Definitions

  • the present invention concerns a kit of a hanging system comprising one or more rails.
  • the kit comprises one or more locking elements, one or more connecting pieces and one or more ceiling attachments.
  • the different parts of the kit are often used in connection with a rail, for instance a curtain rail.
  • kit of the present invention has especially been developed for hanging of curtains, but a person skilled in the art realizes that it may also be used for hanging other objects or connecting objects to each other.
  • Such hanging systems may comprise rails of different sizes and outer forms, and brackets or the like for receiving the rails.
  • the brackets or the like may be fastened to walls or ceilings.
  • the rails and connection or fixation parts to co-operate with the rails are given a specific design. This means that different parts can only be used for a specific system and cannot be used for different systems. Often there are also specific parts for different sizes in one system.
  • DE-U-87 15 256 refers to a mounting rail unit. It is used for forming a carrying unit to hang different constructions.
  • FR-A-2 900 219 refers to a telescopic type flat connecting plate for e.g. high raise false ceiling constructions.
  • US-A-3 237 197 is directed to mounting means for traverse rods. It relates particularly to a design for a traverse rod and cooperating bracket.
  • US-A-3 183 546 is directed to a holding device for securing thereon carrier rails for a curtain or the like.
  • US-A-4 068 345 is directed to a curtain rod assembly for carrying a shower curtain or the like.
  • US-A-2011 0011023 is directed to an attachment device designed to provide a connection between members of a ceiling grid framework and points above a suspended ceiling.
