As a consequence, the formation of a stripe-like pattern on the outer surface of the skin layer (5) can be prevented. Further, since the fabric layer (3) is configured by sewing together a plurality of fabric pieces (6), a ball for a ball game which is soft to touch can be obtained.

- the method for manufacturing the ball for a ball game includes: a step of sewing together circumferential edge portions (6a) of fabric pieces (6) with a thread (12) and forming a partially open hollow fabric body; a step of accommodating a bladder (2) inside the fabric body, and closing the opening of the fabric body to obtain a fabric layer (3); a filling step of heating the fabric layer (3) in which a tape material (20) formed of an unvulcanized rubber is disposed at a groove (8) formed on an outer side of a region where the circumferential edge portions (6a) of the fabric pieces (6) adjacent to one another in the fabric layer (3) are sewn together, the heating being performed in a pressurized state inside a mold, and obtaining a state in which the groove (8) is filled with a filler (10); and a step of forming a skin layer (5) on the fabric layer (3) and the filler (10).
- the groove (8) is filled with the filler (10) by heating the fabric layer (3) in which the tape material (20) formed of an unvulcanized rubber is disposed at the groove (8) formed on the outside of the region in which the circumferential edge portions (6a) of the mutually adjacent fabric pieces (6) are sewn together.
- the tape material (20) is vulcanized while changing the shape thereof so as to match the shape of the groove, and part of the rubber penetrates into the gaps between the fibers of the fabric pieces (6) and also into the gaps between the fibers and the sewing thread (12).
- the filler (10) is fixedly attached to the fabric pieces (6).
- the tape material (20) is pressed against the spherical inner cavity surface of the mold. Therefore, the tape material is deformed into a shape having the outer surface matching the outer surface of the substantially spherical fabric layer (3) during the vulcanization.
- the filler (10) can be formed without using a member that has been shaped in advance to match the shape of the groove (8).
- a step of attaching the tape material (20) to the fabric layer (3) such as to cover the groove (8) of the fabric layer (3) may be included before the filling step.
- the operation of arranging the tape material (20) along the groove (8) can be facilitated.
- the circumferential edge portions (6a) of the adjacent fabric pieces (6) may be sewn together with the thread (12), with the tape material (20) being sandwiched therebetween in the step of forming the hollow fabric body.
- the step of attaching the tape material (20) can be omitted.
- the regions of the fabric pieces (6) that are sewn together with the thread (12) can be also effectively filled with the filler (10).
- a coating step of coating an adhesive on the fabric layer (3) and the filler (10) obtained in the filling step may be further included.
- the skin layer (5) may be bonded onto the fabric layer (3) and the filler (10) coated with the adhesive.
- a plurality of skin panels (4) adjacent to one another may be disposed so that facing side surfaces (4b) of the adjacent skin panels (4) lie along the filler (10).
- a rib (37) may be integrally formed with the filler (10).
- a lower portion of the side surface (4b) of each of the adjacent skin panels (4) is brought to lie along and to be bonded to the rib (37).
- the adjacent skin panels (4) may be sewn together with a thread (32).

Claims (14)
- Balle de jeu, comprenant :une vessie (2) ;une couche de tissu (3) située sur un côté extérieur de la vessie (2), la couche de tissu (3) ayant une pluralité de morceaux de tissu (6) et une configuration dans laquelle des parties de bord circonférentiel (6a) des morceaux de tissu (6) adjacents les uns aux autres sont cousues ensemble avec un fil (12) et les parties de bord circonférentiel (6a) sont pliées sur le côté vessie (2) ;une charge (10) chargée dans une rainure (8) formée sur un côté extérieur d'une région où les parties de bord circonférentiel (6a) des morceaux de tissu (6) adjacents les uns aux autres sont cousues ensemble ; etune couche d'enveloppe (5) ayant une pluralité de panneaux d'enveloppe (4) et située sur un extérieur de la couche de tissu (3), la pluralité de panneaux d'enveloppe (4) étant en contact étroit avec la couche de tissu (3),caractérisée en ce quela charge est constituée d'un caoutchouc vulcanisé, etle caoutchouc de la charge (10) pénètre dans les espaces entre les fibres constituant la couche de tissu (3) et dans les espaces entre les fibres constituant la couche de tissu (3) et le fil (12).
- Balle de jeu selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle
la couche d'enveloppe (5) est en contact étroit avec la couche de tissu (3) et la charge (10). - Balle de jeu selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans laquelle
chaque panneau d'enveloppe (4) a un matériau d'enveloppe (4c) et un élément de surface arrière (4d) fixé au côté arrière du matériau d'enveloppe (4c), une partie de bord circonférentiel du matériau d'enveloppe (4c) étant pliée pour suivre une forme de l'élément de surface arrière (4d), et
l'élément de surface arrière (4d) est lié à la couche de tissu (3). - Balle de jeu selon la revendication 3, dans laquelle
au moins un des éléments de surface arrière (4d) est lié à la couche de tissu (3) et à la charge (10). - Balle de jeu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 4, dans laquelle
les panneaux d'enveloppe (4) sont placés adjacents les uns aux autres sur la couche de tissu (3) de sorte que les surfaces latérales se faisant face (4b) des panneaux d'enveloppe (4) adjacents reposent le long de la charge (10). - Balle de jeu selon la revendication 5, comprenant en outre
une nervure (37) formée sur la charge (10), la nervure (37) s'étendant le long de la charge (10), dans laquelle
une partie inférieure de la surface latérale (4b) de chacun des panneaux d'enveloppe (4) adjacents est liée à la nervure (37). - Balle de jeu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, dans laquelle
chaque panneau d'enveloppe (4) a un matériau d'enveloppe (4c) et un élément de surface arrière (4d) fixé au côté arrière du matériau d'enveloppe (4c), les panneaux d'enveloppe (4) sont adjacents les uns aux autres, les panneaux d'enveloppe (4) adjacents étant cousus ensemble avec un fil (32) ; et
au moins des parties d'au moins certains des éléments de surface arrière (4d) sont en contact étroit avec la couche de tissu (3) et la charge (10). - Procédé de fabrication de la balle de jeu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, comprenant :une étape consistant à coudre ensemble des parties de bord circonférentiel (6a) de morceaux de tissu (6) avec un fil (12) et à former un corps de tissu creux partiellement ouvert ; etune étape consistant à inverser le corps de tissu pour loger la vessie (2) à l'intérieur du corps de tissu et à fermer l'ouverture du corps de tissu pour obtenir une couche de tissu (3) ;caractérisé parune étape de remplissage consistant à chauffer la couche de tissu (3) dans laquelle un matériau en bande (20) constitué d'un caoutchouc non vulcanisé est placé sur une rainure (8) formée sur un côté extérieur d'une région où les parties de bord circonférentiel (6a) des morceaux de tissu (6) adjacents les uns aux autres dans la couche de tissu (3) sont cousues ensemble, le chauffage étant réalisé dans une condition sous pression à l'intérieur d'un moule, et à obtenir une condition dans laquelle la rainure (8) est remplie avec une charge (10) qui est constituée d'un caoutchouc vulcanisé ; etune étape de formation d'une couche d'enveloppe (5) sur la couche de tissu (3) et la charge (10).
- Procédé de fabrication de la balle de jeu selon la revendication 8, comprenant en outre l'étape de fixation du matériau en bande (20) à la couche de tissu (3) de manière à couvrir la rainure (8) de la couche de tissu (3) avant l'étape de remplissage.
- Procédé de fabrication de la balle de jeu selon la revendication 8, dans lequeldans l'étape de formation du corps de tissu creux, les parties de bord circonférentiel (6a) des morceaux de tissu (6) adjacents sont cousues ensemble avec le fil (12), le matériau en bande (20) étant intercalé entre celles-ci.
- Procédé de fabrication de la balle de jeu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 10, comprenant en outre une étape de revêtement d'un adhésif sur la couche de tissu (3) et la charge (10) obtenue à l'étape de remplissage, dans lequeldans l'étape de formation de la couche d'enveloppe (5), la couche d'enveloppe (5) est collée sur la couche de tissu (3) et la charge (10) recouvertes de l'adhésif.
- Procédé de fabrication de la balle de jeu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 11, dans lequel
dans l'étape de formation de la couche d'enveloppe (5), une pluralité de panneaux d'enveloppe (4) sont placés adjacents les uns aux autres de sorte que les surfaces latérales se faisant face (4b) des panneaux d'enveloppe (4) adjacents reposent le long de la charge (10). - Procédé de fabrication de la balle de jeu selon la revendication 12, dans lequel
dans l'étape de remplissage, une nervure (37) est formée intégralement avec la charge (10), et
dans l'étape de formation de la couche d'enveloppe (5), une partie inférieure de la surface latérale (4b) de chacun des panneaux d'enveloppe (4) adjacents est amenée à être placée le long de la nervure (37) et à y être collée. - Procédé de fabrication de la balle de jeu selon l'une quelconque des revendications 8 à 13, dans lequel
dans l'étape de formation de la couche d'enveloppe (5), les panneaux d'enveloppe (4) adjacents sont cousus ensemble avec un fil (32).
