Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for controlling functions in one
- Vehicle with at least one wheel speed sensor In this case, the vehicle one or more, in particular a vehicle rear side associated
- the invention relates to corresponding systems, a control device for carrying out the method and a vehicle with a system.
- Vehicles with antilock braking system in particular vehicles with electronic braking system, have wheel speed sensors. These are also referred to as ABS sensors.
- the wheel speed sensors are used to measure the actual speeds of the respective wheels.
- the signals from the wheel speed sensors are processed to control the brakes. The aim is to avoid blocking wheels.
- Vehicles have in particular on their backside signalers and / or
- the engaged reverse gear must be detected and read in via an electrical line.
- Object of the present invention is to provide a method for controlling direction-dependent functions (forward / backward and possibly standstill), without the actual state of the transmission must be detected.
- the wheel speed sensor also detects a direction of rotation.
- the signal transmitters and / or signal receivers assigned in particular to the vehicle rear side are automatically actuated as a function of the signals of the wheel speed sensor.
- a readout of the gear state is not required. It is sufficient to evaluate the signals of the wheel speed sensor.
- its signals are received and processed anyway by an electronic brake system.
- To detect the direction of rotation special wheel speed sensors can be used.
- active ABS sensors In contrast to passive ABS sensors, these require an independent power supply and not only provide speed-dependent signals, but also information about the direction of rotation of the sensed wheels.
- the signal transmitter or signal receiver are advantageously optically or acoustically effective.
- it is at least one
- Reversing lights a reversing camera, a distance sensor and / or other elements of a back room monitoring.
- the reversing light is an optical signal transmitter
- the ultrasonic sensor is an optical signal receiver
- the distance sensor is, for example, an ultrasonic sensor with emission and reception of acoustic signals.
- One or more of said elements are turned on or activated upon detected reverse.
- a braking operation of the vehicle is controlled in response to signals of the signal receiver.
- an automatic braking in reverse is possible, especially in conjunction with an electronic braking system.
- Signal receiver can also have a designated lift axle automatically in
- the Lift axle Dependent on signals of the wheel speed sensor are actuated. So can the Lift axle be relieved and / or raised when detected by the wheel speed sensor reverse. Typically, the lift axle is lifted hydraulically or pneumatically.
- the control is via a solenoid valve. This may for example be connected to the electronic brake system.
- Wheel speed sensor also detects a direction of rotation.
- means for controlling the signal receiver and / or signal generator are provided in response to signals of the wheel speed sensor.
- Such a means may be a control device, in particular a control device for an electronic
- Braking system of the vehicle optionally in conjunction with other means, such as electrically controllable valves and switches.
- the wheel speed sensor may be associated with an electronic brake system and / or be an active ABS sensor.
- optical and / or acoustic signal receivers or
- Signal generator provided, in particular at least one reversing light, a reversing camera, a distance sensor and / or other elements of a back room monitoring.
- Wheel speed sensor also be detectable a direction of rotation, wherein also means for controlling the lift axle in response to signals of the
- Wheel speed sensor are provided.
- the system is configured so that the lift axle at
- Reversing is relieved and / or liftable.
- a control device As a means for driving a control device may be provided, in particular a control device of an electronic brake system of the vehicle.
- the electronic brake system may be associated with the wheel speed sensor.
- the wheel speed sensor may be an active ABS sensor.
- the invention also relates to a control device for carrying out the method according to the invention.
- the subject of the invention is also a vehicle with a
- inventive system in particular a trailer vehicle.
- Front axle 12 and two rear axles 13, 14 The front of the rear axles 13, 14 is hereinafter referred to as middle axis 13 for better distinction.
- the rear axle 14 is a lift axle which is pneumatically liftable.
- Triggering the Liftachsfunktion the rear axle 14 is associated with a solenoid valve 16.
- the trailer 10 is equipped with an electronic braking system, with the pneumatic brakes, not shown, are controlled.
- a control unit 17 is provided, which typically has a standardized
- Interface 18 is connected to an electronic brake system of a motor vehicle, not shown.
- the controller 17 has other tasks. Also controlled are the solenoid valve 16 for the rear axle 14 (lift axle) and reversing light 19 and an ultrasonic sensor 20. The actuation of the components 16, 19, 20 takes place here as a function of the signals of
- Radcordieresensoren 15 These are designed to detect the direction of rotation. In particular, they are active sensors. As active sensors here sensors are considered, which must be supplied with a voltage and emit the signals from which the direction of rotation and preferably also a standstill can be detected.
- the components 15, 16, 19, 20 are connected to the control unit 17. in the
- Control unit 17 is a control logic wired or programmed, ie in

- Solenoid valve 16 is raised or at least relieved. Very often, the reverse is associated with steering movements and corresponding cornering. The lifting of one of the two axes 13, 14 facilitates that
- a particular advantage of the illustrated trailer 10 is that the reverse is detected automatically and triggers actions without the engagement of the reverse gear must be transmitted from the motor vehicle.
- the trailer vehicle 10 uses the signals typically for
- Wheel speed sensors for detecting the reverse drive.
- the system illustrated by the trailer vehicle 10 is also applicable to a motor vehicle.
- a feedback from the transmission to the control unit via the engaged reverse gear is then not required in the towing vehicle.
