Definitions

  • the field of the invention is that of protective devices, comprising a mast and a protective panel pivoting relative to the mast.
  • the invention particularly relates to a sunshade device or for protection against other climatic conditions, and can be used on a terrace, in a garden, on the beach, at the edge of a swimming pool and in similar environments.
  • document is known FR 2,354,729 an umbrella comprising a mast, and a protective panel on which is stretched a fabric, the protection panel being rotatably mounted in three axes orthogonal to the mast, to give the umbrella a variety of different positions and adaptability to climatic conditions.
  • the mechanism for rotating the panel relative to the mast is however not very robust, which prevents to provide for this protective device a large panel.
  • Document is also known FR 2,504,368 a protection device comprising a fabric stretched over an armature, the amount of the armature being offset to be able to associate several devices to increase the protection surface without hindering it by the presence of a mast.
  • This device has a heavier and more rigid structure to increase the protection surface offered by the individual device.

  • the device is also too expensive.
  • An object of the invention is to provide a protection device does not have the problems mentioned above.
  • an object of the invention is to provide a protective device for covering a large protective surface, while maintaining an easy to handle structure.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide an assembly comprising a plurality of protection devices arranged so as to maximize the protection surface without the masts of the devices interfering with access.
  • the invention also relates to an assembly comprising two protection devices according to the preceding presentation, wherein the protection devices are mounted on a common base, the masts being parallel to each other, and each coupling frame is pivoted relative to to the respective support member of the frame to adopt a position in which the two protective devices are symmetrical to each other with respect to a plane (P) extending between them.
  • P plane
