Claims (6)

  1. A refrigerator unit and/or a freezer unit having at least one carcass that bounds at least one cooled inner space and having at least one closure element by means of which the cooled inner space is closable, wherein the closure element has at least one insulating glass pane in which at least one LCD display (30) is integrated, characterized in that the insulating glass pane has at least one outwardly facing front pane (1) and/or at least one inwardly facing inner pane (4); and in that the at least one LCD display (30) is spaced apart from both these panes (1, 4), with the outer layers of the closure element being formed by the panes (1, 4) of the insulating glass pane, with one or more spacers (2, 3) being arranged between the at least one LCD display (30) and the panes (1, 4), and with the at least one LCD display (1, 4) being adhesively bonded to the spacer or spacers (2, 3) and the distance spacer or spacers (2, 3) being adhesively bonded to the panes (1, 4).
  2. A refrigerator unit and/or a freezer unit in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the unit is an upright refrigerator and/or a deep freezer having at least one door as a closure element or is a chest refrigerator and/or a chest freezer having at least one slidable or pivotable top as the closure element.
  3. A refrigerator unit and/or a freezer unit in accordance with either of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the at least one LCD display (30) is located between these panes (1, 4).
  4. A refrigerator unit and/or a freezer unit in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the spacer or spacers (2, 3) consist of plastic.
  5. A method of manufacturing a refrigerator unit and/or a freezer unit in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the insulating glass pane is manufactured with the at least one LCD display (30) integrated therein; and in that the unit of insulating glass pane and the display or displays (30) is installed.
  6. A method in accordance with claim 5, characterized in that the at least one LCD display (30) is arranged between at least two spacers (2, 3) that are in turn arranged between panes (1, 4) of the insulating glass pane.
