Claims (8)

1. An item of upholstered furniture (100) having a frame (1) of the item of upholstered furniture, a backrest (3), at least one seat element (2) having a seat surface (2a), wherein either at least one seat element (2) may be advanced and retracted relative to the rest of the upholstered furniture (100) or
   wherein the item of upholstered furniture (100), alternatively or in addition to the displaceable seat element (2), comprises at least one long-chair seat element, and at least one long-chair seat element (18) may be advanced and retracted relative to the rest of the item of upholstered furniture (100), wherein
   a fill element (4) is provided, which may be displaced between an at least essentially horizontal position and an at least essentially vertical position, in which it is positioned in the backrest (3), wherein a guide (6) is provided, which guides the fill element (4) on the rest of the item of upholstered furniture (100), characterized in that the guide (6) comprises two guide tracks (6a) and the guide tracks (6a) each have an at least essentially horizontal region (6b) and an at least essentially vertical region and on the fill element (4) guide rollers (7) are positioned, which roll over the guide tracks (6a).
2. The item of upholstered furniture of claim 1, characterized in that the fill element (4) may be displaced along a predetermined path.
3. The item of upholstered furniture of claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the fill element (4) is displaceable and simultaneously tiltable.

The item of upholstered furniture of any of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the fill element (4) is either connected to the seat element (2) or the long-chair seat element (18) or a bridging element (2d, 2d') is provided, which is adjacent to the seat element (2) or to the long-chair seat element (18) and the fill element (4) is connected to this bridging element (2d, 2d').
5. The item of upholstered furniture of any of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the seat element (2) or the long-chair seat element (18) has a seat frame (2b) and the fill element (4) has a fill frame (5) and the fill frame (5) is rotatably coupled to the seat frame (2b) by means of rotary joints (8, 8'), wherein the rotary joints (8, 8') are positioned at a distance (A) above the upholstered support surface (2c) of the seat element (2) or of the long-chair seat element (18).

The item of upholstered furniture of any of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the fill element (4), as soon as it starts to exit the backrest (3), is at least essentially in a horizontal position, so that the fill element (4), when further and differently extracted from the backrest (3), may be used for forming a continuously extendable, at least essentially horizontal seating and/or lying surface
7. The item of upholstered furniture of any of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the seat element (2) and/or the long-chair seat element (18) are supported by two lateral guide rails (9) on the rest of the item of upholstered furniture (100).
8. The item of upholstered furniture of any of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the seat element (2) and/or the long-chair seat element (18) may be advanced and retracted relative to the rest of the upholstered furniture, by using motorized means.
