- the heating medium transfers the greater part of its heat to said front heating plate, while entering, already partially cooled down, the second or subsequent heating plates, ensuring, in such a way, a reduced heating output.
- a disadvantage of the solution consists in using an overflow connection or overflow coupling, which significantly complicates and increases the production cost of multi-row heating radiators of such a design, and moreover, it causes problems with radiator cleaning for the end-user, and therefore the mentioned solution did not prove enough in practice.

- a return connection attaches the plate radiator to a return part of the heating system.
- a distributor fitting connects a front plate of the radiator with the supply connection.
- a detachable drainage plug locks drainage at the distributor fitting, and locks a passage between the supply connection and the return connection in the distributor fitting. The passage is opened first by loosening the drainage plug, and after that the drainage is opened.

- the connecting element for connecting two heating plates of the multi-row radiator consists of conventinal lateral connecting sockets and of the first threaded connecting bushing, all arranged to form a T-shaped casing located around a central spherical part of the connecting element, said T-shaped casing having connected variably across the plane that is formed by the principal axes of the connecting sockets and the principal axis of the first threaded connecting bushing the second threaded connecting bushing to its central spherical part, whereby a common insert passes sealingly through both threaded connecting bushings, said insert being provided on one side with the first outflow hole emptying radially into the central spherical cavity of the connecting element and on the other side with the second outflow hole with the outlet in the form of a seat facing the second threaded bushing that is provided with an axially movable valve stem with sealing poppet.
- the connecting element according to the invention constitutes a new concept of the flow regulation through the here not depicted heating plates of the multi-row plate radiator consisting in the fact that the outflow of the cooled heating medium from the front plate of the heating plate facing the room / space is essentially not regulated; it is continuous, while the outflow of the heating media from the rear plate of the heating plate radiator is regulated.

- the connecting element 1 constitutes a new concept of the flow regulation through the (here not depicted) heating plates of the multi-row plate radiator consisting in the fact that the outflow of the cooled heating medium from the front plate of the heating plate radiator is essentially not regulated; it is continuous across the radial outlet 9 of the first outflow hole 8 into the cavity 10 of the central spherical part 5 of the connecting element 1 and from it further continues into the first threaded bushing 4 of the (here not depicted) outflow port of the cooled-down heating medium, while the outflow of heating medium from the rear radiator plate is regulated by the stream volume through the second outflow hole 11 with the seat 12 and from behind the sealing poppet 15 that is controlled by the valve 13 into the cavity 10 of the central spherical part of the connecting element 1, wherein both return flows of the heating medium are mutually mixed in a preset ratio before discharging to said (here not depicted) outlet port through the first threaded bushing 4.
- the obvious advantage is the guaranteed heat output and particularly a thermal comfort as far as the radiant component of the heating plate of the multi-row radiator facing into the heated room / space is concerned, while the second or following heating plates of the multi-row radiator may be regulated effectively in terms of heat output depending on environmental conditions.
- the internal arrangement of the connecting element 1 allows the application of the valve 13 with an axially movable stem 14 and the sealing poppet 15, which can be without further adjustments optionally equipped with (here not depicted) a hand-operated knob, or a thermostatic or motorised head of any standard, that is to say without any design problem caused by conversion of the previously proposed rotational movement of the stem 14 of the valve 13 into straight movement.
- a common insert 7, essentially constituted by a simple single-piece and at least partially calibrated cylinder, may be manufactured as a workpiece of suitable metal or made of moulded heat-resistant plastic or the like, wherein further processing such as the creation of holes 8,11 and seat 12 presents an easily and simple operation of current machining or injection in case of using plastic. It is assumed that the openings in the lateral connecting sockets 2 , 3 are properly calibrated during the manufacturing process, for example by reaming, etc.
- valve group 16 When assembling the valve group 16, the connecting element 1 is readily applicable due to its technical simplicity, and for its achieved effects in so-called valve groups 16 applications, said valve groups 16 being widely used for multi-row radiators due their simple adaptation for bottom, middle and / or lateral connection at (here not depicted) inflow and outflow floor ports of the heating system.
