Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schruppscheibe mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Patentanspruchs 1, wie z.B. aus der US 2015/000206 A1 bekannt.
  • Eine derartige Schruppscheibe ist aus der Praxis bekannt und eignet sich für das Schruppschleifen von Materialoberflächen diverser Materialien. Sie umfasst einen scheibenförmigen Grundkörper, der eine zentrale Ausnehmung zur direkten oder indirekten Anbindung einer Antriebswelle eines Werkzeugs umfasst. Die zentrale Ausnehmung ist von einer Drehachse durchgriffen. Zudem umfasst der Grundkörper mindestens eine Schleifschicht.
  • Die US 2015/000206 A1 offenbart eine Schleifscheibe mit einer Schleifschicht und einer Verstärkungsschicht. Die Schleifschicht besteht aus mehreren Lagen, zwischen welchen jeweils eine Trennschicht angeordnet ist.
  • Aus der DE 94 20 676 U1 ist eine einlagig ausgebildete Schleifscheibe mit einem scheibenförmigen Grundkörper und einem Kern bekannt.
  • Die bisher bekannte Schruppscheibe weist insbesondere bei hohen Drehzahlen keine zufriedenstellende Stabilität auf. Stabilität einer Schruppscheibe bedeutet, dass sie auch bei einem hohen Anpressdruck steif bleibt. Eine stabile Schruppscheibe ist gut zu kontrollieren, so dass eine definierte oder auch hohe Abtragsleistung erreicht werden kann.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Schruppscheibe der einleitend genannten Gattung zu schaffen, welche sich durch einen verbesserten Aufbau auszeichnet und insbesondere eine verbesserte Stabilität aufweist.
  • Diese Aufgabe ist erfindungsgemäß durch die Schruppscheibe mit den Merkmalen des Patentanspruchs 1 gelöst.
  • Die Schruppscheibe nach der Erfindung umfasst einen scheibenförmigen Grundkörper, der eine von einer Drehachse durchgriffene zentrale Ausnehmung zur direkten oder indirekten Anbindung einer Antriebswelle eines Werkzeugs und mindestens eine Schleifschicht umfasst. Die erfindungsgemäße Schruppscheibe hat einen Stabilisierungskern zur Stabilisierung der Schruppscheibe, welcher der mindestens einen Schleifschicht zugeordnet ist und umlaufend an die zentrale Ausnehmung angrenzt. Der Stabilisierungskern weist zudem eine höhere Festigkeit als die mindestens eine Schleifschicht auf. Der Grundkörper weist eine Verstärkungsschicht und mindestens zwei Schleifschichten auf, wobei jeweils eine Trennschicht zwischen zwei benachbarten Schleifschichten angeordnet ist. Jeder der Schleifschichten ist ein Kernsegment zugeordnet. Die Kernsegmente definieren den Stabilisierungskern und sind indirekt über die entsprechende Trennschicht miteinander verbunden.
  • Im Vergleich zu der bekannten Schruppscheibe lässt sich durch den Einsatz eines Kerns innerhalb der Schruppscheibe eine weitere Anpassung und Verbesserung der Stabilität erreichen. Der Kern dient nämlich der Stabilisierung der Schruppscheibe während ihrer Rotation.
  • Speziell im Bereich der zentralen Ausnehmung, wo sich durch den Schleifprozess entstehende Belastungen, wie beispielsweise Rotationskräfte und Seitenlasten konzentrieren, kann der Stabilisierungskern die Schruppscheibe hinsichtlich ihrer Stabilität optimieren, ohne dabei die schleifaktiven Bereiche, die Schleifmischungen oder aber auch die Festigkeit der Schruppscheibe zu beeinflussen. Der Stabilisierungskern nimmt nämlich während des Schleifens auf die mindestens eine Schleifschicht einwirkende Kräfte auf und überträgt sie gleichmäßig über auf die Antriebswelle des Werkzeugs. Gleichsam überträgt der Stabilisierungskern die von einem Nutzer ausgehenden Kräfte über die Antriebswelle des Werkzeugs gleichmäßig auf die mindestens eine Schleifschicht. Der Stabilisierungskern dient somit zudem als Kraftübertragungselement zwischen der mindestens einen Schleifschicht und der Anbindung an eine Antriebswelle eines Werkzeugs. Die Vorteile der erfindungsgemäßen Schruppscheibe liegen sowohl in der Konzentration von Masse im Bereich ihres Rotationszentrums als auch in der indirekten Kraftübertragung zwischen der mindestens einen Schleifschicht und der Antriebswelle des Werkzeugs. Dadurch bleibt die Schruppscheibe auch bei großen Krafteinwirkungen bzw. Anpressdrücken und/oder hohen Drehzahlen stets stabil und gut beherrschbar.
  • Bei einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Schruppscheibe nach der Erfindung liegt ein Verhältnis des Außenradius des Stabilisierungskerns zu einem Außenradius der Schruppscheibe zwischen 2 : 50 und 25 : 50. Vorzugsweise beträgt das Verhältnis 17 : 50. Dieses Verhältnis führt zu einer optimalen Stabilität bei gleichzeitig größtmöglicher Schleiffläche.
  • Dadurch, dass der Grundkörper mindestens zwei Schleifschichten aufweist, wobei jeweils eine Trennschicht zwischen zwei benachbarten Schleifschichten angeordnet ist, ergeben sich im Zusammenspiel mit dem Stabilisierungskern Vorteile gegenüber bekannten Schruppscheiben für den Fall, dass sowohl die Stabilität als auch die Festigkeit der Schruppscheibe optimiert werden soll. Bei einer bekannten Schruppscheibe wird nämlich versucht, eine Anpassung und Verbesserung der Stabilität und Festigkeit durch zwischen einzelnen Schleifschichten angeordnete Trennschichten zu kompensieren. Hierbei ergibt sich jedoch ein Zielgrößenkonflikt zwischen Stabilität und Festigkeit, da sich diese beiden Zielgrößen gegenseitig beeinflussen. Im Vergleich zu der bekannten Schruppscheibe lässt sich durch den Einsatz eines Kerns in Kombination mit Trennschichten eine weitere Anpassung und Verbesserung der Stabilität und Festigkeit getrennt voneinander erreichen. Der Kern dient nämlich der Stabilisierung der Schruppscheibe während ihrer Rotation. Demgegenüber dient die Trennschicht der Festigkeit der Schruppscheibe. So können beide Zielgrößen unabhängig voneinander optimiert oder maximiert werden, um verbesserte Produkteigenschaften zu gewährleisten. Die Schleifschichten können mit diversen Füllstoffen und Additiven versetzt sein. Die Schleifschichten können schleifaktiven Körnungen, wie Normalkorund braun (regulär brown fused alumin) und Derivate, Aluminiumoxid blau (blue fired alumina), Edelkorund weiß (white fused alumina), Zirkonkorund (zirconia alumina), Siliciumcarbid, Keramikkorn (ceramic grain), Edelkorund rosa (pink fused alumina) und/oder einkristallines Aluminiumoxid (monocrystalline alumina) umfassen. Zudem können die Schleifschichten unterstützende Füllstoffe, wie Polyaluminiumfluorid, Kryolit, Pyrit, Calcit, Wollastonit und/oder Graphit umfassen, welche mit Phenolharzsystemen gebunden sein können.
  • Durch die Zuordnung eines Kernsegments zu mindestens einer der Schleifschichten ist es möglich, die Schruppscheibe schichtweise aufzubauen, ohne auf die Vorteile der Erfindung zu verzichten. Bei dieser Ausführung erstreckt sich somit die mindestens eine Trennschicht von Ausnehmung oder einer Nabe bis zum Außenrand der Schruppscheibe. Die einzelnen Kernsegmente sind indirekt über die entsprechende Trennschicht miteinander verbunden. Zwischen benachbarten Trennschichten sind jeweils eine Schleifschicht und ein der entsprechenden Schleifschicht zugeordnetes Kernsegment angeordnet. Die Stabilität der Schruppscheibe ist dadurch gewährleistet, dass die einzelnen Kernsegmente gemeinsam der Festigkeit der Schruppscheibe dienen und den Stabilisierungskern definieren.
  • Weitere Vorteile und vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen des Gegenstandes der Erfindung sind der Beschreibung, der Zeichnung und den Patentansprüchen entnehmbar.
  • Ein Ausführungsbeispiel einer Schruppscheibe nach der Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung schematisch vereinfacht dargestellt und wird in der nachfolgenden Beschreibung näher erläutert.
  • Die einzige Figur zeigt einen Schnitt durch eine erfindungsgemäße Schruppscheibe. Die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Schruppscheibe 1 weist einen Grundkörper 3 mit einem schichtartigen Aufbau auf. Der Grundkörper 3 umfasst eine zentrale Ausnehmung 2, welche von einer Drehachse 5 durchgriffen ist, welche im Rotationszentrum der Schruppscheibe 1 liegt. In der Ausnehmung 2 ist ein Einsatz 4 zum Befestigen der Schruppscheibe 1 an einer Antriebswelle eines Werkzeugs angeordnet. An der dem Werkzeug zugewandten Werkzeugseite der Schruppscheibe ist eine Verstärkungsschicht 6 angeordnet. Die Verstärkungsschicht 6 kann Rutil, Wollastonit, Calcit und/oder Basalt umfassen, welche phenolharzgebunden sein können. Eine Korngröße kann zwischen 0,1 mm bis 1,0 mm, vorzugsweise 0,2 mm und 0,5 mm liegen. Zudem kann die Verstärkungsschicht 6 Quarzsand umfassen. Somit weist die Verstärkungsschicht 6 eine hohe Festigkeit auf. Sie kann eine netzartige Einlage umfassen, um die Stabilität der Schruppscheibe 1 weiter zu erhöhen.
  • Die Schruppscheibe 1 weist zudem zwei Schleifschichten 8a, 8b auf, welche an der der Werkzeugseite der Verstärkungsschicht 6 abgewandten Seite angeordnet sind. Die Schleifschichten 8a, 8b können schleifaktiven Körnungen, wie Normalkorund braun (regular brown fused alumin) und Derivate, Aluminiumoxid blau (blue fired alumina), Edelkorund weiß (white fused alumina), Zirkonkorund (zirconia alumina), Siliciumcarbid, Keramikkorn (ceramic grain), Edelkorund rosa (pink fused alumina) und/oder einkristallines Aluminiumoxid (monocrystalline alumina) umfassen. Zudem können die Schleifschichten unterstützende Füllstoffe, wie Polyaluminiumfluorid, Kryolit, Pyrit, Calcit, Wollastonit und/oder Graphit umfassen, welche mit Phenolharzsystemen gebunden sein können. Somit ist eine Phenolharz-Schleifkornmischung gebildet, die mit diversen Füllstoffen und Additiven versetzt sein kann. Zwischen den beiden Schleifschichten 8a, 8b ist eine Trennschicht 10 angeordnet. Zudem ist eine weitere Trennschicht 10 zwischen der Verstärkungsschicht 6 und der Schleifschicht 8a angeordnet. Die Trennschichten 10 sind jeweils gebildet aus einer Glasgewebelage und dienen der Festigkeit der Schruppscheibe 1. Die Trennschichten 10 erstrecken sich von einem Außenrand der Schruppscheibe 1 bis zu der zentralen Ausnehmung 2 bzw. umgreifen die zentrale Ausnehmung 2 ringförmig.
  • Zudem umfasst die Schruppscheibe 1 einen Stabilisierungskern 12, welcher um die Drehachse 5 der Schruppscheibe 1 herum umlaufend an die zentrale Ausnehmung 2 angrenzt, bzw. abschnittsweise den Rand der zentralen Ausnehmung 2 bildet. Der Stabilisierungskern 12 kann Rutil, Wollastonit, Calcit und/oder Basalt umfassen, welche phenolharzgebunden sein können. Eine Korngröße kann zwischen 0,1 mm bis 1,0 mm, vorzugsweise 0,2 mm und 0,5 mm liegen. Zudem kann die Verstärkungsschicht 6 Quarzsand umfassen. Der Stabilisierungskern 12 weist eine höhere Festigkeit als die Schleifschichten 8a, 8b auf. Der Stabilisierungskern 12 ist gebildet aus zwei Kemsegmenten 12a, 12b und dient als Kraftübertragungselement zwischen den zwei Schleifschichten 8a, 8b und der Anbindung an die Antriebswelle des Werkzeugs.
  • Jeder Schleifschicht 8a, 8b ist ein Kernsegment 12a, 12b des Stabilisierungskerns 12 zugeordnet. Das Kernsegment 12a ist zwischen zwei daran angrenzenden Trennschichten 10 angeordnet. Das Kernsegment 12b grenzt werkzeugseitig an eine Trennschicht 10 an und ist werkstückseitig offen, d.h. von einer Trennschicht 10 unbedeckt. Daraus folgt, dass die Trennschichten 10 den Stabilisierungskern 12 in zwei Kernsegmente 12a, 12b unterteilen. Die zwei benachbarten Kernsegmente 12a, 12b sind über die dazwischen angeordnete Trennschicht 10 miteinander verbunden und definieren den Stabilisierungskern 12.
  • Der Außenradius a des Stabilisierungskerns 12 hat ein Verhältnis zum Außenradius b der Schruppscheibe von 17 : 50. Zudem hat der Stabilisierungskern 12 über seine Dicke bzw. in axialer Richtung der Schruppscheibe einen konstanten Radius.
  • Um eine optimale Anbindung an ein Werkzeug zu gewährleisten, ist die zentrale Ausnehmung 2 als versenkte Nabe ausgeführt.

Claims (9)

  1. Schruppscheibe zur Bearbeitung von Materialoberflächen, umfassend einen scheibenförmigen Grundkörper (3), der eine von einer Drehachse (5) durchgriffene zentrale Ausnehmung (2) zur direkten oder indirekten Anbindung einer Antriebswelle eines Werkzeugs, mindestens zwei Schleifschichten (8a, 8b) und eine Verstärkungsschicht (6) umfasst, welche die mindestens zwei Schleifschichten (8a, 8b) trägt, und einen Stabilisierungskern (12) zur Stabilisierung der Schruppscheibe, welcher den mindestens zwei Schleifschichten (8a, 8b) zugeordnet ist, umlaufend an die zentrale Ausnehmung (2) angrenzt und eine höhere Festigkeit als die mindestens zwei Schleifschichten (8a, 8b) aufweist, wobei jeweils eine Trennschicht (10) zwischen zwei benachbarten Schleifschichten (8a, 8b) angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass jeder der Schleifschichten (8a, 8b) ein Kernsegment (12a, 12b) zugeordnet ist, wobei die Kernsegmente (12a, 12b) den Stabilisierungskern (12) definieren und indirekt über die entsprechende Trennschicht (10) miteinander verbunden sind.
  2. Schruppscheibe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass ein Verhältnis des Außenradius (a) des Stabilisierungskerns (12) zu einem Außenradius (b) der Schruppscheibe zwischen 2 : 50 und 25 : 50 liegt, vorzugsweise 17 : 50 beträgt.
  3. Schruppscheibe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Stabilisierungskern (12) über seine Dicke einen konstanten Außenradius (a) hat.
  4. Schruppscheibe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die zentrale Ausnehmung (2) eine versenkte Nabe ist.
  5. Schruppscheibe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Stabilisierungskern (12) Rutil, Wollastonit, Calcit und Basalt umfasst, welche phenolharzgebunden sind.
  6. Schruppscheibe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verstärkungsschicht (6) Rutil, Wollastonit, Calcit und Basalt umfasst, welche phenolharzgebunden sind.
  7. Schruppscheibe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die mindestens eine Schleifschicht (8a, 8b) schleifaktiven Körnungen, wie Normalkorund braun (regular brown fused alumin) und Derivate, Aluminiumoxid blau (blue fired alumina), Edelkorund weiß (white fused alumina), Zirkonkorund (zirconia alumina), Siliciumcarbid, Keramikkorn (ceramic grain), Edelkorund rosa (pink fused alumina) und/oder einkristallines Aluminiumoxid (monocrystalline alumina) umfasst, wobei unterstützende Füllstoffe, wie Polyaluminiumfluorid, Kryolit, Pyrit, Calcit, Wollastonit und/oder Graphit vorgesehen sein können, welche mit Phenolharzsystemen gebunden sein können.
  8. Schruppscheibe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die mindestens eine Trennschicht (10) ein Glasgewebe umfasst.
  9. Schruppscheibe nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen der Verstärkungsschicht (6) und den mindestens zwei Schleifschichten (8a, 8b) eine Trennschicht (10) angeordnet ist.
