels revêtements peuvent être utilisés en médecine au sens large en tant que moyen de protection personnelle (masques de protection) ou en tant qu'instruments médicaux et/ou chirurgicaux exposés à des bactéries et des virus (en particulier Escherichia coli ou Staphylococcus aureus) et un matériau métallique, naturel ou artificiel, revêtu de nanocouches d'oxyde métallique ayant un effet désinfectant et neutre par rapport aux membranes muqueuses.
